We stayed 3 nights labor day weekend - Thurs, Friday and Sat night. We got there and it was pretty, empty, and had a clean and beautiful lake. We were in the back of the loop near the bathroom. It was on the inside of the loop but VERY spacious. Alot of room for the kids and dogs. Plenty of swim areas do where you aren't surrounded by other people. Easy access for kayaking. And a very nice walking trail (paved for wheelchairs). However Friday and Saturday night were not so nice. Friday filled up fast, and our neighbors were obnoxious. Kids running rampant screaming and yelling all hours of the night. Their dogs were not tied off and came into our camp with our kids and dogs MULPITLE times. The adults were drinking from morning to night and puking in the bushes. They were loud and had music on all night, waking my kids multiple times. The bathrooms were clean when we got there, but were never checked on the whole time we were there, and with a bunch of drunk neighbors they got dirty fast. The host did nothing even after multiple complaints from 3 different camp sites. Due to this experience we won't be back. Which is sad because it really is a beautiful lake. It's hard to enjoy yourself with no sleep. NO ELECTRIC OR WATER ON SITES. DRY CAMPING ONLY There are water spigots you can walk to for water. Make sure to bring what you need, no shop on site. And a bit of a drive to the closest gas station/store. Great for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, walking and fishing. You can also ride a bike around camp, but not on the lake trail. Super dog friendly, but please keep your dogs on a leash, especially if they wonder off! We camped at Juanita Lake Campground USFS in a Tent Trailer.

This is a small but very nice campground on Juanita Lake. It is a forest service campground with a CG host who's extremely nice and takes care of unruly or overly loud people quickly. There is a day use area also. You can fish in the lake, you can swim. No motor boats allowed but you can raft or canoe. We have a 36 ft MH and only found 3 spots we could fit. The spaces are shaded and nicely spaced apart. There is wildlife in the area. We saw an bald eagle while we were there. There is a short distance of gravel road but its doable and the road narrows in spots but going slow you have no problem. We will go back. We camped at Juanita Lake Campground USFS in a Motorhome.
