Probably the 6 or 7 time we have stayed here. Always a pleasure. The people are very nice. The site is clean and long. Simply a great RV park. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stop here typically in transite along I5 going to/from Oregon. Great park. The spots along the river are quite nice. We spoke with some travelers, however, who complained of stuff being stolen from there site. Evidently there are homeless encampments adjacent to the park. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We loved this park. It was easy to maneuver with our class A, sites were roomy enough for our 2 slides, and the pool is fabulous. In fact, it was the first pool we've ever used at a park. It was just a quick overnight for us, but we would definetly stay again. Also, loved the fact that there's a security gate at night. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very clean. Wide cement pads and grass. Very big rig friendly. Nice pool area and very friendly staff. Our site unfortunately had little to no shade. Small dog park that could use some shade. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The check-in staff is very friendly and anxious to assist. The facility is clean and nicely laid out. A gated swimming area is available, as well as a meeting room area, tennis/basketball, bocce ball, horse shoe pit, specialized pet wash facility, gated dog area and a small putting green. The laundry and restrooms are convenient and also well maintained. This is the second time we have stayed at Durango RV and both times we have stayed in a site with a River View. These sites are not level, so be prepared to level your rig. There are not discounts applied to the River View sites, however discounts are allowed at the other sites. Restaurant nearby, easy freeway access, quiet. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We watched this park being built years ago and I always wanted to stay here, finally got the chance. This is an excellent park, clean, green grass, all paved fairly level sites, trees are growing up. Bathrooms are 10's as is the pool area and meeting rooms. Check in was a breeze and they lead you to your site. We had a river site (as reflected in the price). Hard to fault this place with one exception..the noise from the freeway is constant. Park is located right next to Hwy. 5. We have an older class C so our windows are not double pane and we're probably not as well insulated. A larger, newer MH might not hear it as bad. Anyway, it was a nice stay but I might opt for a quieter place next time. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Not too much in Red Bluff but you're close enough to Redding to see things. And it's not far to Mt. Lassen.

This is a very nice RV park. The roads are paved, campsites are concrete, grass at every site. There are trees, but it will be a few years before they offer much shade. Bathrooms and common areas are clean. It is HOT and windy in Red Bluff in the summer. Campground is very close to busy highway, but noise wasn't an issue for us. Staff was pleasant. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice facility. Well designed with wide roads and large concrete pads that required little to level the rig. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help us secure a spot for our return trip through the area. I didn't rate it a 10 because of the freeway noise but that has nothing to do with the campground operation. Overall Rating:

My space was a large, level, concrete, pull through spot with grass on both sides and a tree to the back of the site that provided welcome shade. AT&T worked well, cable TV was excellent, utilities were placed on the drivers side about half way down the site. Everything about the site was very clean and well taken care of. The reason I did not give Durango a 10 was that I had my windows open at night and there was constant traffic noise from I-5. There was also a train that came by a few times in the evening. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

I echo all of the other reviews. Great value for the price! Suggest parking near the fountains to help mask the freeway noise but all else was excellent! Very peaceful park. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We tried Durango going south as our usual RV park was full. We stayed there again going north and will use it as our preferred park in this area. Everything was clean, neat and up to date. Staff were friendly and efficient. We were not far from the I5 (easy to access), but noise was not a problem. This is generally a place for transients, rates reflect the quality, and there were no dilapidated rigs. It was well laid out and there was plenty of room to get in and at the sites. Overall Rating:

I consider this to be the best RV resorts in the state. This visit, we opted for one of their best sites - waterfront. We waited until we arrived (midweek) to handpick the site. Because both towables & motorhomes can be intermixed, we did not want our 'living space' to open our neighbor's. The perfect end site was available. First problem is that the hookups in these sites are not well situated for motorhomes. It required a minimum of 2 lengths of sewer hose to get our 37' Class A in far enough to fit our C-RV into the site. The concrete pad did not appear as sloped as it truly is. We carry 2 sets of the yellow "LEGO's". Even after a trip to the local WalMart for a third, I could not get the front of the coach elevated sufficiently. A 43' DSDP next to us had used about that amount successfully. The office graciously reassigned us to a very nice pull-thru as we've always used before. We were very disappointed that the premium site wouldn't work for our rig, but our visit was still, as always, just wonderful. Purchasing propane here is tricky. We were successful only due to the help of a wonderful gentleman who guided us in. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at this park multiple times. Sometimes we stay for several days, sometimes like this visit it is just a one night stop between Grants Pass and Sacramento. You are escorted to your site after checking in at the office. All personnel have always been friendly and happy to help with questions. Nice long sites which don't require us to unhook. Green grass, paved roads and a nice pond / fountain area crest a nice relaxing environment. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Luigi's delivers pizza to the park or you can walk over less than .5 miles. Pie is available at Shari's which is also within walking distance. The Sugar Shack down town provides a nice breakfast or lunch.
