Old park in need of upkeep. Sites are gravel and not level. Park does not accept credit cards! There is WiFi when requested but it is extremely slow. The electrical (30amp only) appears iffy - very low to the ground but does work - glad I have a surge protector. Sewer is uphill from the site. Lot of long term campers -more long term RVs than nightly it appears. We camped at Quail Trails Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for two nights for a wedding in Chico. It's convenient, and COULD be nice, but it's old, ill designed, and badly maintained. Sites are radically unlevel, requiring stands and full extensions on three of my four corner jackstands. Electrical outlet was very loose and located immediately under the water spigot. It's a shame really. The location is lovely, and the treed-covered sites, if leveled, are staircased up a hill. As it is, it's really pretty terrible, and the only thing that made it worthwhile was that this was only used for sleeping. The location is used primarily by long term renters. We camped at Quail Trails Village in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

The campground was like a park with tall trees. It is located on the side of a hill with terraces down the hills for the sites which I believe are all pull thrus. The power pedestals are way too short and the power receptacles don't have a breaker. I had to get down on my knees on the wet ground to plug in as the box is at ground level. The sewer hookup was about at the level of outlet on the trailer. There are some sections of the fence that need to be repaired and the park is lacking in general maintenance. The showers were clean but old and there wasn't any heat in the building. There is only 1 washer and 1 dryer but the price was reasonable, but once again there is no heat. We camped at Quail Trails Village in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There are lots of antique stores and thrift stores in Paradise. There are not too many rv parks in the area.

We planed to stay 2 weeks to visit relatives close by. When we finally found a site that was suitable, the owner was with us and kept asking about how many heaters we had. When it came time to hook up our 30A connection, he plugged it in. Later, I noticed our volt meter fluctuating and investigated. Found the female connector at the site was shot. Ended our stay! The sites we looked at were narrow and when you exited, you almost fell down a hill. Will never even consider recommending this Park! We camped at Quail Trails Village in a Tent Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Nice location, quiet and lots of shade in the trees. Our site was not too level, which made it hard to use the sewer hook up on the "uphill" side. The bathrooms were unpleasant and not clean. Lots of traffic up and down the entrance road. We will not return here. We camped at Quail Trails Village in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We got the 40' Diesel Pusher in, but just barely got it out. This is about as far off the freeway as you want to get. This park is old and set up for trailers, short ones at that. No wi-fi, no cable, no cell phone service. We wanted a very quiet place under the trees, but this was not what we were looking for. We camped at Quail Trails Village in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Quail Trails is a beautiful park, nestled among the trees in a spectacular part of the world. All the sites are pull-throughs, and all are wonderfully shaded by towering pine and oak trees. We really enjoyed our stay, and everyone at the park (staff and other guests) were warm and friendly. We had perfect weather while we were there (in November) and got to explore the area. Lots to see and do here. We camped at Quail Trails Village in a Motorhome.
