35 RV Parks near Gasquet, California
May 2018 - $55.00
This is a lovely wide open campground in the middle of Giant redwoods. You park on grass, and there is plenty of length. You may not find it necessary to unhook your tow vehicle. The owner is friendly and helpful, with site seeing ideas. This is also a great area for fishing! There is internet, but spotty, as it is Hughsnet. - sse
Aug 2016 - $45.00
For the facilities, it is a little over priced. The big draw is the wide open spaces and places for parking boats. I used a guide and do not have a boat. - Rocky 2

Stayed with a motor home group and used clubhouse. Very friendly, helpful personnel. Personnel are fishermen and have referrals for fishing guides and have clean, lighted fish cleaning station. Very fisher friendly.
Nice club house with ping-pong table.
RV park WIFI is very inadequate. Verizon phone coverage is marginal. ATT phone is spotty and not dependable. - cdouglas

There are several things about this park that should be mentioned. First; the park is very nice, clean and well setup. The view of the Klamath river is certainly a plus. On the negative side the turn you have to make coming into the park is very tight. If you are in a very long motorhome or fifth wheel trailer you will want to watch the turn carefully. Second; this website lists two different GPS coordinates. If used, one will place you fifteen miles further down the 101 near the Lady Bird Johnson Meadow and if you are in a large motorhome it could present a problem. Other than that the park is very nice and worth the money. - Bank

Nice location right on the river. Friendly staff. Well maintained. Nice trail for dogs. Flat sites , good have hookups. WiFi's weak and slow. Sites bunched together with no trees. Lots to do in the area. Make sure you go to the end of the road to visit Klamath beach. - DickeyG

Very well run campground in a beautiful river setting. Escorted to our site with an explanation of the facilities and surrounding area. SAT usable most sites with very good cable as well. Internet slow but usable for the most part except during high demand evening hours when at times it was best to give up and try a few minutes later. 30A power good but watch voltage drops when demand rises. Nice coffee shop with pastries available every morning onsite. We stayed here because of the proximity to Redwood National and State Parks and all the hiking nearby and were not disappointed. This very nice campground was a bonus so we extended our stay to a week. - ex777driver

The park is very clean and beautiful. It has lovely walking trails all around and hidden picnic spots everywhere to have a lovely romantic meal. It is right across the street from the Ocean. The trails lead right to it and there is no busy traffic to cross. On the slightly negative side, the spots are a little close for my comfort, however, nothing like I have seen. - BNK

Very nice park with good beach access. Looked like some upgrades had been done to paths and asphalt parking pads at each site. Hedges had been pruned severely so less privacy than before pruning but not a big issue. Would avoid spaces around playground unless you have children. - tfemaker

This was another great state park to stay in. We weren't fortunate enough to land one of the first dozen or so sites with ocean views, but we still enjoyed our stay here. Backing into our site was a little tricky as the road is rather narrow and the tow vehicle across the way was parked in such a manner that made it difficult. With a little work we were able to get settled. Shrubs between each site seem to provide privacy despite everyone actually being quite close. We were in loop D, which is closer to the road, but didn't seem to notice any significant road noise. As others have stated, beach access is down a steep incline but seemed to have ample parking each time we went down. The beach is great! There were some tide pools a little ways off on the right-hand side that we spent a lot of time exploring one day. There is a really cool nature trail that winds through the campground. Great way to go 'exploring' yet never really leave the campground. - RMKKPark

We only stayed one night. When I reserved Brookings RV Park by phone, the woman I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. The man who checked us in seemed very unfriendly to me, though my husband said he was okay. The park is mainly filled with permanent tenants. We did not use the showers or wifi or anything at Brookings as most of our time was spent at another nearby park where our daughter was staying. The park was fine for an overnight stop, but seemed a little high priced for what it was. - GeneaGeek

I read the review from "firedguy" posted back in 2010. The place couldn't have been in such bad condition seven years ago and still be bad... wrong!!! Seems like only a couple of over nighter spots left in the center of the park. 90% permanent, rundown rigs, with all of their "stuff" under and around the rigs. The cats are still running around wild, one of the perms next to us in an awesome older RV (read as almost flat tires and lots of rust) informed my wife that our dog would end up dead if she let him run loose? And lets not forget the constant din coming from the wood mill right next to this rv park. Just loud enough to be annoying unless you have ear buds in, or turn the TV up. BTW WiFi was good. and able to get 7 OTA channels. Keep Driving... Rather than stay at this park again...I'd drive up to Gold Beach 60 miles away if there was nothing else available in Brookings. - Mobeywon
Sep 2013 - $32.00
We love this little RV park. Manager/owners are extra nice...We have stayed here for quite a few times over the last few years and this will always be our favorite in the area. We are in a 24 ft motorhome, but did stay here years ago in a 40ft. Not a problem. Some permanents way in the back, but quiet and clean. Nice little club house also. Will always stay here as we travel through. - Rpopeye
