1 RV Park near Anton, Colorado
Jul 2019 - $37.00
This is a very basic park connected to a motel. The employees are very nice and helpful. The park it's self is more of a pasture with full hookups. The spots are grass. They do have some pull throughs. When your traveling in eastern Colorado and western Kansas your choices are limited. I will probably stay here again because of the location. It's a good place for an over night stop. I believe one of the other reviewers say to make sure they have a spot during harvest. We were here towards the end of harvest and there were quite a few harvesters staying here. - alcomechanic

What a hidden unexpected gem this small park was for us. We highly recommend. First, it is indeed in the midst of vast tracts of the American prairie. The stars at night are beyond belief. There is a very small grocery store in the town, otherwise everything is 30 miles away. There were two long-term residents there, along with us, on a Memorial Day Weekend. Full Hook Ups, with plenty of space. We were on the last night of a cross-country road trip and got to the tiny store in Anton a few minutes after it closed. The owner of the Prairie motel offered to pick us up dinner while she was in town (3o miles away) which was incredibly graceful. The owners and their family welcomed us and made us feel part of their family. We would go out of our way to stay here again. - Milesdowntheroad

This park is 100 miles east of Denver in farm country. It's maintained for harvest workers but is a good spot for a overnight before or after the city. It's bare bones with grass sites but excellent hookups. Be sure to call during harvest season as it's usually packed. The sites are side-to-side and could be very tight with slideouts. - Grammy C
