Easy access to I-5, gravel entry roads and level gravel sites. Check in was quick and professional by a friendly lady who then walked us to our site. No grass and fairly close, but with picnic table and shade. Excellent cable, the best we've seen. WiFi was average and Verizon cell/data was strong. 50A pull through sites are under trees so could be a problem for TV satellites could be blocked. The section of long term residents is located in an area separate from the camping section and was fairly well maintained. A nice touch was the delivery of fresh popcorn by the office lady - very thoughtful. We camped at Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The park web sites states that the Rain Rock Casino is "conveniently located within walking distance". I'm not sure how convenient - it's about half a mile, uphill, and with no sidewalks. Do yourself a favor and call the shuttle but beware that it has limited hours.

This is a decent park for spending a night while traveling I-5. It's easy access from exit 773. We only used their electric since we were winterized at the beginning of a January trip. Their water supply is heated. I called several days ahead. The office had a packet of information ready for us when we arrived. Someone walked us to the site. Loops and sites are gravel. They have tall trees (bare this time of year). There were many open spaces in January. We didn't use the showers. Behind a stall door is a two part prefab shower. There's a drying area with a bench then the shower area. The sign said it was 25 cents for 3 minutes. We'll use them again next year on our winter break from Oregon to Arizona. We camped at Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven) in a Motorhome.

We are a 45 foot motorhome towing a truck. The park was easy to find. The entrance was big enough that we could pull in without a problem. Check in was a snap! The lady already had an envelope with wifi information, map of the park, and a receipt. She then walked us to our site. The site was wide and long enough for us and the trees were well trimmed so did not have to worry about scratching the sides. The park is well laid out so pulling out won't be a problem. They have a popcorn machine and offer free popcorn to everyone. The popcorn was almost as good as what you would get at a movie. We camped at Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven) in a Motorhome.

We love this little park, and have stayed several times. It is only a couple hours from home so we stop here when heading south to clean up RV, dump, etc. before having to put in storage at home. Quiet as away from the freeway a bit. Has a very homey feel to it. Management very friendly and helpful and the popcorn delivered to your RV is a nice touch. Lots of trees which is nice. Can be hot but does cause a bit of challenge for slide outs, awnings and satellite. With that said, we have always managed it all and with a site where we didn't have to unhook either. There is also a new Casino just minutes away and they offer a shuttle if you don't want to unhook. We haven't tried it yet but heard restaurant was good. We camped at Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven) in a Fifth Wheel.

Our first time at this park. Nothing fancy, but they do bring you bags of popcorn in the afternoon, which was very good. Lots of trees, but sites are narrow, and we ended up pulling in too close to one tree, so didn't realize we couldn't open slide completely before we unhooked. Our mistake. Only staying 3 nights, so left it not quite out all the way. Able to drive to Medford, Oregon for shopping and lunch at McGrath's Seafood. Also stopped at Harry and David's for fruit. Only about an hour each way. Would stay here again. Very quiet. We camped at Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven) in a Fifth Wheel.

Excellent customer service! Friendly & helpful. Bag of freshly popped popcorn upon arrival was really appreciated after a long day on interstate 5. Easy in and out, no need to unhook our 33 foot 5th wheel for the night. Nice shade trees and a picnic table between each site with plenty of room for our chairs to sit and relax. We also didn't hear the freeway noise which surprised us. This is our 2nd time to stay here and we will return. We camped at Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven) in a Fifth Wheel.

Wasn't level, could not hook up sewer would have needed three pieces for a rear dump valve. Had a decent dog run. Fairgrounds were across the street where a stock car race was happening. Started raining and they all left. We camped at Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven) in a Travel Trailer.

Easy access from I5. Friendly, accommodating management. Came by with popcorn. Some long-term residents buts everything clean and orderly. Our pull-through site was long enough to not require unhooking our 5th wheel, but tight side-to-side... barely room enough for a picnic table under the leafy red maple trees. No space to deploy awning. Although close to I5, no road noise was noticed. This is a good stop-over while driving up I5. We camped at Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven) in a Fifth Wheel.

We will definitely be coming back. This is a nice park. The new owners are working hard upgrading things. They've put in a nice grassy fenced dog area. Everywhere you look are signs of improvements. Probably the biggest and most impressive improvement is their WiFi. Truly the best and fastest WiFi we've ever encountered. Most RV parks tell you not to stream movies. The owner told me they upgraded to the point that every space could stream movies and not bog the system down. We only stayed one night so didn't really get a chance to challenge the claim but if true, they really went above and beyond. The only 'negative' was the difficulty we had getting a satellite signal because of the trees. With a little effort and moving our 'cube' we were able to get one. Those with fixed roof systems might have to do a little jockeying to get their signal. There are trees at almost every site but the ones we saw looked like they'd been recently trimmed back. All in all, a very pleasant stop in a nice quiet RV park. We camped at Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven) in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy in/out, although road construction in front of their entrance made things a little congested. Would think that will be finished soon. Very nice owner checked me in then walked me to the space - very close by and easy to angle into. Utilities worked as they should. The laundry was satisfactory. A new casino recently opened close by and you are not far from Yreka proper for all needs. A knock on the door late afternoon means popcorn delivered by the friendly owner. Will return if ever in the area. We camped at Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven) in a Travel Trailer.

I'll start with the price, which we felt was a bit high for a place to park with water, electric and sewer. On to the much better part. The WiFi was good and the cable worked well. The park was clean and the "permies" who live there kept their lots clean. The RV park was clean overall, even though we didn't use the restrooms or showers. The best part of our stay was the niceness of the people running the park. They bent over backwards to be sure that our long rig would fit in a site and that we even had room to disconnect. The site was level and must have been 70' long. In the afternoon we were greeted by the owner/manager with two bags of popcorn. We would stay there again. Nice quiet older park right off I-5. No discernible highway noise, clean park, clean facilities (did not look at/use laundry). Helpful lady walked us to our site which was spacious, and later after we were hooked up came bu with a couple bags of popcorn. Nice welcome! We will definitely stay here again. Stayed one night heading north. VERY easy access from I5. Very well kept older park. Some permanent mobile homes on the north end of park. Site was gravel with a picnic table. Enough room for my 43 foot coach and toad and no problem putting the slides out. Did NOT have to disconnect toad. Good stable power. Good water pressure. Office lady was VERY nice and early in the evening she came by with a couple bags of popcorn! Very quiet even though it is only a block from the freeway. Nice fenced dog run. Will definitely stay here again if in the area ! We camped at Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven) in a Motorhome.
