Stop over night. All gravel roads and spaces but not dusty. Some shade, certainly enough yet still get DirectTV. Neighbors close but cry typical in most parks. Clear clean air with great views of the Sierra's to the west and desert to the East. Roads are plenty wide and turns clear. We would stay here again. We camped at Boulder Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice staff. We stayed here for two nights and stayed here for one night last year. Our site was pretty level and the the sites were very near to each other, but not an issue. The park has very nice view of Mt. Whitney, the tallest mountain in continental USA. We camped at Boulder Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Go to the Manzanar WWII Japanese/American detention camp, which was very sad and depressing, but it did happen and we were glad we went to see what was left of the camp. On a positive note go to the Western Film Museum very interesting and brings back lots of good memories.

Check in was smooth and the guys at the desk were fine, but busy and not overly friendly. We were assigned site N-1, which is right next to the highway in a dusty parking lot. There are some small trees and a picnic table, along with full hookup. We were 10' from the next RV and that was all we could see from our window. They advertise free WIFI, but the signal is so weak that none of our devices would hook up. This park is far too expensive for what is provided. If you are assigned to the North Loop, I would ask to be reassigned or simply move on down the road. I would not stay here again. We camped at Boulder Creek RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This was a wonderful RV park. Plenty of trees to to make the summer heat more tolerable. The RV spots are wide with room to park a vehicle. The power issue reported in other posts did not affect us. We had 50 amp service and full hookups. The park has a small grocery store that makes it convenient. The club house is more like a museum with lots of history about the area. It's air conditioned, too, so that helps during the heat. The Wi-Fi was not too bad, but Air tv was sparse. I would definitely stay here again if I'm back this way! They also have a pool and hot tub. Everything is well maintained and kept clean. We'll worth the cost! We camped at Boulder Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

While here, be sure to go to the "Alabama Hills", an area of huge holders where numerous western movies were filmed. It will definitely make you recall a few old western that you've seen. It's just a mile or so west of Line Line and costs nothing. Also, while you're on the main road heading west out of Line Pine, keep driving to the end of the road and see a wonderful waterfall and My Whitney! Well worth it!

The park is a desert type of setting with level parking areas, well laid out and spots are easy to identify. The major issue is the address that is correct but apparently most GPS units identify the location as 25 miles south of the actual park location. Remember that the park is located just a tiny bit south of Lone Pine on the east bound side of highway 395. There is another address with the same numbers and highway identification located way south of the tiny burg of Olancha and there is a small campground near by, but not the one we were booked into. Don't trust the GPS on this issue. We really liked this campground and its one of the nicer ones we've stayed at. We camped at Boulder Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Boulder Creek RV Resort. It is located right off Hwy 395, just south of the nice little town of Lone Pine, with a spectacular view of Mount Whitney. Check-in was quick and the roads in the campground are paved and wide enough for all sizes of RVs. Sites are nicely spaced with trees between them. Hookups are conveniently located near the middle of the site. Water pressure was good. There is a nice sized convenience store in the office and free coffee and muffins every morning. We camped at Boulder Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Busy place with lots of folks "camping" for several days. Many with off-road vehicles. Roads are paved with gravel sites. Utilities are centrally located and convenient. Cable TV worked good, although very few channels. Wi-Fi worked, although slow during peak hours. Best dog run area we have seen in an RV Park. Many cities would be envious. Big, clean, with lots of shade or sun for your pooch to enjoy. Staff is friendly and check-in is well organized and fast. Except for an incessantly smokey camp fire next door, and the roar of AF jets overhead in the morning, we had a great stay. We camped at Boulder Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice RV Park near Big Pine. Right on Hwy 395, but some sites are a ways back. Good services. After driving all day, We were looking forward to soaking our tired muscles in spa. The brochure they gave us said "winter hours 7a.m. To 8 p.m." We got ready walked over & pool/spa area was already closed at 7p. Saw the young man who checked us in and we asked him about closing time. He said we basically close when we're done. Not happy about that, but it is one of the better campgrounds in winter. We camped at Boulder Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The gem is an oasis in the desert. The office is right up front as soon as you pull in, and check-in was fast and efficient. The park is big rig friendly with easy in and out access. The roads are paved and the sites are crushed rock. There is a western themed social area next to a kids' play area and a small store in the office. There's a very large pet run. Sites are wide and hook-ups are conveniently placed even if you pull all the way forward so you don't have to unhook. I would definitely return to this park We camped at Boulder Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed 3 nights in a 40 foot fifth wheel. Wish I could have stayed longer. This is a very large, well maintained, beautiful park in an excellent location in the Eastern Sierras. You will have a beautiful view of the mountains with easy access to Mt Whitey hiking and the Bristle Cone Pine forest. The staff were nice and friendly but the young lady who checked us in did not seem to understand RVs. I know...odd, but. So we were assigned to a "drive in" site which is really meant for Class As...as noted, we are in a fifth wheel. She said yes you can pull in and then disconnect. I reminded her that we were in a fifth wheel but she still didn't get it. Then I talked to another team member and he assured me that the utilities were in the middle of the spot and we could drag them under if we wanted. We always carry plenty of hoses and electric so that is what we did. I also thought that the site was very narrow. In their attempt to beautify they added trees, which is great, but then you have even less room on an already narrow site. If we were to fully extend our awnings we would have shaded our neighbors car and our steps were right on the line. Other sites were a bit wider. Wish we could have stayed longer as there is so much to do in this area. We camped at Boulder Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit and hike Mt Whitney. Lone Pine lake is a 2.5 mile challenging hike that is suitable for those in reasonable shape. The trails to the mountain peak are much more challenging. Visit Horseshoe Meadows. The road is across the street and you can see ti zigging up the mountain side. Visit Bristle Cone Pine forest and do the entire hike.

Oh, boy. This is a favorite. This was our second stay here. I think the people who run it are very nice and helpful (they gave us an adapter for the cable wire, no charge) and the sites are fair sized and level. Easy pull throughs and utility access. Very nice clubhouse and pool. Our dogs loved the fenced run, bigger than most and well-kept with fresh water and bags at both ends. We camped at Boulder Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.
