We had an electrical problem when we hooked up to the park's electrical system. It applied 220 volts instead of 120 volts to our camper because of a problem in the campground equipment. This caused four weeks of repair time and almost $1000 in damage. The park claims they are not responsible for the damage and we have had to resort to a legal claim against the park. Talking with other park residents we learned that others had similar issues with the park. The park is not particularly clean, litter is prevalent, however there is a decent dog park, and other dog owners are friendly. The park does have a decent pool and small Rec hall. Advertised WIFI is useless anytime day or night. Daily Rate quoted was based on monthly rate. Gated Park but still accessed by homeless people hanging out nearby - Keep everything locked up! We camped at Diamond Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

First of all, electric breaker kept going out in 115 degree. Second day we were moved. No more problems with that. Cigarette butts everywhere, we don't smoke. Pool closed by county environmental services for filth giving them one month to clean it up. Management very rude! My advice, stay somewhere else! We camped at Diamond Valley RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is the third winter I have stayed In Diamond Valley: each year from 1 Nov thru March. The staff is excellent, facilities are great and the Management superb. Residents walk around the park for exercise or to walk their pets. There Is a great dog run also. Guests must stay a minimum of a week, so it eliminates the constant in and out traffic. It is a gated community. Laundry facilities are great and clean. I will be back back next year. We camped at Diamond Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Walmart, movie theater, dentist, Drs. not far and grocery store! (Stater Brothers, like Safeway, with Chase Bank inside), and it is quiet.

Unsafe, we left after 1 night. Lost $250, but could not stay. We stayed the night at WalMart and felt safer. Very tight spaces. Manager was friendly, tenants were not. Will never go near this place again. We camped at Diamond Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Old facilities unkempt, roaches are an epidemic, homeless on property, management not available after 5pm and weekends, gate code same for all (including previous evicted tenants), tenants are hard working and quiet (scared and continually threatened by management). Most sites had problems with hook up boxes, not all working. Old abandoned trailers and Park models. Stay at another park. We camped at Diamond Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Diamond Valley RV Park advertises itself as a renovated park. There are tall weeds everywhere and old abandoned trailers. The showers were dirty, management rude and somewhat hostile. Not as advertised. We camped at Diamond Valley RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

No park activities at all. No heat or air conditioning in club house. Casino close, if that's your thing.

Two sisters in management office are very rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional in duties concerning proper maintenance of the park. R.V. park has severe problem with theft, vandalism, dog feces on grounds. Busy liquor store just outside of entrance gate and across street from S. J. High School, and also farm animals in yard pens located next door to park; this place is anything but quiet. Old R.V. park with mostly disabled long-term residents in older trailers. Don't waste your time or money staying here. It's not recommended no matter how much cheaper the price might be...horrible experience!

Be smarter than us and go somewhere else. We camped at Diamond Valley RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Do not understand high ratings on this park. We were booked in another park, but arrived in the area early and decided to try a different park. We had googled Diamond Valley and the computer optics along with the ratings on this site were appealing. After driving 400 miles that day, we arrived with intentions to stay. This park is a typical run down "forties" vintage operation. Most of the units are old, there is detritus everywhere seeming left over the years. There was a small sign designating the admin area, but no one around. In my opinion, this park is everyone's worst nightmare at the end of a long day. Their RV website is misleading and should be disregarded. It is also located in a poorer area of San Jacinto, which is a depressed area to boot. Keep traveling if you are bound for this place. We camped at Diamond Valley RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We enjoyed our stay at Diamond Valley RV park. They have friendly and helpful staff and management. The sites are average size, some are larger. Trees for shade are nice in the summer. The jacuzzi is 104! The heated pool is 85. They have activities, pot lucks, game night. Laundry facility, showers, clubhouse, billiards tables, big screen TV. Nice friendly and quiet atmosphere. Close to shopping and restaurants. We camped at Diamond Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.
