For short term stays- in a pinch- ok, but be prepared for lots of tight turns and obstacles.

The park itself looks ok. Yes- there are lots of long term residents. I didn't notice any junker RVs there. There are lots of long term storage sites as well. The few people that we met there were nice and would wave. The reason for 2 stars- we stayed 3 nights and they gave us a back in site. OK no problem. Except its uphill and in a small cul-de-sac and oh, since there are full timers there- go ahead and get the fifthwheel in around all of their cars and stuff. The check in was easy, check out even easier. The hook ups were easy. There were 30 and 50amp hook ups. Site was pretty level. It had cigarette butts all over it so that's another negative. Our fifth wheel is 36’. We are not planning on coming back to this campground. Unless they get better short term sites. We camped at Country Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Though this RV park has great potential it is not pursued. Most of the spaces are permanent residents in old RV's most appear not movable. The residents do not keep up their sites so it looks horrid. Broken down vehicles and trash (maybe personal belongings) surround most of the permanent residents sites. This is not much more than an expensive overnight stopover. There my was no picnic table at my site. Next time I am in the area I will go to a Walmart or rest area which is comparable to this RV park only free. There is no place to dump your trash. On a positive note it was quiet. We camped at Country Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Water pressure is about 35 psi. Voltage is low 104 volts to 111 volts. Be prepared to camp next to broken down unkept RV's. I would avoid this RV park.

Stayed here for 3 months during the winter. Roads could use some work, some tight turns; under new management, they are working on landscaping (mostly desert area). Spots are gravel with a concrete patio. There are a lot of full time residents but all were very nice. Some of the run down RV's are being weeded out (I'm sure that takes time). Our spot was up on a hill, could get windy at times. Never any issues with the laundry services. Nice pool and hot tub. Others stated they didn't feel safe, we never had an issue with anyone there or in the area. We walked our dogs all through the nearby neighborhoods without any problems at all. My husband rode his bike to the nearby Walmart and grocery store. Several families in the park with kids; had a park Halloween party that was fun. Office staff friendly and helpful. No this is not a high dollar resort, but it is a nice and safe place to stay. I worked in San Bernardino so this was a good spot for us to have as a home base. We would stay again. We camped at Country Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a very sad RV park with nearly all of the occupants also residents. The place where they put us an 'overnighter' was between 2 broken down motorhomes. One had trash, flat tires and a rusted out car and some other vehicle under a torn tarp; the other side we had a very worn trailer with 3 motorcycles, a few rusted vehicles and clutter all around. The place simply did not feel safe. We had planned to stay 3 nights but left after just one. They were very good about refunding our money. There were a lot of down and outters, tattoos, smoking, obvious drug users, etc. hanging around in the park. Other places in the park were well-maintained but we weren't put there. It was full. There was a gate key given to us to use so they are aware of security. It's just a bad area all around there. I understand there is new management trying to improve the park. We will never stay there again. We camped at Country Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beaumont is not a safe community. Best bet is to stay farther out from the general San Bernardino/Riverside area.

Used this as a dry night rest stop. Internal roads were very poor and not conducive to larger rigs (lots of tight turns and hills). Space was literally just a space with low hanging branches, tight (narrow) space. Pull through requested as it was a simple rest stop. Limited space so had to ask neighbor to move his car so I could make the turn to get out of the space. Space was simple gravel that was worn and mostly dirt. About 3 miles off the frwy but the roads are narrow residential and then rural (narrow and windy) access to the actual facility is not big-rig friendly.

I have a 36ft RV and found it was about as big as you would want for this park. I would not stay here again for the price and lack of facilities and bad roads. We camped at Country Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

We had a pull through site, all gravel, no table even though some other sites had tables. The sites are very close together, no privacy. Many permanent trailers here, some with lots of junk around their sites. If you need to do laundry go elsewhere. The washers and dryers require use of a credit or debit card and one of the dryers did not work but proceeded to charge my credit card four times! I spoke to the office people and also called the service number listed on the dryer. Still waiting to hear back after several calls to them. Will be disputing those charges if don't hear back. The website is very misleading on the condition of the park. The best that can be said is that it is quiet with no highway noise. Oh, and be prepared to pay a $20 deposit for the card key to get in the gate, which you get back when you leave. If you want to leave early in the morning you might want to turn in your key the day before as the office does not open until 9:00 am. We camped at Country Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

This seems to be a primarily residential park on a hillside. There is a gate with $20 deposit for the key (bring cash if you want your money back when you leave, they refund checks and plastic by mailing a check back to you). The lower entry part is a flatter open area with half taken up with storage RVs . Our gravel site was a little tight to get in and out of and didn't have a picnic table on the concrete patio as advertised, possibly because we were only staying one night. WiFi was excellent, the best in any park we've stayed in. The staff was friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is semi-rural with newer housing developments close by. It was quiet. Laundry looked okay, we didn't use it, $1.50 each for wash and dry. Pool/spa and clubhouse were small but looked okay. Bathrooms were ancient and uphill from our site. Showers were coin-op and two of four in the ladies' were out of order, and I would not have used. Showering before entering pool area would be awkward. We would not stay here again. We camped at Country Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

We spent one night at this park and were not impressed. It was run down with dust and dirt everywhere, along with a large storage area for RVs and other assorted vehicles. Our 'pull-through' space was a pull through; however, had we tried to drive out we would have probably scraped the sides of our coach on trees and bushes. We barely got the slide out while parked. This park had just recently changed ownership, and it appears there are a lot of things that need to be changed and/or upgraded. We will not stay here again. Watch the power in the transient sites. Ours went off and on all night long. Managers tried to tell us it was our surge suppressor, but it's worked fine since. Adequate for a 1-2 night stay. Pay showers, trash cans only at office, which is a long way from the campsites. We camped at Country Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park sits in a little valley. Upon cresting the ridge in approach to the park, one sees scores of RV's parked so closely together you wonder how they can open their doors. Then you realize that is a storage yard. Ha ha. The actual RV park is much more spacious. There is no cable TV but digital antennae reception was good and provided about 20 stations. Water pressure was good, there was shade at my pull through site and the manager's husband guided me to the site in a golf car. I thought the place was just fine for an overnight and would not be hesitant to return. We camped at Country Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This place is very old and dumpy overall. I have never stayed anywhere that had the plague of flies like this place has. The ants are a problem also. To get to the spots you drive through several large old rig graveyards, also known as storage. An online map shows there are lakes here. There are no lakes here: it's a desert, dry and dismal. Around the front office there are several nice plants and trees but otherwise the place is dreary. The pool and hot tub are ok, clean enough. The bathrooms and laundry are sketchy. Playground? Not really. Its all gravel, not too unlevel. Most here are permanent residents, rigs of all ages, mostly older. Town is close. Plan to be nickel and dimed to death over the electric if you stay monthly: something about commercial rates? (Yeah, right.) No cable TV. The Wi-Fi works maybe half the time. No cell phones work here, I don't care who your server is. Its like being in the Twilight Zone. Plan to be cut off from the world during most of your stay here. I guess I'd stay here again, grudgingly, if I had to. If I didn't need an electric hook up I'd rather stay at a rest area or a Wal-Mart lot. We camped at Country Hills RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We loved this Park. It is in the country but close to town. Sounds to me the other reviewers are not being truthful. We are camping, not staying at the Ritz!! Management was very helpful. We were told the owners don't live on the property. We were told the house on the hill is a rental. We will stay here whenever we are in the area. We camped at Country Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were coming back to NorCal from Tucson and were looking for a campground beyond Palm Springs. When we looked at the areas we would have preferred to stay in, such as Redlands, we found nothing and were forced to back track to Beaumont. As you will see when you read other reviews, there are differing opinions on this place. Our opinion is that this is a place in decay with little or no upkeep visible. It is also appears to have become primarily an RV storage yard for the locals to use. There are also some run down full timers living here. They provide free Wi-Fi but no cable TV. For a one night stay it sufficed, but I cannot imagine staying there longer than necessary. The price of $35 for Good Sam rate and $2.00 for our dogs was in my opinion, $10 too high. We camped at Country Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is absolutely the worse park I have ever been into. People please don't even think about staying here for one night. It's like entering a concentration camp. The owner lies about the electric, and you will pay a hefty price when pulling out. It's a commercial rate and its huge. We stayed here 3 weeks and the cost was over $200.00 dollars. I believe somebody is pocketing that money because we never had that kind of bill before for electric in our 32 ft trailer. There are so many rules that you feel you are staying here just to please the owner who lives on top of the hill overlooking you. He comes down and threatens you for every little thing: saying you must leave and you absolutely won't get your money back. You will have to leave and he again pockets the money. He won't let you have a hose to wash your RV or water any plants you have, etc. Whoever comes to this Park, even for a over night better BEWARE!!! DON'T DO IT. We are seniors who were treated like nothing more than a Big Purse for the owner who makes sure your locked in and can't leave until he says so. Code enforcement needs to come in here and shut him down. The owner brags he is rich and nothing can't stop him. What a scam. We camped at Country Hills RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
