Sites are extremely small and tight together. Some are very hard for larger rv rigs. Leash requirements are not enforced which is difficult for us who have pets on leash. People run or walk through others camps. Most likely will not come back here. - SullivanD
Nov 2016 - $38.00
The service was excellent. The site we were originally assigned was very tight so we asked for a different site, they were very accommodating and gave us a very nice larger site.
This is a nice place to stay overnight but there is nothing to do unless you have a boat or water toys. Traffic from the highway was a bit loud. We rode our bicycles around but nothing really appealing to see. would not recommend this park for off season family fun camping unless you want to go shopping at Costco or the outlet mall. - chaparral
Sep 2016 - $37.00
This is a rather strange place. I am not familiar with the area but ended up here when the places closest to San Diego that I was interested in were all booked. It is a very reasonably priced. It is virtually empty, except the for the full timers. On the holiday weekend the place filled completely.
The sites are not level. It seems that cable is available for an extra cost. The internet is just horrible. For many days it was not even available. They had to wait for the provider to show up after the weekend. The download rate is 1.61 mps. Upload is .46. Just awful. And I was just feet from the office.
After the holiday weekend it took several days for the garbage to be all collected as it was too much for the dumpsters. Instead of having extra pickups, they just keep filling the dumpster on regular pickups.
Overall I can't really recommend this place. But if you need a place to stay I would not dissuade you from coming. I felt safe and it is convenient to Costco, Walmart and other stores. - SonoraBob
May 2017 - $55.00
We booked for two nights as we were in town for a funeral. The manager checked us in and guided us to our site which was extremely small. It was surrounded by permanents which is fine. We then noticed some activity that was very unsettling. We spent a total of 1 hour there and baled out! This is a frightening place. We moved to another nearby RV park and had a nice stay. - ronman
Jul 2010 - $64.00
This park is an older mobile home park that has been very well kept. They cater primarily to weekly and monthly stay which are exceptionally reasonably priced. The sites are quiet, level, shaded and located close to all amenities. Streets are paved and lined with palms This park is ideally situated for campers undergoing treatment at the VA hospital or Loma Linda. It is about 2 miles from Interstates 215 and 10. i would strongly suggest calling for reservations if you will be arriving on the weekend or off business hours. It is an excellent location for exploring the Inland Empire and San Bernardino National Forest. Colton is a Railroad City & it is an easy drive to Cajon Pass. This park would also be a good stop before or after facing LA traffic on I-10. This was the first time we have ever stayed in an older Mobile Home Park & we completely enjoyed it. - travelnurse

Not really a full review after only 24 hours here, in the winter, but the campground is quiet and looks clean and well-maintained and I'd definitely return.
There are some things I wanted to mention because I did not see them elsewhere:
(1) Verizon service is good throughout the whole park.
(2) This park is not really in Banning itself, but 12 miles up the winding mountain road toward Idyllwild. Don't be fooled into thinking that this is not slightly scary to get to.
(3) Dig out your jack pads before you come, because the sites are asphalt (wish I'd planned ahead!)
(4) The sites are laid out in an unusual pattern, with groups of both back-in and pull-thru sites in short "nodes", with lots of grassy spaces between nodes. It strikes me that this is one of the best arrangements I've ever seen for family groups with multiple RVs, or small groups traveling together.
(5) The sewer connections are exactly 3" in diameter and threaded on the outside. I had nothing - including my 4-in-1 slip adapter - which would fit these. I guess you need a rubber seal connector and that's the only thing that works? Just come prepared.
As with Thousand Trails parks, you pick your spot. But when I called the office to give them my site number, they refused to take it over the phone. She said I had to give them that information in person?!
I have no toad and it's a long walk back, so I guess they'll have to live without it. That's been my only negative experience here. - Karen On The Road
Aug 2015 - $40.00
Very clean park with over 800 camping spots, two pools one for children and one for adults, bar, resturant and snack bars at each pool. I dont recommend camping here in August due to the heat. We will be back. - snarlin
Jul 2014 - $10.00
This is a membership park. It's in a great location, a huge campground, plenty of area for walking, lots of trees and grass, plenty of birds if you like to put out feeders, nice sized spaces with good wifi (for a fee). One of our favorite spots when in California. It's steep and winding getting to and from the park, but worth the trouble to get there. - NoPlaceLikeRoam
Oct 2017 - $55.00
Typical KOA, long enough , level site so we didn't have to unhook the tow. Dog park was ok but we thought our smallest dog might be able to get under one gate. Everything worked. The trains were noisy but typical for RV parks next to train tracks or highways or between them. I would stay there again - Go often
Mar 2017 - $45.00
Stayed here 2 nights in March. Nice park , well kept , on the edge of town , but very convenient for food and shopping. Nice folks with a great staff. Excellent sites that will only get better as the shrubs mature between them. We will definitely stay here again ! - DalenDeb
Oct 2016 - $45.00
We've stayed here before. It is located adjacent to a high school, on Friday nights you may experience football games. But it was not objectionable. When I called for the reservation, I was given space 70. Upon arrival (after the office was closed) we were switched to site 73. Arrived at site 73 to find it previously assigned to another RV. To solve this issue, we pulled into the best suited open site for us. I'm sure we took someone's assigned site. This location was quiet and a very few children running around. Utilities were acceptable, didn't try the pool, cable or WiFi. Our site didn't have large trees but most sites do. The sites are packed gravel and somewhat level. The streets are asphalt. The grounds were neat and tidy. The are was windy but not that bad. Just windy to not extend awnings.
We did enjoy sitting out in the evening and watching the wonderful sunsets and sunrises.
For a pull thru, the site was just long enough for a 30' TT. Had to park sideways and barely made it.
Overall, it was quiet and will return again. - SD75mac
Nov 2018 - $40.00
Excellent. Unfortunately they were removing some trees due to pine beetle infestation. . - Leisure Travelin Lockes
Jan 2018 - $37.00
This was our first stay at this county park and we were not disappointed. Nicely kept facility with spacious sites and good hookups. Located east of the city of Yucaipa in an area of rolling hills, the views from within the park are very nice Only negative for us was that we were unable to get satellite reception for news and other programming due to the many trees that block satellite reception. There are a few open sites without trees where reception would be received but the park was full up when we were there for a two day family visit. We are not big TV people by any means but we do watch the morning and evening news when traveling so this was a negative for us. Spaces are asphalt as are the interior roads and the scenery is very nice all throughout the entire park. Family friendly and no doubt a great place of kids as there is fishing and hiking, etc. and other fun things for them to do. We would stay here again as this is the best bet in in the general area.................. - BankShot
Aug 2017 - $35.00
This is a county park, campground. There are separate areas for RV', tents, and day use. Very clean well maintained with lawns and many sites have shade This is an urban park but very quiet and does a great job of separating and blocking view of nearby housing while offering great views of wild lands and mountains Park staff are knowledgeable of their facility and friendly. The park is within a few blocks of all kind of businesses, stores and restaurants There is a senior discount during the week. - Old Detective
Nov 2014 - $18.00
This campground is only for Elks members. The park is quiet, although it lies near the highway. The employees of the lodge are very friendly and helpful. They have 30 amps, water and wifi. The dump station is in front of the building. The key to the dump station is located in the office. Just a mile away there are supermarkets and other shops. We were happy here and would definitely come back. - Myrvisbig
Nov 2013 - $15.00
A members only park. RV parking is behind the lodge. There are many RV's in storage here (15 or so). The 5 transient spaces might be reservable with a phone call, though the Elks RV book doesn't indicate this. The book indicates a 2 week maximum stay; however, during our visit there were 3 rigs here with over a month in the same spot. We saw one other rig spend 1 night during our 5 night stay. It would appear that the lodge is flexible for whatever a person needs. Shopping is nearby. - Bucky Beaver
Aug 2017 - $1.00
This rv park is available to customers who are having work done at Redlands Truck & RV. This is not a public use park but for customers only. It is about a block from the shop and is gated. Very convenient. We have stayed here before when we have had work done. Perfect for fulltimers. Again, this is NOT a public use park. - Trafficdude
Dec 2018 - $38.00
The park is kept clean. We stayed a total of 9 days. We left after 7 days cause our coach was serviced at Redlands Truck and RV. They have their own RV Park which we stayed 2.5 days. We went back to Mission RV Park for 2 more nights. The first time we where behind the shower/bathroom/washroom space. This was very convenient. The other 2 nights, our space was in the back. It was very nice concrete instead of gravel. There many eateries and stores within walking distance. - TORTUGA GRANDE
Oct 2018 - $41.00
Nice park, handy to the Interstate. Shopping nearby, quiet, located next to an elementary school. Very snug, but not surprising and we had enough room for us and our toad. Utilities were handy. Bathroom Showers, and Laundry were clean and pleasant. - Rae & Mark
Aug 2018 - $38.00
The owners were very polite, their children too. They checked us in quickly and when we needed to stay an extra night, they accommodated us. They even changed our original back in spot to the one pull through they have. There is good shopping nearby, the park is close to the freeway but quiet. Would definitely stay here again. - Marian P

Jan 2014 - $45.00
We stayed at the park for over two months and paid a monthly rate of $300.00. The park is clean, well maintained, and the bathrooms or older but very clean. The park staff is accommodating & very helpful whether it is park related or if you wanted information on the area. We had to be in the Loma Linda area for two months and we chose this park because the sites have more space between sites and Wi-Fi at your site. The Wi-Fi was good. It did slow down in the evening, sometimes to a crawl, which is why I gave it a 9. This is pretty much a long term park. Overnight sites are available. Our site 7 was on the perimeter of the park and afforded us more privacy then most sites. Even with the freeway construction, the park is pretty quiet with little freeway noise and distant train. You are in a city, so some traffic noise is to be expected. Safe park with security gates. We would stay here again. - 10-10
Apr 2012 - $45.00
The name is now Terrace Village RV Park. This is a clean park with frequent distant train noise; especially at night. Sites are concrete, narrow, short, and not level. Most have a tree. Sites are separated by thin strips of grass. Roads are asphalt, narrow, and in very good condition. The Staff is friendly and helpful. Verizon data service works well. The mens room has two showers. One lacks a curtain between the shower and the dressing area. Water pressure is low. - wjzcbn
Sep 2011 - $50.00
Grand Terrace is just off the freeway close to Loma Linda. Seemed like a number of campers were there to be near family at the hospital. It's hard to find a decent place in east LA and this definitely fills the bill. Small, significant number of permanent residents, quiet but easy freeway access as well as close to grocery stores, etc. Would definitely recommend this as a safe base from which to explore east LA. - ldukeb
