1 RV Park near Lost Hills, California
Nov 2018 - $44.00
The park was essentially open with no discernible outbuilding features. I understand it is in transition to a KOA. When we stayed the office was closed, and we called to receive our parking assignment. There is nothing here at the park other than full hookups and openness. Nearby there is a Pilot travel center, but nothing else. It was an easy on/off the freeway however. - TomW

This place is now a KOA and the transition phase is pretty ugly. Dusty dirt roads and pads. Very little shade on a very hot area. The dog park is a joke - just a fenced pile of dirt and dust in which our dog found a number of pieces of garbage and construction materials. The front office woman was very nice but seemed a bit overwhelmed. Seemed like there were a number of people living in the park which didn't used to be the case. We had a strange man walk up to us while we were bbqing who said he lived nearby. Lots of fast food nearby if that's your bag. There is also a newly installed large pond behind the back fence which may bring in the mosquitoes, but has lots of birds. If you need someplace on highway 5 there's not much else around. OK for 1 night. - User3011

Excellent customer service by phone and in person at the front desk. This was a quick overnight stay on our way to the Sacramento area. It's a 4 hour drive from our home in Orange County. Sites are dusty but level. Ours was a pull-thru to accommodate our 40' RV and toad. Plenty of services nearby, Carl's Jr., Taco Bell, McDonald's, Denny's plus several gas stations and a Love's Diesel stop. Cheaper diesel gas is available at a small station on the east side of the freeway. RV wash is available next door for $1.25 per ft. Lots of improvements going on. Plenty of roadside amenities. This campground is transitioning to a KOA. Several photos attached. - AlnDeb
