Overall Rating:

Very nice fairly new park. Flat level sites, well-spaced with lawn and small trees between. Lots of sites back to pond/fountains to help what can be very hot conditions in summer. Would be a great place for large groups. Although right next to Hwy 5, not too noisy. Access from hwy is a little odd, either through the shopping center or a residential area. Both are fine for big rigs. Great place to overnight for long haul up Hwy 5 or to stay for a few nights to see the area. It is gated so you need to show up on time or call ahead to make arrangements to be met at the gate. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Walk to Shari's for breakfast, excellent prime rib on Fridays; also groceries and pizza. Local pizza/pasta place delivers to site. Path to river is a little sketchy once you leave the RV grounds. RV park is between freeway and train tracks (of course!), so pick which is less annoying to you!

Have stayed at this park numerous times and love this place! The staff are wonderful, the park is clean and well maintained and they are always available to help. The park is secure and there is a market just around the corner. Excellent place to stay! We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a high end resort RV park with closed gates after hours Beautiful sites and hiking trails.

Concrete pads can accommodate up to 105' rigs. Escort to your site and new pedestals water and power with ground level sewer connections.

Cost is street price, but we stayed for nada because of our other membership. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Beautiful resort with golf close by, friendly and accommodating staff. Free coffee every morning, exercise room, massage room. What's not to like. Evening gas fired fire pit for social gatherings.

Pool and spa round out the experience all clean and well maintained.

Have stayed here several times. Nice newer park, made for big rigs (essentially a very nice parking lot). Nice big swimming pool and club house. The "fountains" have turned into ponds, fully of frogs and algae - maybe not a bad thing? This time we stayed in a Riverfront site - more costly but a nice view of the river and no road noise. We use this as a stop-over on our way to/from Oregon. We would stay here again. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Every vacation we find a hidden gem. This park was the gem. We splurged after a long day and called on short notice. Got a fountain pull in site. A little pricey but very nice. Park is beautiful and we'll kept.

Staff very nice and helpful except one disgruntled grounds keeper who felt he needed to vent to me...weird.

We plan to return here often. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here many times over the years. The park has always been spotless, not so this trip. First of all we had no WiFi signal. The main club house is clean as usual inside but the exterior is COVERED in cob webs and the Adirondack chairs leave splinters, ouch! The newer sun sails are a nice addition. The ponds are covered in green algae and are unsightly. The weeds throughout the park are the worst we've ever see at any park, some are 3 and 4 feet tall and the workers just ride around in their golf carts all day, not pulling a weed. What is happening here? If it's not cleaned up soon we will not return and that's sad. We are hoping the owners see our honest review and take the necessary actions to turn this back into a 5 star resort! We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

There a lot of RV parks in surrounding area but this one is the star!! Large level pull thru sites. Best cable tv I have in any RV park - with lots of channels - loved CSN Bay Area so we could watch the Giants. WiFi was very fast. The facilities are large and spotless. You will not be disappointed here! We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

What a beautiful park! Friendly and efficient staff, they even escorted us to our site and made sure all the utilities were functional. Very wide, very level concrete pads, with lots of space between. Grounds were very tidy. Will definitely stay here in the future! We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

One of the nicest parks we have stayed in on all of our travels. Sites were very level and spacious. Cable and WIFI worked great. Dog park was somewhat small for large dogs, but was just fine for our little guy.

Pool and hot tub were immaculate. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Shopping was very convenient and easy to get to. Restaurants were nearby.

Easy on and off to I-5. When following GPS, it says to make right turn on to Center Street. We made a "sharp" right. Do not make the "sharp" right. Was still able to get to the park, but much easier following Center. Corner is a little confusing.

We agree with all ratings above nine. The maneuvering is easy in and out. The roads are wide and paved. Staff was friendly, ready and waiting with our welcome package. Everything was as promised. We reserved online. Cement pads are wide and long that allow room for patio. Cable TV had lots of channels. This is what we are looking for. It is close to perfect. We will stay here again. Overall Rating:

We pulled in for one night, Good Friday, to find, as I would have suspected, that this beautiful resort is very popular with families with younger children and RV'ers looking like they could have been the loud party type, on at least this, a holiday weekend. Never heard the loud music or carrying on that I was concerned about. This appears to be a park that enforces its rules. The resort is just that. Beautiful with lots of extras. Many of the premium sites - gorgeous - could wind up being buddy sites so check with the office if this concerns you. The office staff is great as is everything about this resort. Very likely the nicest in the state of Jefferson. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice park with cement pads and grass between sites. Long enough pull-thrus that did not have to unhook tow car (except sewer). Nice pool and amenities, the down side is the noise from I-5 making it unpleasant to be outside, if that does not matter then the park is a "9". At $40 it is a good value. Overall Rating:

This was our third stay at this park. This is one of the "good ones" in our opinion. Very well kept grounds, good check-in and friendly folks that make it so. Spaces are level, good utility hookup posts. A little traffic noise as it is adjacent to I-5 but not enough to be bothersome or to keep you from resting well at night. We normally get a pull-thru space near to but not on the river which is further away from the traffic. Nice park to walk around in the evening. Not a destination park for us but certainly one that we like to use when traveling the I-5 corridor between Sacramento and Vancouver, WA to visit family. Will definitely be staying here again on future trips............... We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are two good restaurants within a short walking distance right outside the park itself. One is a Shari's that offers good breakfasts as well as lunch and dinner. The other is Luigi's Pizza & Pasta and THEY DELIVER right to your RV for a very small delivery charge. The pizza arrives hot and is one of the best in the area, you cannot eat just one slice and beats the Round Table up the street by a county mile..................
