Beautiful little park set on the shores of Bridgeport Reservoir. Excellent trout fishing. The park has complimentary paddle boards, kayaks, and a paddleboat. Owners and staff are outstanding. Quaint eclectic decorating and landscaping add to the charm. Easy driving distance to Yosemite, Mammoth Mountain, and many gorgeous lakes. We camped at Paradise Shores RV Park in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed a lot about this park. Pros: We enjoyed many features of this park including that it is directly on the reservoir looking across at totally undeveloped land. There are good views from nearly every site. The park is kept sparkling clean by the staff - who are very welcoming and knowledgable. There are a number of surprising amenities provided including two kayaks, a 16 foot skiff (you supply the motor), comfortable chairs (including one recliner),tables, fire-rings and barbeques provided throughout the park. They also wide array of toiletries provided at no charge in the sparkling clean showers and restrooms. We were so pleased that this park offered recycling. The interior roads and sites were well graveled. A small table in good condition was provided at each site. Cons: The sites themselves were too close together. We just had room to put out or two camp chairs and small table facing the lake. There was another row of RVs parked just above and directly behind us with very little space to walk behind our RV. However there were many places in the park to sit in seating and tables provided by the park including the recliner that I enjoyed for a couple of hours! We camped at Paradise Shores RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The little town of Bridgeport had a lovely old hotel, beautiful old courthouse, and a great Native American arts store. Well worth take the short walk through the town. There is ample RV parking on the block behind main street and on the side streets.

I can't speak any more highly of this park because a place such as this is rare. The staff and owners are some of the best people I have ever met. They are the kindest people and they really do care that you enjoy your stay. Great Saturday night bonfires and a very clean and pleasant atmosphere. This place will never disappoint you. Stayed for 4 days in this quiet, friendly park. The reservoir was low but the dog enjoyed it. They have a dog wash that was great. We had a motorhome with a dolly so they gave us 2 sites for the price of one even though they were full over the week-end. Owners on site and very friendly. Lake is down but not out. We stayed in lower level spot with 180 degree view of water and surrounding mountains. The owners are very nice, helpful and working hard to improve the park. This is a small park but each site was of sufficient size to accomodate a full sized motorhome. There is a community fire pit, happy hour setting, and lots of planted flowers around the park. The wifi worked flawlessly and I was able to use my satelite dish for TV. The gravel sites on the part of the park are level and provide a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding mountians. The restrooms were small but very clean with small added touches such as razors and q tips. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Paradise Shores RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is an older park that is now owned by a young couple who are working very hard at making it a nice place. So far, I've stayed here twice, both during the recent drought.

The sites are small but there is a fair amount of space between them. We are in a 24ft MH. I wouldn't want to try to get something much over 30 ft in because of the sharp turns to get into the spaces. There are a number of pull throughs as well as back ins. The park itself is built on 2 tiers, which allows a view of the lake from all of the spots.

The bathroom is immaculate and even has some nice touches such as disposable razors and hand lotion. There are 2 showers, which were very clean as well.

They are very dog friendly. Leashed dogs are allowed and there is no breed discrimination. They also supply poop bags.

It was somewhat dusty and the lake is a bit of a hike. But California is in a historic drought, so that is not the owners' fault.

I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Paradise Shores RV Park in a Motorhome.

The people that run this campground are very nice. The RV spaces, though, are very small and RVs are extremely close together. The reservoir is very low right now and the water in front of us is hardly there. There is 30 amp service is available, but is not sufficient to cool my motorhome down in the heat. I would not come here again due to the small RV spaces. We camped at Paradise Shores RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park. Gravel but a little dusty in the wind. Level sites. The staff are very friendly and the owners are working hard to spruce up the place. Our cell phones didn't work in the park but did in town, a mile down the road. Other cell phones did work. I would stay there again. We camped at Paradise Shores RV Park in a Motorhome.

This an old park that could stand upgrading but everything is clean, neat and well maintained. The Wi-Fi is one of the best we find anywhere. The view of the lake is great. The upper sites are gravel and level. We camped at Paradise Shores RV Park in a Motorhome.

Roomy spaces, park is all gravel. Upper parking is pretty level, lower area, (nearest the water) slopes, and you probably need blocks when leveling. Very friendly people, great area. I have 3 dogs and it was great to be able to take them away from campground, near the lake, and turn them loose to run. Trout are stocked in the lake and neighboring creeks. Great fishing. Will return here next year. We camped at Paradise Shores RV Park in a Motorhome.

We visited earlier to check out our space and had been told we would be parked next to fence, however upon arrival site taken and were directed to a site we assumed was ours. The site was actually two sites and after already setting up, had to disconnect and move our motorhome closer to the unit next to us.there was about 6" between our two slide outs and we did not have room for our awning, which was unfortunate because we were asked not to use air conditioning because of heat wave. Although the view was nice, restrooms were clean, but too close to really relax and enjoy our stay. We camped at Paradise Shores RV Park in a Motorhome.

We arrived with the expectations of having access to a Fire Pit and Bar-B-Que and WiFi. The cable was not working, there are no Fire Pits, Bar-B-que let alone a Sun Deck! I phoned and specifically asked to make sure they had all these amenities and they said yes. Very disappointed there web site even states they have it and yes we still paid full price! We stayed here for 6 days and found nothing wrong with the park. The owners are super friendly, the restrooms and shower super clean and the atmosphere calm and quiet with a great view. We stayed in the lower level with a view of the lake in a 37' RV. The spot was gravel but even and level with plenty of room for 3 slide outs. Love this park, will definitely go back. The bonus it is close to many fishing areas. We camped at Paradise Shores RV Park in a Motorhome.
