After staying in more urban RV parks for the last couple months Sequoia RV Ranch was a breath of fresh air! Remote location but near to Sequoia National Park. Small river running next to the campground is really nice. Like others have mentioned ATT cellular service is good but Verizon is sketchy. I had no more than 1 bar for the duration of my stay, but even that was enough to stream an occasional video and make a few calls. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Make sure to visit Reimers Candies & Gifts for some amazing candy and ice cream! Also, there is only one small grocery store in Three Rivers and it's expensive, so make sure to stock up in Visalia before you make the 40 min drive into the mountains.

We stayed here for 15 nights to explore Sequoia NP, Kings Canyon NP, and the surrounding area. Check in was easy and the staff is friendly and helpful. This place is likely quite beautiful in the spring and early summer when the river is running with snow melt, and the grass and vegetation on the mountains is green. In conjunction with the time of year, and an on-going drought, there is little green to see. Our site was a combination of dust and crushed rock. Entry and interior roads are in really bad shape. Two miles an hour in your tow vehicle is max, and a really slow crawl for the coach or, even with air ride, it will be really bad. This is a great gateway to Sequoia and Kings Canyon. It's 7 miles to the entrance gate, and then another 17 miles to the Giant Forest and General Sherman. There is a group of permanent sites on the north side of the park, and they were not obtrusive. The river was across the interior road from our site, and it runs throughout the park. It was a small trickle at this time of year. We didn't visit the swimming hole. We would stay here again, when the drought is over, and the dust is gone, or in the spring when hopefully, it will be as it was envisioned. It should be mentioned, as far as I could tell, there are only 10 sites in the non-permanent area that have 50 amp electric. 4 are along the river, and 6 are in the row we were in. We could not get satellite at our site. We hooked up to the cable provided, but it was only 12 channels, and all SD. The campground WiFi was spotty, and so was Verizon hotspot. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

As said, a rustic and dusty CG. Swimming was possible by using the river's swimming hole. Our site was pea gravel and tracked into the camper. Roads are broken asphalt and need repair. Site was level enough for us. Showers cost .25 for two minutes and a 2 minute minimum. Our power pedestal for some reason reversed polarity in the middle of the day and when we returned found no power. There is not an onsite maintenance person, so I had to call the off-site person. After 1.5 hours, he found a work-around and got us power. Trash was left from the previous camper, which we cleaned up. The trailer in the adjacent site was not parked properly which prevented us from using the fire ring. Never saw staff patrolling the CG for violations like this. Not really happy with the way of the different pricing structure, FHP, partial HP and no HP. We only had water and 30 amp service, no cable or sewer. This worked while were visiting family in Sequoia NP but would not stay here again. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

This is a rustic campground, with sites very close together. We were reserved for a full hook up site, but couldn't use the sewer hook up due to previous flooding and a high water table. All the sites in our area were by the river, and were also affected. When needed, the employees did come around and empty black tanks with a mobile 300 gallon tank for that purpose. We had a picnic table and a fire pit, although the fire pit was very close to the road and front of our motorhome. Fairly close to Sequoia National Park, so it was easy to go to and from there on a daily basis. The concrete "patio" was cracked and uneven. More maintenance and upkeep is needed in this park, but it was sufficient for us. Mostly quiet at night, although on the weekend there were partiers who cut through our site talking loudly, as if it were 3:00 p.m and not 3:00 a.m. Wifi was okay, and cable TV was included but didn't work for the majority of our time there. It came on the night before we were leaving. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The small town of Three Rivers has some shops and restaurants to enjoy, including a candy store that's been there for many years. The Gateway restaurant is right on the river, has a great outside deck seating area and the food was yummy. The area is beautiful and Sequoia National Park is close by.

This is a great park for visiting Sequoia National Park. No pool. But a nice swimming hole at the river. The park is a bit on the rustic side, but all services worked well. Most sites are fairly close together, but we have been in worse. If you want a site on the river make reservations in advance. I recommend calling the park for verification of utilities. Highly recommended! We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Wow, where to start in our stay at the Sequoia RV Ranch in Three Rivers California? This place has everything you could want. It is close to the highway, but far enough away that there is no highway noise in the park. It is close to Sequoia National park so that you can easily enjoy at least the southern part of the park in 1 day (It's a big park). There is a very nice beach and swimming hole area as well as stream that runs along one boarder of the park. There are full hookups (Water, electric and sewer), even at the sights along the rivers edge. They have no breed restrictions on dogs as long as your dogs and the owners are well behaved! :-) There is an amazing dog park as well on the property. The staff is very helpful and the RV park, though in a rustic setting is very clean. This is not a resort with concrete pads at the sights. The sights are topped with decomposed granite. We will definitely come here again. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Stayed 2 nights at this very nice park on the Kaweah River. Some back in sites are right on the river but we opted for a pull through that was close enough to hear the river at night. It's very quiet at night hearing only the river and frogs. Main road is paved and site roads are gravel with sites being grass and gravel and some have brick patios. It's about a 15 minute drive to the entrance to Sequoia N.P. Utilities all worked fine including good cable TV and wifi. Bathroom/shower utilities were very clean but showers are pay (.25 for 2 minutes). They have fire rings so bring some wood; they told me they seldom impose fire restrictions in the park. I highly recommend this park for any length of stay. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

There are both 30 amp sites here with no sewer and full hookup 50 amp sites with sewer. Be sure to specify your request when you call, as I expected a full hookup and received the other. The staff was very accommodating and helped us to find better accommodation after the first night. The place is nice and quiet, and there is good AT&T cell service. Wow! We selected a premium back-in site on the river. It was fantastic! Walk out the door of your camper, take about 10 steps and then walk down the steps to the grassy banks of the Kaweah River. Flowering Cherry trees in full bloom were quite the sight! After breakfast, take the road to Sequoia National Park, with the Foothills Visitors Center only 14 miles from your camp. The RV park staff members are very helpful and attentive. What a great experience for families........ We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Truck Camper.

Park was easy to find and navigate. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of nice trees and the river borders the park. Some roads are paved, sites are gravel. Some had concrete pads on their sites for a patio. Most did not and were all gravel. Park is quiet, Wifi and cable were basic. Verizon cell was one bar LTE. This park was a pleasant surprise. It is off the main road quite a distance. The park is very quite and the river runs by campground. Hook ups were good and worked well. The cable is very good but not many channels. Sites are gravel with a fire pit and table at each site. Office staff is very friendly and helpful. Close to entrance to the park which is beautiful. They have a swimming hole at the river which we didn't use but there were people on rafts using it and it looked nice. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

The pictures on the website are very misleading. Stayed overnight in a pullthru site. We were unable to open our slide-out due to the narrow sites. The electrical was inconsistent. When ac kicked in the TV screen temporarily went blank. Office shut down at 3:00. The lady I spoke with was very nice and she instructed me to use the envelope for payment. There was only 1 available and it was still very early. The dump site advertised was located next to camp sites. We had to park in front of 2 to be able to use it. While RV park is by the river, I must say overall appearance is grim. The website said each site had a grassy area. It was never found. The "fire pit" was located almost on the road. I'm very glad we stayed only one night. A lesson learned. State parks are the places to stay. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

This is not a pretty campground, but its location was convenient as Sequoia and King's Canyon are just a few miles up the road. At check-in, we had a bit of discussion regarding the price, as the one they quoted me when I reserved my "premium" Pull-thru site in February, but we got it mostly resolved. Our site (45) was level, but we had no patio...just dirt and gravel. We did have a picnic table..which was covered with some previous occupants melted Smores ingredients. We also had a fire ring of sorts, although it was too hot to even consider building a fire. Cable was OK, but only 12 channels. WI-FI could be slow at times but was good. There is a dog park, but it located so far from the camping area that you might want to DRIVE your dogs there in your towed if you have one ! While we didn't swim, there is a small river that flows behind the park and it has a swimming area. The kids seemed to enjoy it. We camped at Sequoia RV Ranch in a Motorhome.
