Jun 2007 - $42.00
Grass smelled like dog urine unfriendly staff. Very over priced and over rated! Would not recommend to anyone! - cyoung5
Jan 2019 - $20.00
Really tight for big rigs, uneven ground. Power a little scary but it worked. Will not return. - Buck44
May 2017 - $20.00
A small park, geared for seasonals. Just off the freeway, it's really a stop over on the way to someplace else. The regular price seems a little steep for what's offered. Noisy freeway on one side, busy train tracks right on the other. You'll have a hard time getting a sound sleep. Having said that, the people were friendly enough, the place clean. Ok value for the Passport America 50% discount. - Two Travellers
Nov 2016 - $20.00
Not a destination RV resort. Small, mostly monthly users, but they try to keep a few spots open for travelers. Stay a night, maybe two then move on. - John & Aleda
Apr 2017 - $45.00
We booked our reservation at this RV Resort in October 2016. We arrived at the resort at 3:00 p.m. on 4/29/17. The sign shows office hours of 10-4. The office was closed when we arrived. Rang the buzzer, no one answered. Called the after hours number. Woman who answered said she was in town and would be back in 10 minutes. When she arrived her appearance was less than business like even for a campground. She was courteous and explained they had experienced some flooding from the river and the ground was till drying out. We understood. She offered us site 44 and it was a good thing we took it as site 43 still had standing water in it. When we got out of our rig we were greeted by an unpleasant smell. Thought it was from the flooding until we read another review from two weeks prior stating the river flooding had caused the sewer system to back up onto the grounds covering his patio rug and hoses in feces. Now we know what the smell was as the ground was still wet. It would have been nice to know this problem had occurred before my husband crawled on the ground under the coach to put the jack pads down so our jacks would not sink into the soft, wet ground. Many older, unmaintained permanent RV's in the park. All amenities are in much need of repair. Not well maintained park at all. Extremely disappointed. Will lose one day's rental fee and be inconvenienced, but we are relocating our rig to another park as even one more night in this park is not worth the price they charge. - LivADrm
Sep 2016 - $45.00
We have been here before and enjoyed the peace and quiet of being off the road away from the highway and near the river area (only has water in mid summer) This time we were surrounded by workers who partied all night, had to pay for our electricity ($8.19 for one night) on top of the $45.00 and were charged for Tengo internet ($4.00) if we wanted it for one night. We asked for a partial refund due to the extreme noise while we were trying to sleep but no dice. We will not return. We don't need to be nickel and dimed for our stay. It is an insult. - saturn7
Nov 2015 - $45.00
Was all right for a couple of nights. Do not recommend for a long term stay, did not have much to offer in way of amenities. Site map stated there were trash bins throughout the park; after a 10 minute walk we found 1 near the laundry room.
We were there in November, park had the feel it was closed for the season. - Our-Wandering-Casa
Jun 2019 - $42.00
This is a nice park for an overnite stop. One section is for full time residents, with a section for short stay campers. We had a shady site with a large grass area behind our 5th wheel. We would definitely choose this park for a stop-over again. - mac48
Apr 2018 - $35.00
Very pretty grounds, good playgrounds and laundry, very helpful staff. They have worked hard to make it lovely. After reading the older reviews and noting that the park is under new ownership we decided to go in. Glad we did. - Road ramblers
Aug 2017 - $100.00
We have stayed at Riverland for about eight years and love this place deyond measure. They have had a few problems in the past and with this last flood I believe it will return to the wonderful place it is. The restaurant is getting ready to open again and the park is back in order after the flood. Anybody who loves to jet ski and boat or swim will love Riverland. - JohnStegman

Jul 2018 - $50.00
Park was well maintained and runs along a small creek that feeds into the river. Beautiful place to sit and relax. Bathrooms were clean and park staff were great to work. - Shortclan
Jan 2018 - $60.00
We stayed at Riverbend 4 Days/3 Nights. Very peaceful! Great staff! Several wineries and nice restaurants near by. Several easy access spaces for large RV's. Numerous large oak trees that provide great shade. We left our RV at the park and did day trips to Yosemite and Kings Canyon National Park. The Park is on the Kings River which is known for great trout fishing but the season was closed during our visit - James Entwisle
Jan 2018 - $45.00
The RV Park is under new ownership and they are doing a great job. The park is filled with California Oaks and very peaceful. It's on the Kings River with a small Creek that runs through it. The restrooms have keypad entry, with a private shower and and toilet area which was very nice and very clean. The 180 highway is under construction and made it difficult to locate the RV Park. The park is a natural setting not all concrete and asphalt. Sequoia National Park is about 60 miles. - Mark DeWayne
May 2019 - $35.00
If you are passing through think of this as a Walmart parking lot with hookups and security.
I would not stay here again.
Security was kind.
Person that helped with booking was kind and prompt. - redwake
Aug 2018 - $35.00
We stopped here for an overnight stay. It is a fenced and gated location with power, water and sewer connections. The spaces are very small, basically on an asphalt parking lot located behind the livestock show area. It's not an RV park per se, I suppose its more for the fair personnel or attendee's. That being said, the staff on the phone and the night watchman were very helpful and polite. we arrived around 12:30AM and the Watchman met us at the gate and escorted us to the RV area. Since there was no one else around, we didn't have to unhook, which was a good thing. For an overnight stay, it was a good value. We were able to sleep securely, wake up with coffee and a shower before hitting the road again. It beat the heck out of a highway rest stop or Walmart parking lot. - JP-JP
Jul 2014 - $20.00
As it was July, we knew it would be hot and it was. The campsites were on blacktop and the temp is 105 F., all in the sun. Ugh! Went to use the rest room and shower, big mistake. There was mosquito larvae in the toilet, at least the water was potable. Now for a nice cool shower. Turned on the cold water and waited and waited; it got hotter and hotter. Checked the tap out side same thing. With great wisdom the pipes were run in the peak of the roof where it was very hot, NO COLD WATER. Enjoy your stay!
This is a very substandard stopping place; you can't call it a Park as you have minimal amenities and are subject to the influx of animals right where you park. The animal pens are in the open air building right in front of the parking area. This facility was an afterthought of the fair board.
Don't stop, you will be better off at Wal-Mart. If you do stop, check it out before you pay. - Tom G Oregon unit
Apr 2010 - $22.00
Small, campground north of Visalia, with predominantly permanent residents. Only 30 amp service and our 32 foot motorhome with tow barely fit into one of their pull through sites. Could not connect sewer hose because of small pull through size. Located right next to Hwy 99 so expect alot of road noise. Facilities are primitive and in disrepair. Pass on this one and head north to the next major town. - Happy G
Jun 2009 - $22.00
Nice, quick park off the freeway. Dirt roads and tall trees. There is freeway noise. It's a good overnight place. Friendly staff. - mycelia
Apr 2009 - $19.00
Well not stay here ever! The park is filled with out of date registration RVs some have 1996 tags. Not one friendly camper said hi. This park could be nice if cleaned out. It would take many tow trucks to move the broken down RVs. - titanium
Aug 2008 - $30.00
Park was nice, quiet, and people were very friendly. Close to Hwy 99, and we were able to get to all the places we needed to get to. - rkedwards
Mar 2006 - $25.00
Easy access just off Hwy 99. One night stay while traveling North. No frills: nice and simple. Park was quiet and clean as most people were living here full time and working. - Darla
Jan 2019 - $35.00
Had a terrible stay. Over 90% full time RV. Had about 4 pull through spots for outside guests. Near busy road. Dogs across the street barked all night. Couldn’t wait to leave. - Rsmall
Jun 2017 - $35.00
First the good: Very clean, well maintained, nice pool, laundry works, manager great. The bad: seedy neighborhood, manager put a super thick chain round our bikes to prevent theft. There are 3 overnight sites, right on the main road, very noisy, they crammed 5 RVs on, and would have put more if they could. This was a serious safety concern to us, and had we not had our slides out before the others arrived, we would not have got them out. No picnic table as there is absolutely no room to put one! This is the tightest site we have ever been on. Will never return. - Herbet
Jun 2017 - $45.00
Saw comments about run down area but it didn't look bad to me, but it was daylight and we were desperate at 112 degrees to find some where to plug in. Lots are level and trees are awesome. Staff are exceptional! Neighbors were friendly and park is very clean. We don't have kids and don't use the public areas but I called four places and this was the only one to call back and they called right back.
Roads are narrow, probably not good for long rigs and tow vehicles. - Maltese Mom
Jun 2019 - $45.00
Good park, laid out well. Good pool, play areas, and dog walk. Generous spacing between sites. Fairly well kept. internet was BAD (less than 1 mbps). My WIFi Ranger didn't even help much, however my AT&T Nighthawk worked well. The best compliment I can give.....my dogs liked this park; what else matters ! Would I stay here again? Absolutely ! I stayed in early June and the grass was already starting to get burned to a crisp. The hosts were great. - Phaeton01
May 2019 - $54.00
Large number of permanent rigs with the usual trash and poor maintenance. Grounds are dirty with mostly weeds. Quiet a night, some train noises. Very high price for this place. - MicaSophie
Apr 2019 - $52.00
The entrance had beautiful roses and the landscape at the pool is pretty with a mix of flowers. As for the park, it is a good park but needs attention because trees at the sites needed trimming which prevented my satellite from working and the sites could use gravel. The staff offered to move sites but what was available was less desirable. Has about 20 full time sites which could use sprucing up. The site we had was across from the cabins which are well maintained. Wi-Fi - good signal; T-Mobile - 2 of 4 bars; Electric - no issues; Water - no issues; Sewer - no issues; Satellite - no signal due to tree, dog area - open area, weeds/grass, level site. - Peter G
