We stay here every October to attend the dog show held at the fairgrounds. They have fixed up the buildings since our stay one year ago, but the sites remain the same. Uneven lumpy un-mown grass with a zillion flies. No fire ring or picnic table. These sites should go for $35-$40 per night, not $65. As we were getting ready to pull out the last morning, I was taking a shower when the water pressure went from very low to none at all. Turned out that the City of Pleasanton was doing work on the water lines; there would be no water for two hours. They neglected to tell anyone this; supposedly the City didn't tell them, but that's pretty unlikely. They did allow us to stay later than the check out time, until the water was on, so we could flush tanks, etc. - MarvMarvs

The RV park is located within the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA. The park has back-in and pull through full hook up sites. The driveways are asphalt and site pads are either grass or dirt/gravel. There's nothing special here but it's quiet with plenty of open space within the fairgrounds. There is WiFi which we found to be generally good and reliable. The bathrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. There's plenty of nearby shopping and there is a BART station not far away in Dublin. We paid $50.50 per night for a 50amp back-in site. - Coopsecondact

Other reviewers have provided comments that I can second regarding side by side hooks, narrowness of sites, etc. Visually the "park" is a mess. They clearly do not enforce their 21 day max stay rule and many sites show "untidy" sites (and that is generous). The office staff was pleasant. It was quiet at night. I could only receive emails (not send) on their internet and have never encountered that before. Would we return, yes, reluctantly since it's the only game in town! - rncordy
