Very good urban park with all that implies: easy access to city attractions; tight parking; pricey, some thefts. Well-kept swimming pool, exercise room, kitchen facilities and lounge. Excellent office and maintenance staff. No picnic tables or fire pits. Management very helpful when an off-site injury forced us to stay an extra month. We camped at Walnut RV Park in a Motorhome.

We arrived 15 minuets before the 1pm check in time and management was not thrilled about that. Sites are tight together but very clean. We parked our tow vehicle in the spaces by the office because if we parked it next to the motorhome we would not have had a patio space to use. We camped at Walnut RV Park in a Motorhome.

What a nice place! More expensive than many but the location was worth the extra expense. We stayed six nights while visiting family in the area. This is an urban setting but it felt safe. The sites are close but hey- it's LA- so are the houses. Some sites had shade from large trees. Ours did not. Everything was clean and well maintained. The pool area. and indoor common areas are spotless. The laundry was bright, clean, and had new machines. They had the capability of using an app on the phone to pay for washers and dryers- no coins! Loved it. Staff was helpful and courteous. We will return. We camped at Walnut RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

A nice clean park with a great location for Touring Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley. Very helpful staff, pricey, but you’re paying for cleanliness and location. Tv unavailable over air, but no cable at this price is not really good. Otherwise, highly recommend. We camped at Walnut RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great park for short term stay, near fashion mall, close to Cal State. We enjoyed park and will return in October. Many thanks to office staff who are available 24 hours / 7 days. Very safe clean park, some residents who were long term have been forced to leave the park making huge improvement. New owner renovated and changed park from Mobil home to RV park, so the old tenants gone. Many fake stories about shooting and crime on Yelp are lies form angry tenants who new owner forced out. We camped at Walnut RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lovely city space. Large gravel spots, great clean pool, bathroom could use some updating but was fine. Laundry reasonable priced. Really nice staff. Recreation room with pool table and foosball, library, community kitchen. It is a busy RV park, if you are close to the entrance you will hear car noise, but not obtrusive. This is a park in transition. Many long-time residents are being moved out to accommodate newer rigs at higher rates. Long term guests must sign a lease and agree to 15 pages of rules. The park is clean; the restrooms, while small, are clean and tidy. The laundry room could use some updating. The clubhouse is spacious but dull and poorly used. The pool was not open while we were there. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They do their best to provide a clean and quiet environment. Most long-term folks here are working people, so the park is largely empty during the daytime. We camped at Walnut RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The one thing you do NOT have when staying in the LA area is choice. You come here for a safe place to park and hookups for your RV while you're going out to see the sights of LA.

We stayed in the front, and there is a LOT of traffic noise from sun up to midnight. It actually quiets down overnight, but when it's happening, it's loud. And there are a LOT of sirens. And trains.

There are quite a few long term renters who seemed nice and the place was clean and well-kept.

It's "pet friendly," but we were told not to let our dog go anywhere in the RV park. There is a strip of grass out front that pets use (on the high traffic street) or you can walk a couple of blocks to a park in the area.

The laundry was $1.50 a wash (top load) and $1.25 to dry (front load). The sites are gravel and wide enough for your RV and to park a vehicle, and our site was JUST long enough for our 40' RV. No tables or patio. There is a pool, laundry room, clubhouse. We were here a week and never saw anyone use the pool, and it needed to be cleaned.

The Wi-Fi worked but was SLOW, and from the other reviews I'm guessing we got a signal because we were near the clubhouse. We camped at Walnut RV Park in a Motorhome.

Costco and Vons are 4 minutes away. We recommend Fishbowl Poke for some delicious deconstructed sushi. We went to Universal Studios, La Brea Tar Pits and The Hollywood Farmers Market (Sunday mornings) while we were here.

Maybe we have stayed in too many nice campgrounds but I cannot agree with the comments of others. Even though the sites are wide they are very short. We had to back our 36 ft into a site and maneuver it past the other rv backed in from the other side an over lap of about 5 ft. We were lucky that the pole that was on the site before was removed because the gentleman next door said we wouldn't have gotten in before.
The price was pretty high especially since there was no cable and the only WiFi is in the clubhouse.
We only used this as a one night stop to visit the Ronald Reagan Library. Probably won't stay again. We camped at Walnut RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for 4 days. Office staff was pleasant upon registration. We were left alone and not bothered by staff which was very nice. Just a nice clean park. RV spaces are decent sized and didn't have any trouble getting into it. Park is Convenient to shopping accessibility. Although it is right off a main road (not hwy), it is well hidden. In fact, we missed the turn several times. Once you are in there, it's like a comfortable oasis. We camped at Walnut RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here one night while passing thru LA. Note: options are extremely limited for RV sites in the LA area so this is about as good as it gets if you want to be in this part of town. Definitely be prepared for LA freeway traffic. All back in spaces with good width to park vehicle beside unit. Little bit tight for backing in if your rig is 35 ft or longer. All utilities worked fine and tengointernet worked OK. No character to the campground, just a place to park to visit the area. Make reservations since only a few spots are available for folks just passing through. We camped at Walnut RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice wide site. Was lucky to get in as they only have 10 transient sites. Lots of monthly renters in very nice RV's. Monthly rate is $750 and our weekly rate was $275. Very clean campground and nice heated pool. At this rate and location you can not beat the value any where in the LA area. We camped at Walnut RV Park in a Motorhome.

Established park in a suburban setting. Mostly long-term stays with a few sites for us short-timers. Paved roads, gravel sites. Nice clubhouse. Expect a bit of the neighborhood noises (garbage trucks on Saturdays, a passing train in the far distance, etc. ...NOT deal-breakers, but normal sounds in a suburban setting). Shopping and restaurants nearby. (Hint: Be certain to request a site AWAY from the noisy buzzing above-ground electrical transformers... SITE #40 is directly adjacent to the noisy high-voltage transformers!). A bit spendy but scarcity of other RV parks and this convenient location justify the rate. We would return. This is our 2nd stay here. Very friendly and helpful owners. They "catered" our RV rally with very good food from their restaurant. As to the previous comment on the bathroom/shower facilities - they are remodeling that whole area in the main building. Always a pleasurable stay. And the pull-through site we had was spacious. We stayed here in a motorhome. We camped at Walnut RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park is very clean. Spaces are all back-in and relatively close, but enough room to get our trailer in and out. Rec room and pool areas are nice and clean. The park is close to shopping in the Northridge area. Laundry room facilities are good. Price per load on washer and dryers is $1.25. WiFi was a little slow in the evening when there was more usage. Management was friendly on check-in. There are a lot of long term residents, but that's to be expected with the lack of RV parks in the area. Nightly rate was a weekly rate of $275 with a 10% Good Sam discount plus tax. We would stay here again. We camped at Walnut RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
