Super nice staff that was very knowledgeable and helpful. Clean bath areas, very nice. The upper swimming pool furniture was very badly worn. Traffic construction at front entrance has progress, just have to move slow and watch what you are doing. Parking attendant helped me line up my RV so I could get close to concrete table pad. Good water pressure and clean sewer connection. There is a horse farm located adjacent to the north and strong Oder from horse stables, could not keep windows open and lot of fly's kept us from eating outside. Over priced for what you get, great location, expensive area, grocery stores just down street. Poor cell coverage for ATT almost useless. They let me use their land line to call Enterprise Rental Car. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

This was the only park with a vacancy and I called all parks in the area. They put me in a "Premium" pull through which in no way resembles the pictures on their web site. I was very disappointed in the park which is essentially a gravel parking lot with trees. The park was easy to navigate with our 42 foot MH with the toad attached. All utilities worked as expected. The WiFi was very poor and we were only 150 feet from the main building. We were able to get plenty of over the air TV. We did check out several of the other parks in the area and this was by far the nicest but in no way worth $92 a night. We have been full-timers for the past 7 years and have been in much nicer parks for half the price. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Very old park. Our first space was unsatisfactory as it didn't any power at all. The road to the campground was under construction and was horrible! The roads in Colorado are pathetic! We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Our cabins were resort cottage 1 and 2. The portable air conditioning that they had set up only brought the temperature down to 85 during the day and 70 by midnight if you were lucky. We eventually had to drag the mattress into the living area and sleep on the floor. Management said there was nothing they could do. There was not enough hot water to even take a shower due to the 6 gallon tank per cabin. Management didn't care. The beds were horrible and my wife cried every night for the entire 4 night stay. Don't waste your hard earned money on this place. Wifi is just fast enough to check email. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Cabin.

We stayed at Garden of the Gods the first time in 2013. Have stayed here about 6 times since. Haven't stayed there in about 2 years. This trip had to be booked through the call center. Reviews said the entrance was blocked due to road construction but should be clear by summer 2019. Call center didn't know anything about it and couldn't get the park on the phone. We reserved one of the executive sites, last time we stayed here they were all pull through sites. Due to creek/road construction they are pull-in sites with a horrible view but the park still charged a premium price, more than we paid at a true Class A only resort in Polson, MT. The site is weedy and unkempt. WiFi is unusable. We got more value at a KOA in Wyoming at far less than half the price. This will be our last stay at this park! We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Seems that this place is just like a lot of RV parks, long term residents have taken over the best sites, leaving the cramped ones for the rest of us. Very tight quarters, had to park truck right up close to 5th wheel to get it off the street, then could not open basement compartment and had to watch out not to let RV entrance door slam into the truck. Lots of trash, cigarette butts, etc. they need to clean up the area. Neighbor smoked some nasty smelling cigars then commenced to light a campfire in 85 degree weather. Had to ask two people to move their vehicles when we pulled out with the 5th wheel, that is how cramped it was. Hot Spot jet packs: Verizon and AT&T connections poor, Sprint acceptable. Pros: Water pressure and Electric hook ups good. Cons: Sewer connection was up hill, site not clean, tree sap all over truck and 5th wheel, over priced camping for what you get, site not long enough and too narrow and not level. On top of all that all the construction noise and frequent detours have us looking elsewhere if we decide to come back to the area. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Unfortunately there is not a lot to choose from in Colorado Springs for a larger RV. The location of Garden of the Gods is great with the exception the entire park is surrounded by road construction and has been for several years. Arrival is extremely tricky given the construction and it is near impossible to reach anyone from the park on the phone. The park is a large gravel parking lot with grass only around the pool, even the pet area is gravel. The sites are extremely unlevel with many of the larger Class A motorhomes up on blocks or wheels not touching the ground. Area between sites is extremely narrow and broken up by a raised picnic bench pad. Our slide was hanging over the neighbors picnic bench and we got to enjoy the smell of second hand cigarette smoke if we wanted to open our windows. Wifi is the worst imaginable, with the office staff constantly making excuses such as the park is full. Lack of wifi has been going on for years and reflects poor customer service, should have been upgraded given the high nightly rates. We had no cable tv and ATT phone/data is not good. A number of full timers with their junk scattered about. For the price this is one of the worst experiences we have had with more than 75 parks visited. Will not be back. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs were within walking distance and have many excellent shops and restaurants to choose from. Colorado Springs is close and is a beautiful town with lots to do as well. Pikes Peak and many other towns are close. Garden of the Gods park is also very nice to hike around.

We recently stayed at GOG RV "Resort" & I put resort in quotes because the word is misused in this instance. I will start with the OK side, bathrooms were clean. They have two pools (often closed due to homeless defecating and poor chemical conditions or storms). Not their fault is the ongoing, construction, the noise of which and logistics to arrive, makes this park not worth the price (gouging) they charge! What is their fault is the neglect to make it worth staying there when there ARE alternatives around any of which are classier and more pleasant. The proximity to attractions is what they rest their laurels on, the drive from any of the alternative parks is not overwhelming and worth your time and peace of mind. Small sites, un-level, no (working) cable, no (working) Internet, many monthly unkempt sites, and have I mentioned how LOUD it is from first in AM until late into PM?!! The mixture of vagrants vs tourist made it uncomfortable, to say the least. Buyer Beware! Stay at your own risk, or better yet, hold off on your vacation if this is the only place available. Stay anywhere else if you want to enjoy your trip and the area, the alternatives are there, just plan ahead. It is NOT required to stay right next to Garden of the Gods as that is only a one day (or half day) side trip. Easy to get to all attractions from the other parks available to you in the area. The pool is not worth the sacrifice in personal safety. In some sites sewer goes uphill and is not accessible with all of the add-on's in your arsenal. Sewers often back up and clean up is not mitigated properly. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Asphalt roads and gravel sites. Picnic table with concrete pad. The electric, water, and sewer are great. Sites are extremely close. The staff is friendly and helpful and will even deliver your filled propane bottle to your site. The wifi and cable service is non-existent. AT&T phone service doesn't work well. The park is clean and neat and is centrally located to all the tourist attractions in the area. We stayed a week and saw a lot of RV Parks, but it seems Garden of the Gods is the best in the area. Tips for other Campers:

Pikes Peak, Garden of the gods, and the Air Force Academy are in Colorado Springs. The Royal Gorge is about an hour and half away in Canon City, CO. Famous Dave's BBQ is great and about 15 miles from the campground. Within a mile are Amanda's Fonda Mexican restaurant, very good and family dining at The Mason Jar which is also very good. Note, the campground is safe and seems to be undisturbed by the large number of homeless people wandering the streets about a half mile away.

Very centrally located and a must stay for visitors to Colorado Springs. The construction is troublesome, but not a huge negative. However, I found the interior roads to be too narrow for a 45' rig and had trouble maneuvering. Sites were not level but a traveler learns to adapt. It is very close to the Garden of the Gods which is a must-see. Also near to downtown Manitou which has experienced a huge makeover and quite delightful to visit. For the healthy eaters of us, within walking distance is a Vegan restaurant, Adams Mountain Cafe which serves extremely good food. They also have normal fare, so you can easily go with different tastes in mind. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 4 nights in a site for big rigs. Even tho it is all grave the Garden of the Gardens RV Resort is a very clean and friendly rv park. The bath houses were always clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Minutes from Garden of The Gods. We have a 37 foot rv with an attached toad in a pull-thru. Our site also had trees on both sides and plenty of space between rigs! We had no problems with our satellite. If you have a dog there is ample area to walk your pet but not much grass. If you are looking for a quiet and clean park where you can sit outside and relax... go here. We enjoyed our stay, and would go back. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Site was sloped back to front enough that I had to block up the front tires to keep them from hanging in the air. Lady at front desk said the construction was supposed to complete at the beginning of summer. They had just finished the asphalt on Columbia drive the day before we left. Still no asphalt into the main entrance to park. Still using exit to Pike Peak Ave. as both entrance and exit. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Tom, thanks so much for staying at our RVC Outdoor Destinations Garden of the Gods Resort. We greatly appreciate you choosing to stay with us. I wanted to apologize for the problem you experienced with leveling your motorhome; while we have many other level sites throughout the resort, we regret that you did not receive one. It is a challenge getting perfectly level sites in the foothills of the Rockie's but we are in the planning stages of addressing this issue shortly in the near future. The good news is that the construction project is nearing completion and we are looking forward to having this issue behind us shortly. After completion, our entrance will be much better for our guests, including a dedicated traffic light that will allow for easy entering and exiting. We hope that if your travels bring you back to Colorado Springs, you will choose to stay with us again. All the best, Lloyd Lauland President of RVC Outdoor Destinations

Stayed 7 nights in a 43' motorhome. Major construction underway blocking main entrance. Called for best directions the day before and told to enter through EXIT from "W Pikes Peak Ave". Attendant on golf cart was waiting for arriving guests and escorted to PT FHU site N03. Interior roads are paved but tight to navigate for BIG Rigs. Mix of back-ins and PT sites. Premium sites, head-in, have a level concrete pad facing main road construction. Neighbors are very close and our slide went over the neighbors table. Site was not level front-to-back. CG is all gravel, some shade, no cable and few OTA channels. ATT service spotty as was WIFI. Dog park has bags and is all gravel. CG is located close to many attractions which made it convenient. Office interior/lounge is beautiful with pool table. There is a good arcade room. If in area probably will not stay here again. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Dear RTM, thanks for choosing to stay at our RVC Outdoor Destination location at Garden of the Gods. We greatly appreciate your visit and your understanding of the construction that is taking place outside of our resort. The good news is that the construction is nearing completion and the end result will be a much improved entrance to our location. Post construction, we are planning several upgrades, including more site leveling and increasing our Executive sites with concrete pads. Things are tight, especially in the foothills of the Rockies, but I am happy to hear that you found our location to be convenient to the many attractions in the area. As a well seasoned traveler, I can tell you appreciate quality and cleanliness; you can always count on that at each of our locations. If you have not done so already, please visit our website at www.rvcoutdoors.com and check out our other locations. We would love to have you as a guest again. Sincerely, Lloyd Lauland, president RVC

The location is good and it looks like they recently spread new gravel throuout the park, so dirt and dust is minimal. The pull through site was very close to neighbor and our slide went over the neighbors picknick table. The sewer hose is located next to picknick table which made it undesirable to sit outside. There is currently significant digging and road construction which made access to the park difficult in a 45ft motorcoach, specially when some road cones had tipped over. Management should add a large sign noting the location of registration. We entered park and finally went walking around the park to find registration. Not obvious with the current construction. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Motorhome.

Dear Windquest, thank you so much for choosing to stay with us at our RVC Outdoor Destinations location at Garden of the Gods. We appreciate you noticing that we recently have improved the resort with new gravel to minimize dust, etc. The construction has been an inconvenience, but the good news is that the county is nearing completion at our location. Our team has done their best to make access to our resort a minimal inconvenience, but sometimes we are at the mercy of where the construction crews are working. We do have plans to greatly improve signage at the entrance (it was removed due to the construction) and we are looking forward to having a dedicated traffic light that will make entering/exiting much more convenient for our guests. We greatly appreciate your business and look forward to you returning. We would also like you to visit our other resorts as well as you are traveling. Please visit our website at www.rvcoutdoors.com when you have a chance. All the best, Lloyd
