Aug 2019 - $40.00
This is a great small RV Park. Nestled into the trees, sites are relatively spacious. A number of satellite friendly sites. The owner checked us in and gave us a few options for sites. - RPFawcett
Jun 2019 - $36.00
We came here as an RV Club group with 12 RVs. The campground was perfect for our club outing. The clubhouse was wonderful for all of us to have our group dinners in and to play games. The owners take a lot of pride in this beautiful park. They are also very knowledgeable on things to do in the area. The campground has grass and fresh clean rocks so our RV stayed clean too. This setting was perfect for our club outing. We will definitely be back. I can honestly say, this is one of the nicest RV parks we've been to in a very long time. - Traps
Jul 2018 - $38.00
We stayed here last week for the second time in 2 months. We love this park and will gladly stay any time we are in Quincy. The park is very well cared for and the people are wonderful. Because of the very large trees throughout the park, the asphalt is uneven. The shade is worth it. - cindy debard
Aug 2016 - $35.00
The best asset of this park is the staff! Wonderful people who really go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need to have a great time. We were lucky to arrive on a night that they were having a benefit for the Horses Unlimited program for autistic children, so we enjoyed a great meal and two piece band for a great cause! We also were lucky enough to win a couple raffle prizes as well!
The second best asset of this park is the trees! Shade everywhere. The sites are mostly dirt with gravel, but ours was very level. After the weekend the place emptied out to about 1/4 capacity. They have a giant communal fire pit that looked amazing, but no one else was using it so we saved our s'mores for when we got home. The dog park is small (32'x16'), and all dirt, but adequate. Leash rule is very strictly enforced (which is a great thing). Park was always very quiet and relaxing, and if you don't feel like cooking they have a very quaint cafe/store on site that serves breakfast and lunch except on Tuesdays. Satellite TV was a total of 5 channels, 8 if you can do digital.
So why the 7 rating? Two things that were tough for us. While the park is surrounded by things to do and neat towns to explore, everything but hiking is a several miles away, so if you don't have a tow vehicle or a toad you need to break camp if you want to do anything outside the park. The Feather River is only 1/2 mile away by satellite map, but because of the private property in between you must drive several miles to enjoy it.
But by far the biggest deal breaker for us was the fact that cell service is nonexistent (Verizon, at least), and the Internet was as bad as it gets to still be able to call it "available." For my DW that has her own business, and myself that sadly depends on Internet while away from work, we just wouldn't be able to stay here again.
If you want great hospitality and a quiet shady non-connected experience, this is the place for you! - NvLivin
Sep 2015 - $30.00
A great camping experience, lots of pine trees and shade. The Park is immaculate, the owners keep the grounds in excellent condition. Gravel and dirt sites, ours was level, full hook up, picnic table, with Wi-Fi and cable TV. Pets are OK, but must be on a leash at all times; dog run. Bathrooms and showers were clean, individual shower stalls with door and dressing area. Owners are very friendly and informative. Park fire pit (campfire) located in safe area. Country store, post office, and Café (breakfast and lunch) on premises. Quiet at night. - zigzag
Aug 2015 - $30.00
This is the second time we've stayed here. It's only 1.5 hours from our home and is a great, quick weekend get-away. It's nestled in the pines and is quiet and dark at night (important to us). The managers are always friendly and helpful. - CarrieD
Sep 2016 - $32.00
A clean, quiet and beautiful stay. Cottonwoods shaded our space and provided for a relaxing stay. Also located parallel to Spanish Creek, great for fishing or kicking back with our feet in the water in the sun. A short walk into town proved to be a good way to spend a couple hours visiting stores or getting lunch. The staff was genuine and helpful, also had propane refill services on site! Will be back! - flyfishfly
May 2014 - $32.00
No management on site. Full of rude college students with no supervision. Speeding through the park is a big problem as the roads are dirt. Would never stay there again. - fulltimer52
Sep 2009 - $11.00
We stay here often and have enjoyed the biking opportunities. Has lots of shade in tight spaces. Some of the spaces are easier to back into than others but not always available. Park backs up to bike path to the local Feather River College or into Quincy and fronts on to a creek. Has very rustic setting in the park and close to town (1/2 mile). - zen_letitbe
Jun 2013 - $40.00
I'm only giving a lower rating because not all services are available, but who needs Wi-Fi on vacation?? We found it to be a wonderful relaxing place to stay. The natural hot springs was a real treat after a long day. The setting is rustic, natural and quiet. We loved it and will be back, great place to unwind. - Bill&Helen
