The park has lengthy sites with more than ample spacing to the neighbors. The water is hard and has iron, so we were advised to flush it before using. The park allows you to wash your RV, but the soil in each site will get muddy and not drain well, so be careful. It is located about 10 miles from town. We camped at MamaYeh RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Cottonwood Park in Prince George has a series of carvings on the bark of the cottonwood trees - you can enjoy the walk and the "hunt" for the carvings.

The RV park is basic with no facilities other than Port-a-Potties but has long enough pull throughs for our 40 foot coach and tow car. Between sites are wide sections of trees and brush for more private spaces. The water is very hard and does not taste good; therefore, we relied totally on the water in our fresh water tank. The staff was helpful and the very friendly owner visited the coach. WiFi was spotty even with our own Hotspot. The mosquitoes are pretty bad is this region of Canada. Bring your bug spray. We camped at MamaYeh RV Park in a Motorhome.

MamaYeh RV Park and Campground, owner at MamaYeh RV Park responded to this review

Dear Guests,

Thanks so much for your kind review!

MamaYeh has been built as a Provincial Park-like private RV Park! Huge green buffers in between sites are campers' most favorite privacy setting. All the extra long pull-through sites, about 100 feet in length, are big rigs friendly. And 50 amp power supply is another surprise to all big rig campers.

We promise to keep working harder for any necessary improvement in the years to come!

Looking forward to seeing soon again in near future!

Yours,

Edward Yeh / The owner of MamaYeh

Overall Rating:

Found this campground after being turned away from one about 1 mile away - and she did NOT refer us. Discovered it on the Milepost page and called for a site. This park is about 10 miles south of Prince George and in a country setting. It was great to have 50 amp, very nice to have Passport America discount applied to nightly charge, and was very quiet. Would not recommend unless self contained. Full hookups are sweet and Wi-Fi worked well. This is a great overnight site or if working in the area I can see the advantage. Discussed needed some TLC to spruce it up a little but seems to be a work in progress. We would stay here again for the price. We camped at MamaYeh RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
