This was a great campground to stay at for a visit the the Sequoia National Forest. The park is just a few miles up the road so it is very convenient. Park was nice and clean. They had 24hr security that were very helpful and friendly. Sites were nice and ours was fairly level. Restrooms, showers, and laundry were clean and nice. Definitely recommend this park. We camped at Sequoia Campground & Lodge (formerly Kaweah Park Resort) in a Travel Trailer.

Nice campground. Manager is very friendly and diligent. Office staff is friendly and helpful. Shady spots and next to the river. Only reason for a 9 rating rather than 10 is that they could use a load of gravel on their roads to help reduce the dust. We would stay there again if we were in the area. Restaurants and groceries nearby. We camped at Sequoia Campground & Lodge (formerly Kaweah Park Resort) in a Motorhome.

We stayed in #27 for a week in a 35' motorhome with a tow vehicle. We are self contained so cannot comment on restrooms. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again. Pros - - Very nice management, helpful, hard working and accomodating - Very convenient to Sequoia National Park - 5ish miles to entrance - Verizon internet and cell service strong - Very quiet except for the river even though right off main road. Never heard traffic as the campground is by the river so all you hear are the birds and the river. - Full hookups and cable with more than a few stations. Good selection. - Our site was very level and had new fire ring and was clean - Our weekly rate seemed very reasonable price for the amenities - Beautiful trees all throughout the campground and many many birds. Cons - - Tiny laundry room with 2 tiny working washers and dryers (1 set was broken) We camped at Sequoia Campground & Lodge (formerly Kaweah Park Resort) in a Motorhome.

We loved this park and will return again. Our site was a pull straight in site facing the river with the constant sounds of water rushing by. It was roomy enough for our 37' rig with four slides and the toad parked behind it. We had the grassy park area on one side of us with large tree's - which was nice. Families / kids played during the day. That area has a small beach. The park was pretty good sized and quite full, but was quiet at night. We had a picnic table but no fire ring. I think we could have requested one be delivered, but we didn't need one so it was not a big deal. We spent our evenings sitting in our chairs up on the bank watching the river flow. It was spectacular. The approach was easy to access, however we almost didn't see the sign to turn in off the road. We hooked up the tow vehicle just outside the park gate as the turns getting out were tighter than the turns getting in. Nice sized pool area. They offer WiFi and cable TV. BUT! The WiFi was literally nonexistent. If that's important to you, it will be a problem. We had no WiFi and no phone service at all (Sprint). It was inconvenient but we loved the site so much it didn't matter for a few days. Our front window faced the trees and river. Tips for other Campers:

Very close to Sequoia - one of California's greatest sites. We rented a small boat for an afternoon on Lake Kaweah. That was beautiful. We swam in the lake; it was warm. The river at the park was a fun place to cool off too but was very cold. We bought some snacks from the little store across the street from the park - everything was stale. Not so good. If you go to the lake marina they have a small store and snack bar.

We stayed here three nights to visit Sequoia National Park. We picked a site facing the river to hear the water rushing by on it's way to where three rivers converge in the campground. We had full hookups and cable. The WiFi was slow but acceptable. AT&T cell strength is fine. There is grass between the spots. We appreciated the huge Sycamore tree on our site. A hardware store and small grocery store are down the street. We were happy with our choice and would stay here again. This is a very nice camp, well kept, grounds were landscaped nicely, and was lots of fun for kids. They are pretty strict with rules, however don't always enforce them. There were some real party'ers making lots of noise until 2 AM. All in all we really liked this place, but mostly stayed to go to Sequoia Natl Park. I love this park! It is clean, well-maintained, lots of grass, beautiful trees and a small stretch of sandy beach on the river. The tent area looks like a pristine city park. The RV hookup pads are of pea gravel separated by rather narrow grass strips. They also have horseshoe pits, volleyball net and a large, sparkling clean pool. The Kaweah General Store, within easy walking distance across the highway is well-stocked with everything from fishing gear to RV and campground accessories, water, beer and soup to nuts. Most of all I recommend this park because of Shel, the terrific guy in the office. He's fun to talk with and will do anything humanly possible to be helpful. The only drawbacks I can find to this park are its lack of Wi-Fi and lack of 50 amp power. If you have a large rig with two AC's you'll want to keep that in mind. It gets hot here in the summer. Otherwise, this is a great family park for relaxation and it's right on the doorstep to Sequoia N.P. We camped at Sequoia Campground & Lodge (formerly Kaweah Park Resort) in a Motorhome.

I give it a high rating for the setting alone! It's right next to the river and the mountains are beautiful too. I pulled in on Monday and the office is closed Monday and Tuesday during winter hours. There were only 2 other spots taken so I had my choice. I saw someone in the office Tuesday, so I went ahead and paid them - they are very trusting! I love the laid back atmosphere! Several people pulled in over the next few days making it seem not quite as spacious. There is grass next to ever spot and lots of grass in the tent area. A nice sand volleyball area and a small beach too. Very family friendly! We camped at Sequoia Campground & Lodge (formerly Kaweah Park Resort) in a Motorhome.

This was a very nice and clean park, close to Sequoia National Park. The RV sites had no firepits but if you had your own it was ok. The laundry room was clean. The sites were gravel and grass but level. Even though we weren't right next to the water we could hear it from our site at night for good sleeping. We were there in the middle of June and it wasn't busy yet. We would go back again for sure. We camped at Sequoia Campground & Lodge (formerly Kaweah Park Resort) in a Travel Trailer.
