We have always enjoyed staying here! It is a very friendly lodge. The sites here are FHU with 50 amp electrical service. Out of necessity the sites slope somewhat but are very manageable. Dinner is available in the lodge on Wed & Fri nights. - Brad M

Members only. No reservations, first come first serve. Includes complete hookups, including cable. - HB Taxlady
Dec 2016 - $17.00
Another nice Elks Lodge campground. Elks members only. Sites are all back-in on level gravel. Utilities are well placed and worked as expected. Great cable and wifi. The closer you are parked to the lodge the better the wifi. No dry camping. No reservations. Active, friendly lodge with dinners Wed & Fri. Lounge open daily. Easy access to Eureka for shopping, restaurants and sight seeing. The sights are close together, but it is not an issue in November. We've been here before and will certainly return. - 15243

This facility is an open lot laid out in numbered sites. A fire ring is available at perimeter sites, picnic tables along the western side. These are not available in the central sides. No camping along the eastern waterfront.
This facility sees a lot of turnover and is busy during the day when the salmon are running. There are many 4 wheeler campers and day users. It is quiet at night though. We would stay here again. - SCClockDr

This was a parking lot kind of CG with FHUs, but on the wrong side, so you need a long cord and hoses. The host was very nice. Parking was easy, navigation to site easy, satellite friendly, fairly level, verizon signal was weak, sites are close. For us, it was fine, we don't sit out by the fire pit and eat outside, we are there for the sights and the restaurants around, so we are fine with this kind of CG. - dorcol
Aug 2018 - $50.00
The people working here... their intentions are good. The reason I rate this campground poorly is because it's another large parking lot where campers and trailers are close to one another with little or no ambiance. Not our idea of camping peacefully. - Trailer Bear
Jul 2017 - $35.00
This "park" is full of permanent rigs, mostly old and run down. Reservations are advised, as only a few spots are available. Very close spacing. Your neighbor's sewer is right in front of your door. Unlevel dirt sites. It is a Passport America park, but only if you stay exactly two days, not more and not less. - RCH

This was a nice stop-over park. It was clean and close to the central district (couple miles). Not much to do in Eureka, but that's OK sometimes. The site was sort of short and narrow for our rig (39') and there were 4x4 posts on the dump side that complicated positioning the rig in order to get all the slides out. We managed, but wouldn't want to do it again! - J Tucker
Aug 2019 - $47.00
Nice park right off Hwy 101 if you're looking at short stay. Bathrooms are clean, but wear shower shoes in shower. Very close to town and attractions. - ERIC KRISTY ADVENTURES
Aug 2019 - $46.00
We've stayed at this park several times in the past and found it to be a good place for a nightly stopover in the Eureka, Ca area. A no frills park but a good one with little noise from Hwy 101 Our site was spot on level without using our auto-leveling jacks but did put them down just for stability. Easy and quick access to 101. We will continue to use Shoreline RV Park when our travels take us thru Eureka....... - BankShot

Listen carefully - if you are an ocean fisherman and have a trailer boat it simply does not get any better than this! The owners run a very tight ship in an area that is difficult to do so. The owner's father dredged out what is now the harbor back in the day and built the place. Btw it is the closest harbor to JURASSIC PARK! - CaptCyr
Jan 2014 - $29.00
This marina is on a spit of land sticking out into the sea and is full of longer term and permanent residents. Many obviously fishermen type: both anglers and workers on big boats with families and kids. The owners are nice enough and friendly. There are seafood restaurants nearby and some low sand dunes within an easy walk. There is no WiFi, no cable, no washroom facilities, no showers, the lots are small and narrow, and all back in. The place is essentially a parking lot. I liked it because it felt "real" and not tourist. Fine for an overnight stop if you are self sufficient, and cheaper than most places in the area. We would have stayed for a week but we need WIFI. We would stay again. - Judy Birchland
Jan 2013 - $12.00
As a travel nurse we have to move every 13 weeks. This time we stayed 9 months and all of them at the marina. This is like an extended family. The owners are friendly, the other campers are nice and fun and its an overall great spot. Its on the ocean and the dogs loved their daily walks there. We never had an issue with theft, loud neighbors, or dogs, and most everyone was respectful that we were day sleepers. Not a lot of amenities, but a great place to stay for nice ocean access and an awesome restaurant within a very short walk. - nursestafford

Great little place, have a 42 foot 5th wheel, turns are slightly tight in the park but the sites are decent sized. Pool is heated and there’s a hot tub too. - BigMatt
Sep 2018 - $41.00
The pictures on the website are NOTHING like the actual park. We reserved a deluxe tent site with water and electric. We arrive and the place looks a little questionable. I check in and we head to our site. It is tiny, no fire pit and surrounded by campers who seem to be living there. Across from our site the RV sites were packed with RVs and a ton of cars. It looked like the person living there had a used car lot and they were working on cars. Behind the fence of our site looked like another junk yard. The pictures on the site look like there is ample space between sites, but in reality it is like a rundown parking lot. We did not feel comfortable here at all and went to talk to the staff. I told them we did not want to stay and would like a refund, but the rules are no refunds, which makes sense because I am sure many people show up there and decide they are not comfortable staying there. Look elsewhere for a park, this place is super sketchy. I wish I would have taken photos, but we just wanted to get out of there. - wendy13
Aug 2018 - $50.00
Overpriced unkept Park. My husband had to cut tree branches away from our coach on our "pull through" and will have to back out of the spot because overgrown trees prevents him from pulling through. Something wrong with electric on our 50 amp, our coach kicks off on it....hate to think what would happen if we used our AC. WiFi is pretty much the slowest I've had and is mostly non-existent. Park not in the best location, hidden behind lumber store and close to nothing. Lots of permanent residents which is fine but this is a trailer park not an RV Resort. I feel ripped off paying $50.33 (after good Sam discount) for this mediocre parking spot. I would not stay here again. - MaryIrish

No WIFI in July 2019; they have ordered a new system but it is not in yet; perhaps September. Otherwise very nice. Paved, pull-through spaces are relatively level, with grass areas between them, and new picnic tables. Water pressure is too high; bring a pressure regulator, since theirs don't work. A few trees, but mostly no shade, which is no problem in a cloudy July on the coast. Tiled shower rooms large and work well, but not fancy. Overall a fine place to stay. - Big Sur Ridgewalker
May 2019 - $54.00
Big rig friendly with concrete level sites. Easy on and off to highway. Showers and WiFi was good. No dog park but grass to walk dog. Had a large book exchange and no problem with satellite. - Fulltimersrv
Dec 2018 - $42.00
Roads and sites paved and the roads are easy to get around on. Check in was a breeze however after he charged my card I was informed that the cable was out. We got to our site, a back in, with easy access and right next to the bathroom. As it's prone to do in this area it rained, not much by local standards but we are now somewhere between a rv and a boat. We are sitting large puddle that is a pain to deal with. Showers were clean and had great hot water and prett good pressure but it appears their plumber put in the faucets backwards. So if you want hot turn it to cold and vice a versa. Verizon phone and Mifi worked well and their Wifi was ok but a bit slow for everyday use. We will probably stay here again for a night so we can resupply from Costco and Safeway but not any longe than a day. Road noise wasn't too bad and the park is extremly well lit. - pumper9x9

Sep 2019 - $11.00
Not really an RV Park, just a section of the parking lot set aside for RV parking. Trucks also use it. Check-in is a chore. drive to the hotel, go to the casino for a player card, return to the hotel, pay the fee and then go to find any open space. No services but there is a dump station and potable water. Security does provide a shuttle service and they offer 4 restaurants. We ate in the bar/grill to watch the football game. Priced right for a quick one-nighter. Would stay again. - Nevada Nick

This place is not really an RV park but just a parking lot for your RV. No amenities but the price was right. $10 for two nights. - texaschris

they have a 3 night max, but were happy to extend it as we rode out a big storm. No hookups but a nice Dump AND potable water, quiet parking lot, security drives around. friendly staff. you do need to show activity and get a player's card. good breakfast at Alice's Restaurant. - mac2school

Nice quiet park very well located near the fun town of Ferndale. We realized later we could have dry camped for $12.00. - pwgfalcon
Apr 2018 - $28.00
No frills campground next to the fairgrounds. $28 for a night is a deal. Since I was there for only one night they allowed me to park on the asphalt. The campground is grass in need of cutting. Staff was friendly and helpful. It's a bit of a drive off of US 101 but worth the drive for the price. Dump is inside the fence behind the first building. - jnateg
Nov 2017 - $28.00
This is a typical Fairgrounds Rv Park --- just a grassy area with water and power stickups. Roads and site are ill defined. The bathrooms are clean enough and there was lots of hot water. There is no laundry or amenities. I think this park would be a mud pit in the rain. We actually set up in on the asphalt parking area next to the campground and hooked into the nearest water and power. We had the camping best spot OUT of the Rv park. Downtown Ferndale is beautiful and walking distance away. T-Mobile data worked great so we never tried the park's wifi. - whizbang

Our planned stay went awry when we had repair issues. We were there from September to October. Very nice park with great front desk personnel. The park is very clean. We could see and smell the daily cleanings. Nice laundry room, also immaculately clean. Great rec room with large screen TV and table tennis. Shaded outdoor sitting area. My only complaint is that the office closed at 5:00. Despite other reviews, we had no problems with the long term residents. Would gladly return. - skl2152003

It was a bit rundown. Half of the grass was dead and the sites were a bit close. It did have satellite TV. - Greg Van Dyck
Aug 2019 - $55.00
Unfortunately, this park has gone down hill sense we were there last July. Weeds have taken over the flower beds. Tree limbs overhanging our motorhome. Dog poop in the site next to us where two small boys played in the grass. The full timers have junk everywhere. We will not return next year on our trip to Oregon - SSM 46
