10 RV Parks near Nakusp, British Columbia
Sep 2018 - $45.00
New owners since last year have been working hard to bring this little park up to its full potential. The owner is very friendly and is enthusiastic about improvements made & for those planned. He was very happy to advise we were the first to enjoy the good municipal water the property was hooked up to the previous day. Great wifi. Level sites, both wooded & open. We'd definitely stay here again & highly recommend it. Note: If you have a vehicle or towdie, it would be ideal to stay here & enjoy the full service hook-ups & just drive up to the Hot Springs for a soak. At the bottom of the road up to Nakusp Hot Springs. - Tuxedoville
May 2016 - $22.00
Rate is Seniors Discount, with power.
This is a very beautiful Park, with some electrical hook ups, sani station, showers, boat launch, playground, beach, walking trails and private sites thoughout the park. The views are staggeringly beautiful up and down the Lake, and Saddle Back Mountain across the Lake is jaw dropping. However, if you come here, you are a little bit off in a no big shopping or major services area. We were in the power hook up area, so not too much shade in our site. - Snoet
May 2016 - $12.00
Rate shown is for resident seniors off season. Park roads have been recently paved, campsites are mostly gravel back-ins with two pull-throughs, and there is an excellent dump station near the entrance. Our site was fairly level and included a picnic table and fire ring. Lots of privacy between sites and plenty of shade from the trees. There are beach access trails throughout the campground and some sites have direct access to the beach as well. No hookups at the site, except for sites 1-18 that have electric. Drinking water available at the dump station and a few faucets along the campground road. The beach was sandy during our stay, but during low water can be muddy. This is an excellent facility and we would have no hesitation on staying here again. - Onemoretrail
Jul 2011 - $27.00
Park is 6 miles from Nakusp right on Upper Arrow Lake. Majority of sites back onto lake and have direct access to the beach. Very well shaded and clean sites in an incredibly beautiful area. No services and pit toilets (but kept very clean). The inside sites (that don't back onto the river) are bigger and would accommodate the really large units. I rated it an 8 because I put a value on having services. Also, no dump station at park so need to fill up with water and dump in Nakusp. We will come back. - trump5
Jul 2017 - $45.00
All sites are are wide and deep enough to handle any size rig. We were in the upper level and like previous reviews road noise can be heard, although not bothersome. The wifi signal is strong anywhere in the campground. The man made beach is equipped with lounge chairs and sun shelters and even a waterfall. - Fun finders
Nov 2016 - $32.00
Walking distance to downtown Nakusp. We stayed in the lower level for 2 nights in early November. We didn't have cable or wifi available ( they turn it off during the winter ). This suited as just fine as we were there for a relaxing unplugged mini holiday. We did have water, sewer & electricity though.
Nakusp Hot Springs was a quick 10 minute drive away. Would definitely visit this campground again !! - Suiteasitgets
Aug 2016 - $50.00
The upper landing is right next to the highway with much traffic noise....not pleasant. Good for over night. Due to the Galena ferry, the traffic dies off after midnight but starts up again 5:30 in the morning. The lower landing is down the hill, nice sites and quite quiet. All the sites on the upper landing are amongst large trees. I would have rated this better if we had been in the lower landing.
There are no showers, restrooms or laundry facilities. Although they say there is wifi, there was no signal at the upper landing. You could go to the office which is 5 minutes away down the hill at the lower landing.
We were charged $2.50/day for each of 2 small dogs yet there are no pet facilities provided. No cleanup bags, no off leash area. - jlo
Sep 2018 - $45.00
Pros: - Beautiful, natural forest setting. Beautiful hot springs. Clean, but be prepared for muddy patches in sites if it has rained. Lots of marked walking/hiking trails. Very quiet, except for nice rushing river below. Dark Cons: Electrical hook-up only, although 30 amp. No sewer hook-up, no dump, have to go to Nakusp on the way out. No water hook-up, but convenient taps to fill up your tank with good, clean, drinkable water on the way into site. Poor signage to check-in. Most every visitor circles around a bit before spotting the Office. No wifi. - Tuxedoville
Aug 2016 - $25.00
The bathroom/shower was not that clean. We joked that it was a ploy to "encourage" admission to the hot springs where the bathroom and shower facilities were good.
There was one dish sink outside of the bathroom, but it was a good distance to walk to from the RV sites. The check in was done at the office of hot springs. - Htt_AB
Jul 2016 - $30.00
We spent 3 nights at the Nakusp Hot Springs RV Park.
Although they only have power, we were equipped with water. NO sewer
dump but downtown Nakusp has a dump station at the Esso gas station.
A very enjoyable stay, lots to do and excellent pool. - gmcdo
Jul 2014 - $27.00
This park is located in the town's park. It is a 5 minute walk to the public beach. There is an arena, skateboard park, and fields attached. The camping area is treed but the sites are still semi-open to the street and each other. There is plenty to keep children entertained and the beach is beautiful! There are 10 sites with power at the perimeter near the street. All others have no hookups. The shower was free, hot water abundant but not that clean in my opinion. The price is reasonable. There is a dump station near the entrance. - Cdntravelmom
Jul 2016 - $26.00
Stayed in the park for 9 nights and managed to get a wonderful lake-side spot on our 3rd day. Very friendly staff. No sani-dump though.
Didn't like that most of the good sites were reservable only. Don't like reservation system. - dsturt
May 2016 - $13.00
The rate listed is Seniors Discount. The Park is extremely well maintained and the host is very personable. All sites are level gravel and are nice and private. Views are wonderful, and there are hikes on the Rail Trail on the other side of the lake. What appear to be pit toilets actually have flush toilets and plumbed stainless steel sinks. Park is quiet, and a waterfall across the road provides white noise for a restful night. Mostly used by fishermen. - Snoet
Jun 2010 - $21.00
This park was a pleasant surprise. Nice flat sites with easy access and little traffic noise. We had a site on the lake so our boat was right at our site. Would stay again if in the area. - lrp374
Aug 2015 - $30.00
Friendly and helpful staff. Gravel driveways, sloping sites to the front and right, all on grass, long enough but some are a bit narrow, pull throughs, water with enough pressure, 30 amp power, uphill sewer, no cable TV, no WiFi. No cell phone signal. Nice setup but could be a bit better groomed (why allow carpets on grass?) Our site had a large square patch of "absolutely no grass at all, about the size of the motorhome. I didn't try the satellite but it should work on some sites. Hookups are working but could use an update. Washrooms are just about o.k. but need more cleaning throughout the day (it's summer time and plenty of guests are there). Showers are coin op with enough hooks, no shelves and with old fashioned "barn doors". This is not really a resort but an o.k. overnighter. - CamperAndy
Aug 2007 - $28.00
Very nice campground 13km se of Nakusp on shores of Summit Lake. Playground for kids, beach access, picnic tables and fire pits at each site. Clean and well maintained. Beautiful scenery on every side of you. - Strybos
Aug 2015 - $70.00
This is one of the worst private parks we have ever stayed at. I wish I had read these reviews before we stayed here as they were right on. The sites are squeezed together on a lot up the hill from the main resort. I can't imagine how a big rig would get in here without great difficulty as we had problems getting around in our 30ft class C. It is an older park that has old hook ups, the showers are NOT private - they are open locker-room style with people and their kids walking through to get to the pools in the main lodge down the hill, the laundry is also far away upstairs in the main lodge. The pools are nice, but by the weekend, they were so crowded with families you could hardly move. They allow babies in diapers in the pools which I find unhygenic. The RV price at $70 a night was bad enough for what you got, but then to add insult to injury the resort charges RV'ers and additional fee to "rent" pool towels while regular guests are not charged. Not sure what that says about what management thinks about RV'ers. - gtogrl
Jul 2015 - $79.00
I agree with the previous reviewers who rated the resort "poor". It felt like the RV side of the business was very low on the priority list: small sites, poor WiFi, restrooms a long way from the CG (for us seniors). I was particularly turned off by the refuse at our site with paper towels and other trash in the fire ring and (double yecch!!) a pair of rubber gloves that someone must have discarded after doing black water duty. There was no view of the lake from our campsite. The restaurant, judging from the menu, is way overpriced. This was one of the low points on our 2 week trip. My wife enjoyed the hot springs and would have rated the place a bit higher than I have. - minerals44
Oct 2012 - $36.00
The RV park of this hot spring is more or less a gravel pit with some hookups. The sites are all on dirt, backup in and only about 3 pull through sites. The sites are level but short and narrow. The hookups are front left and depending where your power cord is, you can't even backup to the end of the site. Small bushes provide some sort of privacy between the sites. The washrooms are far away in the main building and could have been nicer done and cleaner too. Cable TV worked fine but only a few channels are available. WIFI worked past 10.00 p.m. only after everybody else was in bed and from about 07.00 a.m. on no signal anymore, very week signal at the RV Park. If you visit the hot pools it is o.k. to park here for the night, but don't come with an RV longer than 35' and if you come with a 5er of this length, you have a problem to park your truck. The hot spring pools are kind of o.k., however, I expected something nicer and better maintained after all the hype I have heard and read. Maybe it has something to do with the not so busy winter time? - CamperAndy
Sep 2017 - $25.00
We spent 1 night @ the park. The area we camped in had full service. The water and sewer are quite far apart and in our case required 2 water hoses. The park has all types of sites so should suit all comers. The water access varies from steep and rocky to quite sandy. Arrow lake level varies with the season and is quite low when we were there. We would certainly stay again if in the area. - lrp374
Jun 2017 - $30.00
This is a quiet, grassy campground located 30 km south of Nakusp. It is beside the Upper Arrow Lake where trees surround the sites that are large, level, and convenient with a surface of flat rocks and grass and include 30 amp power and water, a firepit, and a table. The showers are clean and free and there is a $5 fee to use the sanidump. There is no tv unless you have a satellite, no radio, and no wifi. We would stay at this park again. - Living Skies
Sep 2016 - $25.00
Very nice park our site was a great grassy site at the lake edge of the park. we chose a non serviced site. but the serviced sites looked nice as well. - Raymond B
Sep 2017 - $17.00
Rosebery is a small PP that is easy to bypass. It is close to numerous outdoor activities such as golf, boating, fishing, historical sites etc. It is located on Wilson Creek with several sites backing on to it. Water is available from a pump! The sites are all located in a mature forest and provide a pleasant atmosphere. The sites are well maintained and cleaned and raked between use. We will stay again when in the area. - lrp374
