This park is very tight to move an RV around in. If you have a TOAD, you should disconnect outside of the park. They do have a location inside but it tight getting to it. This applies more to dollies than flat towing as you will scrub your tires getting in here. This park is very dusty. It dust looks like sand but it is dirty and if you have a dog, plan on having that brought in each time your dog enters your home. The employees are friendly and helpful. The sites are tight and you have to pick out your own. They are always the worse ones as campers will move into the better ones as previous campers move out. Like a lot of thousand trails, it also appears that people save slots for each other, as when you pull in they tell you-you can camp at any open site unless it has a paper saying that it is taking or has someone's items left there as if they left. The interstate is 100 yards away and on the opposite side of that is a major thoroughfare for freight trains. Trains go by every 20 minutes or so. the one good thing is there are no crossings so they do blow their horn all the time. Sites are just large enough to handle large homes but not parking. This is a very small overcrowded park. I will probably not stay here again. - TekManiac

We ended up staying extra days due to illness and lucked out as the park is full this time of year. Persistence calling TTrails got an extension. Upon arrival the park was overgrown in many RV sites with tall weeds, some RV spaces had loose rutted sand, many were not very level, and are very close together under the Palms. Power was a little low at times and we had to keep an eye on it. You must be very careful to avoid driving over the sewer inlet. Marked with red posts but ours was only a few inches high. Somehow we lucked out and had one of the better leveled sites. Crew was was working on cleaning it all up but looked shabby for Palm Springs. - cba
Jan 2019 - $1.00
1st time back in 5 years. Still a nice place to stay right off I-10. Level sandy pull thru 30 amp and backin 50 amp full hookup sites. Pretty closely spaced so caution is needed in bigger rigs. Nice amenities and activities. Will stay here again. - teepee51
Jan 2018 - $1.00
The campsites in this park are pretty small; it's an RV resort in an urban setting. With that in mind, Palm Springs Oasis was a terrific stay for us. We loved being close to town, and everyone in the park was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and required a key to access; the bath house was clean. The laundry room and grounds were too. It's a small RV resort with tight spaces; the location can't be beaten though. - ppalmer21
Jan 2018 - $64.00
This RV park has tight spaces, the only outside space you have is behind your tow vehicle or towed which is parked close to the left of your RV. But worse than that--I saw no RV site that was level. Most Class A's had their front wheels 3-6 inches off the ground. And fifth wheels have it even worse if their sewer connection is not at the rear--bring lots of leveling blocks for the hose! I had to buy a 10 pack at WM and I could have used more. Other than that--it is ok. Getting Satellite coverage was good in most spots used a few more to make it level and keep my front wheels supported. I doubt an over 40' rig with 3 slides and a towed would fit. - TedM

One night stay. very close & tight. - Ronzo Rig
Mar 2019 - $60.00
The park is very pretty. The pools and spas are wonderful. The check in was easy. Those are the good points. The first spot we were at was #984 way in the back of the park, really far from the pools and spas unless you have a golf cart or bring a car the walk was ridiculous. We asked for a spot closer to the pools. It was #263 it was across from the pools, great, the problem here was the unbearable smell of some type of chemicals. according to the neighbors they sprayed Round Up. It had to be a lot of Round Up because the smell didn't go away. We had to leave early because of this problem. Couldn't change spots again because the office closes at 5 pm and doesn't reopen until 10 am. Very disappointed. Don't bother getting the super deluxe spots the only difference between them and the regular spots is a table and chairs and a little spot of artificial grass. Plus way too far from the pools. - Daisy 5
Jun 2018 - $47.00
Disappointed! This is a beautiful park with 1,o3o spaces yet the majority are park models. We squeezed into the spot they gave us (had to unhook the tow first) and there were no other RVs on the east side. Felt really out of place. Drove down to their restaurant and had a burger. We were the only ones there. Guess I should have made sure it said "RV" Resort. - Possumvalleybrndr
Apr 2018 - $26.00
They worked to find a spot that would fit our long (65') rig. It was a very nice site with a wash behind us. The problems with the resort is that it is meant mostly for staying in a park model. The streets are narrow, so parking a longer rig is difficult. We had a problem with our cable connection. Calling the office didn't solve the problem, so they promised a repair person would come out to fix the problem. The repair person never showed. - Raquel
Nov 2018 - $30.00
Very nice resort and a good bargain at the PA rate. Its a ways out of town, so mostly a place to come and stay - nothing nearby. That does make it nice and quiet, though. The pool and spa area is beautiful, and the mineral pools are quite nice. I wasn't too crazy about the golf "course," but if you know in advance its just a pitch and putt, you won't be disappointed. The major detractor is that its a seriously windy area. I was lucky that I only have a slide on one side, and the wind was coming from the other side; otherwise, I would have had to put my slide in for much of the stay. The wifi was good, Verizon signal strong, and there is lots of over the air tv. The rate actually includes free cable TV, but you have to get a remote from the office and the set up is a little complicated. They offered to send someone out to my site to set it up, but I declined, as I wouldn't be there that long. The site itself was sand, mostly level, and very easy to back into. However, I saw many sites there that would have presented some back in challenges, and that were very unlevel. If you have the opportunity when you arrive to check out sites in advance, I recommend it, given the wide disparity in levelness of sites and ease of entry. The office is not open Sundays and holidays. I arrived on a holiday, but they gave me very good instructions on how to check in both on the phone and in a follow up email. The office staff was very friendly. The locals, not so much. Actually, they weren't unfriendly, they just acted like I wasn't there. It was a little bizarre. - KAP99
Sep 2018 - $29.00
We were put into what we guessed was a pull through site (that was the only way we could get in) which was totally unsuitable for a big diesel pusher. It was loose sand, couldn't really level, no information given on the site. While I realize this was a weekend, I told them we had a big diesel pusher (40 ft) and that doesn't seem to matter. Roads are extremely narrow - workmen around doing renovations with trucks/trailers parked in the middle of roads, etc. We will never, ever, stay at this place again. - PugetSound
May 2018 - $29.00
This was our second stay. The only negative was with their office staff. They were pleasant and helpful but their reservation procedures need much work. This time they had my reservation transposed with another person with the same last name but different first name. Our first site assignment was where a mobile home has been and not conducive for a travel trailer. Then the second site was next to another camper when there were at least 20 open sites without neighbors. Other than those two problems, again we had a great time. This location is mainly park homes with several sites available for RV guests. Very quiet for a Memorial Day weekend, 'cause this is a 55+ location. No rowdy people and inconsiderate people passing through our site. The pool and spas are naturally heated by mineral hot springs and was very soothing. It was a little windy but enjoyed the wind, quail and jackrabbits. Streets were a little narrow but we made it OK. The site was hard dirt and a little pad where to place your steps. Utilities were good, the cable TV required a converted box available at the office. Very minimal traffic noise. The residents were mostly friendly. Again we really enjoyed our selves and will return again. - SD75mac
Jun 2018 - $1.00
This was an adventure! It was difficult to navigate the road up the mountain to get into with a 28'. I would definitely suggest daytime driving. The problem is the whizzers around the curve. We drove through Idyllwild on the way back and this was a lot easier to maneuver. The park itself is a challenge to find easy spots to get into, but it was worth the challenge. It is an interesting park being tucked up in the mountains and the trip to Idyllwild is definitely a must. The people are so friendly and dog friendly shops. We did lose the top of our fridge vent so be remember where you go go into you must come back out of. No internet except for the laundry areas. Take plenty of quarters. - ralinda
May 2015 - $1.00
I was one night at this park. It happened to be fogged in so I did walk the area, I could only see about 200 feet.
My site was nice, and spacious in the woods. I was next to a long term renter.
This entire park is nestled in the woods, among trees and boulders. Driving through here in a big RV or with a big trailer is not for the faint of heart. My 24 foot van was no problem.
The road in is a pretty steep hill.
The Rangers that checked me in were very friendly and offered plenty of good advice about navigating the many roads in the park. - StormRunner
Oct 2014 - $1.00
Nice wooded park. We were up top near the pool in a nice 50 amp site. Park was fairly empty because it was starting to get cooler. Many things to do in the area and casino's aren't too far away. We enjoyed our week long stay. - acampingfan
Apr 2019 - $77.00
Paved roads made it excellent for bike riding. All sites are paved & level. Good water pressure. Utility connections are very close and worked well. WiFi is not the best. Verizon is a strong signal here in the Coachella Valley. Staff is cordial and helpful. Large park with three swimming pools. We like this park. - SteveDahl
Apr 2019 - $77.00
Beautiful park! Very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. There is mostly permanent and snow birds here. We only stayed one night. The site was rather small, but long enough that I didn't have to unhook. Very nice park, and I wouldn't mind staying there for an extended period, but the price was pretty steep for one night! Maybe the monthly is more in line. - alcomechanic
Jan 2019 - $70.00
This is an older park that has been taken over by Sun resorts. There is a mix of of all types and years of RV's, mobile homes and park models. Most of the park seems to be populated with a mix of full timers and snow birds. It is well maintained park but is showing it's age. The check in was easy and the staff was very friendly. Our pull through site was a little tight but the hookups worked fine. Although, Sun Resorts is in the process of making many changes and upgrades, the rate they are charging now is overpriced compared to other parks in the area. - Recycled
Nov 2007 - $1.00
After trying to call Bob's RV Roundup for several days and getting only a busy signal, we drove by it today. The campground is closed and fenced off; it looks like they are tearing out the sites. - Ray Z
Mar 2007 - $33.00
Convenient park for overnight or short-term stays. Sites are close together but pull-throughs are easily accessible, even for big rigs. Most of the back-in sites around the perimeter appeared to be occupied by long-term residents. Sites are mostly grass with a small concrete patio area. Bathrooms/showers are small and old. The gentleman who works in the office was very friendly and helpful when making reservations on the phone and when checking in. - Ray Z
Aug 2006 - $25.00
Not a bad park (has lots of pull throughs), but not a destination, either. Good for a night to squeeze in among the many permanent residents for an overnight sleep and be on your way in the morning. Good cable TV, 30 and 50 amp. service, water and sewer. Just far enough from I-10 not to be noisy, but close enough to jump back on quick. We'd stay here again for an overnighter. - Scott & Karen
Jan 2019 - $112.00
This park is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The site I got was fabulous - privacy hedges on both sides, an upscale patio furniture set and a complete outdoor kitchen (instructions said these can only be used by renters "in season"), deeper and wider than a typical site. There was a fair amount of slope, and I saw this at other sites too. Most sites had all these amenities, but a few did not. It is expensive, but not much more than if you reserve a deluxe site at some other places, and here nearly all the sites are that nice. The customer service was excellent. The permanent residents were not friendly, almost rude. There is no wifi or cable, which is not acceptable when you're paying this much. Also, they do not allow use of satellite TV systems unless they are roof mounted. While most of the place is beautifully landscaped, the pool area has no landscaping at all - looks like they just ran out of money. The rate I paid included the resort fee which, oddly, included use of the golf course but not fitness classes - they were extra. The golf course was a disappointment - not a true par 3, and you can play the whole thing with two or three clubs. It's a shame they didn't just put in a true Par 3 nine hole course, and then use the extra space for some short game practice areas. I doubt I'll return, as I mainly stayed here to play golf, but it is definitely worth it for those who want to pay extra for a really nice site. - KAP99
Mar 2016 - $137.00
This is an extremely high end RV Resort. We stayed at a Gold Site by the Golf Course. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because they do not have WiFi. Not at all. These sites are all owned and they rent them out when the owners at not here, (the owners get some of the rental money). Our site was the best we have ever had. They had outside BBQ, Stove, Refrig, serving area, large patio table with 6 chairs, lounge chairs and more. Just beautiful. If you can afford it, this is a must do at least once. - RVpartyanimal
Nov 2015 - $105.00
This place is over priced for what you get. I get it, many of the folks here own their site and come and go as they please but in quiet times they rent out their sites. The park had many empty spaces in November and I suppose they get busier after Christmas.
We stayed 4 nights and found this place lacking on several fronts. We stayed in site 104, okay site but worth about 2/3rds of what they charge. Sewer smell....not good at all. On calm nights one would think a place of this caliber would have this under control. Not so. WiFi. Such a simple promise and such a simple service to deliver. It worked for about 2 hours on Monday morning. That's it. The front end promised that they called someone. Didn't work on Tuesday or Wednesday. The minute you check in they pre-authorize a $25 cleaning fee in the event you leave a drop of oil on the pad when you leave! The outdoor kitchen at our site was in sad shape, didn't use it.
If you want to pay the price, your call but plenty of options in the area which are better value....enjoy. - hrw
May 2019 - $35.00
This is, in my opinion, the very best RV park facility we have ever visited. Great everything - hookups, swimming pool, restaurant, security, friendliness, golf course, boating, landscaping, cleanliness, etc. - Nelsonfamily
Nov 2018 - $187.00
Simply beautiful. All sites are individually designed by their owners and the restaurant onsite is outstanding. We had a lobster dinner while we were there and it was great! The only downside is this park is not really very dog friendly. Most all the sites have signage warning dogs away, and there are just a few places you can take your dog. - TomW
Jan 2017 - $140.00
Incredible resort! Great par 3 golf course, waterways for electric boats, pools, tennis, fitness center and 5 star restaurant. We renter for an entire season before we bought. Many lots have beautiful build outs with enclosed living areas. Be advised they only allow newer class A RVs - Karens BAM
Mar 2018 - $25.00
Typical Elks. Gravel galore. Water electric plus dump station. But would return for an overnight. - User3119
Feb 2017 - $22.00
Elks members only. Reservations accepted. Helpful hosts provided assistance with backing into site. All sites are back-in. 30 amp electric and water only, but there is a dump on site. We stayed one night, so I'm not sure if there is a maximum stay limit. Active friendly lodge. - 15243
Mar 2016 - $22.00
We stay at this Elks Lodge every time we are in the area for a few days. Primarily because it is close to people we are visiting, close to activities we enjoy, and you can't beat the price! The hosts are always very friendly and accommodating. It is asphalt/gravel parking and the spots are pretty close together. We have a 40 foot rig and have never had a problem finding a spot that works. We will stay there again next trip. - Sally Chew
