4th time here for 2 weeks. Great park, everything is so clean and the staff are all ways willing to help. They need to do something with the cell service as you have to drive 2 miles down the road to get service. I am giving it a 10 as the cell service is not there fault. The place is amazing; the deer just walk through camp and the bear is out at night and he loves hummingbird feeders he is so talented he takes them down turns them upside down unscrews the bottom and drinks the sugar water. Will be back again. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice park but many long term campers in all the best sites. Cons: Surge protector tripped twice in my camper not sure why. Water pressure low at times. No AT&T service. Cable TV OK but fuzzy. Dump truck route next to park who start work early. Pros: Nice landscape park with room between sites. Mule deer visit park regularly. Good strong Wi-Fi. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The campground is very well kept and owner is helpful and friendly. Quite a few upgrades have been made since we were first here 2 yrs ago. It is in a beautiful setting and sites are level and rock based. Wifi was average and Verizon signal was good but not strong at times. We have stayed here 3 times and will again. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent a week here and really enjoyed it. The park is located in a beautiful mountain setting and is well maintained. We had a terrace site that did not have cable TV but was told that they are working on it. Other sites have it. Could not get my sat to work but problem was on my end not theirs. The owners are working to make this a first class RV park and it shows. Lots of wildlife wondering through the park. This park is about 18 miles from Colorado Springs which was OK with us but might be a problem if you want to be closer to town. No stores close so make sure you have what you need before arriving. The camp store has very limited supplies. Overall we loved the seclusion and beauty of this park and will stay there again. Would even like to workcamp there. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We selected this park based on reviews and they were all true. This is a beautiful park, well maintained with nice sites for our 40 footer. We were camped on one of the 'terrace' sites, level and wide for slide-outs. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Some distance from Colorado Springs, but well off road and nice and quiet. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Excellent park for the value. We camped here on site 83 (a nice pull thru site). Electricity and water pressure were good. We could get Direct TV but no local antenna channels at our site. Good Verizon cell signal but only got a 3G Verizon MIFI signal. All sites are level crushed stone. Grounds are kept quite clean; some Juniper tree shade at most sites. Rate reflects a Passport America 50% discount. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Price reflects Passport America. The park is a bit off the beaten path. Beautiful setting very quiet and clean. The park roads show signs of heavy rain ruts. Unhook your toad at office area. There are some tight turns. Our site on the hill was plenty big enough and satellite friendly. All hook ups properly positioned and working. Deer and a huge buck would frequent our site. Our experience with the Wi-Fi was terrible. Staff and owner friendly and helpful. Not allowed to wash RV because their water is trucked in. Camping World approx 40 miles south and Costco approx 40 miles north. Over all very nice park would definitely stay there again. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this park before and it continues to be one of our favorite destinations. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to assist to insure a pleasant stay. Sites are very spacious and the park is situated out of the city, but within easy access of shopping and area sights. The grounds are very well kept, wifi is very good and most of the sites now have cable. The park has increased their water storage capabilities and the water pressure was very good. Good clean 50 amp power source. To address previous comments: The majority of parks will not allow you to wash RVs or vehicles! The washouts due to the heavy rains were not in areas that caused any problems for entry or exit into the sites or the park. We will definitely stay here again next year. The $38/night was a weekly rate. While the campground management appeared to be busy adding additional camping sites, there are things they could have done better. For example, 2 of the 4 dryers were broken, there were large washouts from previous rains, the campground office hours during this time of year were completely random, WiFi coverage was spotty at best, and they watered the plants early every morning with a noisy tractor. Friendly staff, clean, great Wi-Fi. We liked the location, away from the highway and town. The other RV parks we saw did not look so great. We will be back. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We are Passport members and found this campgrounds in our Passport book. The park is very well maintained. The staff is a 10 plus. Very friendly and helpful. The sites are very big and spacious. Cellular service is marginal. We have Verizon. If your looking for a quiet, peaceful place, this is it. Very relaxing. We would stay here again. This is a gorgeous park. Immaculately laid out and maintained with beautiful landscaping. The area is beautiful, as well. Sites are very large, level and easy to get in. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our rate reflects Good Sam (GS) discount which they honored even though they are not a GS park. With all this said, we will probably not stay here again, as it is a little remote for us. They have a Colorado Springs address, but the park is about 10 miles south of the city proper. A lot of older people (we are older too) so might be a little boring for the younger set. We are very active, so we found ourselves leaving the park for the day to find activities which called for a lot of driving. But if you are looking for a super quiet park where you just want to relax - this is it! We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a beautiful park with a very nice staff. Our family of four really enjoyed our time here. I read about the trucks that drive past the park in past reviews, and although we did see a few of them, they weren't loud at all and didn't bother us at all. We really like the separate bathrooms behind the office area. The sites are very large. The park is located approximately halfway between Canon City and Colorado Springs. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay there again. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is about the best RV park we have ever stayed at. We were here last year, and it only gets better. The owner comes by and checks on you. The staff is a 10, WIFI screams. We had some serious thunder storms, and the staff was out fixing any roads. We will be back next year for a month. Pure and simple, it just does not get any better. Mountaindale is probably one of the best campgrounds that we have stayed at. We are a full time RV family with two kids (13 and 12) and two small dogs. We look for family friendly campgrounds, but also quiet ones too! We stumbled upon this campground when another one overbooked us for the holiday week. We had to stay at another one for a week and the owner did what he could to help in anyway. We were supposed to move to another spot half way through our stay (there for a month) but he ended up even making it so we could so in the same spot for the entire time. Pro's: Very, very very quiet, Friendly wildlife (deer, wild turkey's, and the occasional bear in the evening will visit), Family friendly, LARGE sites with a lot of room in each site, DIRECT TV offered for an additional charge, Fenced dog park, very clean bathrooms Con's: Spotty Wi-Fi (our Verizon phones and Mifi did not work here and their Wi-Fi was spotty at times and slow depending on how many people were connected in with - if you have Verizon it will not work in this campground unless you are up by the laundry room or on the road into the campground, No Cable - advertised as cable hookups, but none available (but they do offer Direct TV for an addition charge, No family activities planned. The Pro's outweigh the Con's so much at this campground. The owner is wonderful and you will see him doing hand's on work and getting to know the campers. He likes to talk and is very nice and friendly to everyone. This is one of those campground where they will leave you to yourself and enjoy the experience. Our rate was based on staying for one month! We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
