Park was well maintained and runs along a small creek that feeds into the river. Beautiful place to sit and relax. Bathrooms were clean and park staff were great to work. We camped at Riverbend RV Park (formerly Riverbend Mobile Home and RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We stayed at Riverbend 4 Days/3 Nights. Very peaceful! Great staff! Several wineries and nice restaurants near by. Several easy access spaces for large RV's. Numerous large oak trees that provide great shade. We left our RV at the park and did day trips to Yosemite and Kings Canyon National Park. The Park is on the Kings River which is known for great trout fishing but the season was closed during our visit We camped at Riverbend RV Park (formerly Riverbend Mobile Home and RV Park) in a Motorhome.

The RV Park is under new ownership and they are doing a great job. The park is filled with California Oaks and very peaceful. It's on the Kings River with a small Creek that runs through it. The restrooms have keypad entry, with a private shower and and toilet area which was very nice and very clean. The 180 highway is under construction and made it difficult to locate the RV Park. The park is a natural setting not all concrete and asphalt. Sequoia National Park is about 60 miles. We camped at Riverbend RV Park (formerly Riverbend Mobile Home and RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Sequoia National park 60 miles, Pine Flat Lake fishing 3/4 hour, Avocado Lake under construction tree removal they say 1/2 hour. What I liked was all the small towns with great little Mexican restaurants everywhere. And if you like mandarins and oranges and tangerines this is the place to go.

Overall Rating:

I read a lot of bad reviews about Riverbend RV Park. I'm out of town working and decided to go check it out. They have two private bathrooms toilet and shower that are very clean and with a keypad lock. The RV park is filled with California Oaks that are pretty awesome. It's a nice layover going to Yosemite or to Sequoia National Park. I have a 34 ft motorhome they have no problem accommodating me. The lots are really big and have plenty of room for additional parking and BBQ area. There's plenty of grass area for kids to play on and they have horseshoes and a basketball court as well. I met the new owner and he has great intentions for the RV Park. They're doing a nice job on cleaning it up. I'm enjoying my stay it's nice and quiet at night which is a must when you're working 12-hour shifts. I'm going to be in and out of here for a three or more months. I will update my review throughout the balance of my time. Overall it's a nice place. We camped at Riverbend RV Park (formerly Riverbend Mobile Home and RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots of little Mexican restaurants in the town about 10 minutes away. And if you like citrus oranges mandarins and tangerines are in abundance everywhere here. Fishing at Pine Flats Lake and Avocado Lake. In The Lakes are probably a half an hour away but the RV park is right on the Kings River and you can walk to it,

This is the worst "camp ground" we have ever stayed at. We paid 50 dollars for one night and it was the worst experience ever. There was a 5 dollar deposit for a key to the unclean restrooms. The people were even worse. We even saw a man from a local wanted poster living there! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! We camped at Riverbend RV Park (formerly Riverbend Mobile Home and RV Park) in a Truck Camper.

Overall Rating:

We were given misleading directions to the campground by an employee/host to start with. The spaces are grass with holes (hard to level), the ground is mushy. There were, I think, 4 high speed brakes coming in by a low-class trailer park. People from the trailers behind the park go through the campground with loud mufflers. The male host screams at campers to slow down; there's no way you can speed with those speed humps. Unbelievably it only has l restroom for men and 1 for women. You have to wait if one person is there...the sink, toilet and shower are in the room. You pay a $5 refundable fee for the key to the restroom (same key fits both rooms??). The next morning you have to wait around for your $5. Fee to be returned when the office opens. This is one of the worst campgrounds anywhere. We camped at Riverbend RV Park (formerly Riverbend Mobile Home and RV Park) in a Motorhome.

THIS IS THE WORST PARK WE HAVE EVER BEEN IN, EVER. We do this Full-time so we're in a lot of parks. The so called Wi-Fi is non-existent. The rest rooms are terrible. The so called stream is just some stagnant water in a drainage ditch. This park is surrounded by a terrible, run down old mobile home park full off junky places and obnoxious people, playing their loud music at all hours. This is a very run down area. DO NOT GO TO THE PARK. YOU WILL REGRET IT. We camped at Riverbend RV Park (formerly Riverbend Mobile Home and RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

New addition to KOA system. Very large grass sites, but uneven and may have leveling problems. No nearby railroad and light traffic on nearby roads at night, but there is constant barking from dogs in downscale mobile home park next door. Promised Wi-Fi did not reach my premium (50 Amp/FHU) site. Owner stated that it is on the list of things to come. We camped at Riverbend RV Park (formerly Riverbend Mobile Home and RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here because it was getting dark and we did not find anything else. There are a lot of longterm stayers in very run-down trailers. When we arrived, we were asked if we need to use the restrooms and showers. When we told the manager, that, yes, we'd like to use them, he told us, "OK, that's included in the price and we will clean one of the restrooms for you.. Even after cleaning, the restrooms were terrible! The same is true for the laundry. The available sites looked quite nice at first: grassy and close the a small river with ducks. A closer look showed that the grass was full of duck excrement. (Sorry, I don't know a nicer word for it). We camped at Riverbend RV Park (formerly Riverbend Mobile Home and RV Park) in a Motorhome.
