We didn't have to go through an inspection like some have mentioned, but had to provide copies of our motor home and tow vehicle insurance, Passport America card and driver's license. First time to EVER be required to have copies of insurance and driver's license at any parks. Then after we were given the number of our space, we drove to it and discovered the camper next to our assigned space was parked in our site (taking up 2 spaces which were very close together). We went ahead and parked in another space we liked better. Went to the office to report the problem and one of the workers came over and checked on situation, finding no one home at the camper occupying our assigned space, he agreed we could stay in the site we had pulled into. We were ok with our arrangement and finished setting up. Being a Sunday, the office wasn't open to complete our check-in. Next morning we went in to settle up. Long story, so I won't go into other details, only to say we checked out early because of bad storm that was moving in and residents were advised to evacuate because of possible flooding. We won't stay here again because of the check-in requirements. We camped at Glen Ivy RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is my very first review and this park was so terrible, I felt obligated to create an account to leave a review. When we pulled in, they make you pull over in order to get an inspection (of your power cord and sewer hose). While we were waiting, a big dog fight broke out between the dogs of 2 permanent residents. There was a lot of screaming and threatening from the 2 men, which started us off uneasy. As we were being escorted to our space, we started to notice the "tent city" that we were pulling into. The rigs are all completely run down, covered in tarps, not well taken care of. Usually, that's not an issue for us, as we've stayed in some sketchy places before, but something about this park was "off." The people who live there full-time seemed a little sketchy. Anyway, we got pulled into our spot after being directed by the host (he insisted he HAD to help us, even though we do this every week and know our rig better than he does.) Once he walked away, we kind of looked at each other and immediately started planning our escape route. Called the park we were staying at next and they were able to accommodate us early. We didn't even care that we lost our $35 non refundable deposit. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT stay here! RUN. We camped at Glen Ivy RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Checked in on New Years Day. Check in process was OK but didn't understand the "inspection" process when there are many, many dilapidated campers on site. We were escorted to a site to find grossly un-level. We were so close to the neighbor, we could pass a cup of sugar without leaving our camper. After I got settled, I saw many, many open more acceptable sites. Why was I placed in such a ratty site when other better sites were available? Was not provided with a campground map, so I was flying in the dark. Took a shower to find only two stalls and one broken. No heater and the outside temps were in the 50's and couldn't get the shower water to mix correctly, either hot or scalding hot. I guess for $17.50 (PA rate) it would do, but will not stay here again. Utilities were good, didn't use WiFi of cable. My site did provide an excellent view of the southern sky for satellite aiming. The site was sand and the internal roads were pothole filled asphalt. he atmosphere was very quiet with owls singing at night. No traffic noise and for older couples, no children in our area. The on-site store was very well stocked. We camped at Glen Ivy RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The female receptionist gave excellent reservation service. Good check-in experience. Friendly Guard Shack guy, gave us good instructions on where to park at the inspection pad. Inspection consisted of another friendly man driving up in a golf cart, looked from his golf cart to see we were not leaking any fluids, and guided us to our site. He pointed out the available water, electric, sewer and TV cable connections. Place is very well kept up, clean swimming pools. I was here about 6 years ago, place was kinda messy from some (not all) of the permanent residents. But, now is very well kept up. Store has typical camping goods for visitors. We purchased cooking oil, spices, and ice cream. Only negatives I need to report, is the TV cable connection at my site were found in the dirt and I was not able to find any cable channels after doing my normal menu search. There are many over-the-air TV stations, as I pointed in the correct direction with my amplified TV antannae. The park has several WiFi locations transmitting from the bath-shower rooms located around the park, but the WiFi kept dropping in and out. It was frustrating establishing a good WiFi connection. Overall, I will come back again, to escape the nearby big metropolitan area of Los Angeles for a nice get-a-way We camped at Glen Ivy RV Park in a Motorhome.

Toms Farm is about a mile away...good place to eat at several of the restaurants for comfort food and on weekends there is free entertainment. It would be too far to walk to Toms Farm, but a very short drive by vehicle. Instead of buying drinking water in bottles, use the Reverse Osmosis water machine..you will need your own container.

Based on previous reviews we almost didn't come here...but I am so glad we did! I really like this park, and the people that work here are great, especially the girl in the office. We had 30 amp service which was fine, great water pressure and good tasting water, a back in that wasn't very long (our rv is 40' long) but it was very wide and comfortable. There is one section of the park that has a lot of older rv's, and it's true that there is stuff outside them, but the people are very nice, the children were well behaved and we didn't care that they weren't all nice and new. It was fairly quiet and the 3 pools were all clean and nice. There is a lot for kids to do, basketball court, playground and the nice pools. The laundry facility had decent equipment and was $1.25 for a regular load and 75 cents for 45 minutes of dryer time. This park required an inspection of our rv and proof of insurance for not only the tow vehicle but the rv itself, which I thought was a little strange, but not a problem. There is security at night and probably during the day, as we saw security guards often. The surroundings are nice..directly behind the RV resort is Glen Ivy Hot Springs which was beautiful! The area around is also beautiful, and don't miss Toms Farms just a short distance down the road. We only planned on staying 2 nights and liked it so well that we stayed another day. Don't be afraid to come here based on other reviews. We're retired car and rv dealers and we really enjoyed ourselves. The new owners are doing a good job keeping this place up. The interior roads are paved with speed bumps and the sites are mostly dirt, but fine and nearly level. We camped at Glen Ivy RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

You must go to Toms Farms. It is a large complex of stores, restaurants, delis, wine and cheese shop, carousel, train, shooting gallery and more. The landscaping is beautiful, and on Saturday every week they have a craft fair and entertainment.

This park is a permanent resident trailer park in every bad connotation that the word "trailer park" congers up in your mind. Lots of trailers with lots of stuff piled outside around them. Lots of unruly people arguing loudly. Supposedly there was even a shootout here a few years ago according to one resident. It's like being packed in a sardine can! Yes, you're very "friendly" with your neighbors whether you want to be or not! They advertise wifi, but no, it doesn't work. Was going to stay longer but left the next day. Walmart is a lot nicer and safer as well. We camped at Glen Ivy RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Clean pool and grounds. Generous site, some with shade. Wifi worked fine. We were close to bathroom number 7. Showers either need mould removed or new paint. Many bathrooms throughout the park. Wifi works off each bathroom number. Our site was not level and was in full afternoon sun when other sites were available in shade. Lots of permanents. Very nice owners/mangers. Need to show proof of registration, insurance and ID and they check your RV before entering for any leaks. We camped at Glen Ivy RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park has residents packed in like cord wood with extremely little room between each unit. Most units were permanent residents with related items scattered throughout their minuscule piece of land. Our space had no place to park our truck and ended up with having to go find a security guard to deal with the angry permanent resident next door the very first night. The lot was so narrow there was insufficient room to extend our awning without banging into the awning of the unit next to us. We stayed here because it was close to where family live but we will NEVER stay here again. We camped at Glen Ivy RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Be aware, Glen Ivy RV is no longer a Passport America member. While the site we had was level, the TV cable did not work and the dumping station at the site (#22) had water in it up to within a foot of the cap. I was unwilling to dump there, as it may have overflowed. The park itself seemed nice. One of three men showers in the nearest bathroom had been out of order for what appeared to be a long time, as it had accumulated a lot of refuse. The electric worked fine. There was lots of shade from very nice old trees. We camped at Glen Ivy RV Park in a Motorhome.

New management of park is keeping it tidy. Swimming pools are clean and kept up. Restaurant is open in the evenings with limited hours and week ends. Has free pool tables and local bar on site. Karaoke music on Fridays. This is an older established park, lots of trees, some permanent residents. Wi-Fi is limited to those closest to the General Store. Wi-Fi is free, just ask for the password at the store. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would use this RV park again. Tom's Farm touristic area is close by. This appears to be an older RV park which at one time was probably worth a visit as it has fairly complete facilities which are now showing their age with a great deal of deferred maintenance. Has a restaurant (closed for business) a small bar, pools, hot tub, tennis courts (in disrepair) laundry facilities (which are outdoors but covered) and more. NO WiFi and limited basic cable TV. RV'ers with satellite may find the wealth of large old trees an issue if your dish is fixed. There are also a good many permanent residents in older RV's. According to at least one board member, they have a problem with rent collection. Anyone who takes pride in the looks of their RV and tries to keep it clean and shiny is advised to avoid this park or at least make sure you leave before leaf blowing day. The sites here are not paved and accordingly there is a thick coating of loose dirt and dust everywhere, so when the leaves get blown it rises into a dust storm like the Midwest dust bowl era. Settling on cars, trucks and RV's alike and the management could not care less. We camped at Glen Ivy RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here two nights. This is an old RV park. Has many old trailers that look like they are here full time. The park was clean but still old. The staff was outstanding. We came in after dark after we had registered earlier in the day and a member of the staff came to our site and asked if we needed any help hooking up. This is not a resort, but I would stay here again. We camped at Glen Ivy RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were attracted by the two swimming pools given that the temperature at the time exceeds 100 degrees each day. There is also a child's wading pool. There is no jacuzzi. Out of 30 deck lounge chairs only three were usable. All others had rotted long ago and the straps were missing. The deck tables equally unmaintained. There are many old, decrepit trailers that dot the park. All the sites are dirt. One shower has been closed for repairs for a long time. Permanent residents walk their dogs on the little grass there is and do not clean up after their animals. We would never stay here again. We camped at Glen Ivy RV Park in a Tent Trailer.

Visiting with USA Passport America membership in motor home. Office staff friendly and helpful. Has a few free wireless internet "hot spots" in the park. Restaurant has limited hours and full-time bar and pool room. Two swimming pools and hot water jacuzzi. During our stay one of the park residents shot two rounds, one hitting another trailer. Was shot by the Riverside County Sheriff's SWAT team. Everyone was helpful and offered their RV for us to stay in during the 9 hour incident. Residents bought us free drinks and snacks, and apologized for the incident. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. We camped at Glen Ivy RV Park in a Motorhome.
