We stayed here 6 nights and agree with the previous positives reviews. We stayed in site 43; level with picnic table, fire ring and shade trees. All sites are gravel with rock terraced landscaping. One of the prettiest resorts we have stayed at. It is a minimum 30 min drive to any local attraction, but that was a positive for us as it is in the foothills with good views. Reservations were very good with the staff providing recommendation for local attractions. We will stay here again. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This Camp/RV Resort is awesome! Very friendly and professional staff! Property is well maintained and clean! All the facilities are very well kept and clean! The camp sites are large and spacious giving each unit ample space and privacy. Nestled at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains the view and wildlife are wonderful. This camp resort can most certainly accommodate all types of camping from tents to large motor homes. This was our first visit to this area and camp resort. We are already planning on coming back next year for a much longer extended stay. Thank You, to all the Mountaindale RV Resort staff ! We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is very spacious park. The sites are large with plenty of room between them. A very large storm, locals say the biggest in 10 years, came through and flooded our site #75. It is the same storm that brought a tornado to Denver. After the storm cleared they were on the spot and brought in new gravel and we were back to a great site. They continually apologized for the storm! We will keep this park high on our return list. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Cannot say enough good things about this park. It is fabulous! Sites are large and each are unique. The owner is constantly updating and making sites larger. Hard to find a bad site here. It's a bit out of town, but that made it so quiet. Takes about twenty minutes to get to stores. Very near to Cheyenne State Park for loads of hiking. We stayed a week and loved every minute! Will make a point to stay here again. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Outstanding park in a scenic location. Large easily accessible sites with good space between them. Owner is very friendly and always working to make the park better. Very pet friendly with a large well maintained dog run. The park is 15 mi south of Colorado Springs but believe me it is worth it compared to the in close parking lot campgrounds. We are already working to see when we can return. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very beautiful place and after staying two days, we will be making plans to return to spend a week or so with our grandchildren. The park has a fenced in dog-park where we were able to let our dog off-leash. If you want to spend some quite time in the mountains be sure to consider Mountaindale. We had no difficulty accessing the park in our 40ft Class A. The free Wi-Fi worked well, even when our Verizon hot spot didn't. The rate we paid reflects our Passport America discount. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This was the second time we stayed at this camp ground. We stayed in August and were thrilled with the campground. This was by far the best campground we have ever stayed in. We returned in September for a month's stay. All personnel were very friendly and accommodating. Sites are extremely large. We are returning for three months this year (2013). We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

First off, this park is not in Colorado Springs. it is probably 10-15 miles Southwest of town. That being said, it is a really nice park out in a rural area. The entire park is crushed rock which leads to a small amount of dust. The Wi-Fi and cable TV was some of the best we've used. The staff were very accommodating. Rate was PA. Overall Rating:

Price reflects the rate for one free night after staying seven nights. We have visited this campground previously and each time we come back improvements have been made. About half the sites have cable TV hookups at this time with the rest to be installed during the next year. Registration staff is very helpful and friendly as are all the staff. Owner is very involved with day to day operations. Sites are very spacious and level. Park is only 14 miles to nearest grocery store and Camping World is not much further. Centrally located to all the "must see" things in the Colo Springs area. Easy access for any size rig on well maintained roads. Abundant shade and wildlife are available at no extra charge! We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We love this park. This is our second visit and hopefully we will return. The ONLY reason we didn't give them a 10 was the lack of cable up on the hill and spotty Verizon service. Certainly not reason enough to keep us away. There was cable down in the main campground. The visits from wildlife were priceless and in our estimation what made it really special. The owners and staff were great. Laundry was clean and reasonable. Nice dog area. The sites are roomy and level. They don't pack you in like sardines. Just don't go there in great numbers in September as that is when we visit. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Extremely nice and friendly owner. Red gravel sites with non-existent grass. Nice wide sites with fire rings at each site along with full hookups. Voltage was adequate. Website states "clearly marked trail." No trail to be found as there was many big piles of dirt all over the place where the "trail" was supposed to be. The hot tub was VERY nice, but they drained it and cleaned it on Friday night, so it wasn't available all day/night for Friday, but we used it a lot on the weekend, and it was nice and clean. They were appologetic about the unannounced draining, and we appreciate that. The location is 18 miles from town, so bring what you need! Yes, they truck in water, so be considerate and not use too much in this arid part of Colorado. One of the better campgrounds in the Colorado Springs area, and we will be back! We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

A beautiful park with the largest and widest sights that we've ever seen. Deer and wild turkeys visit daily. Lots of shade. Hot tub was inviting. Verizon data and phone service not available at site, but was available at or near the office. Wi-fi at sight worked most of the time. There is also a free phone at office for your use. Laundry was inexpensive. Nice and quiet, and a friendly staff. We will stay here any time that we are in the area. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Friendly office staff: they drove us around so we could pick out our site. Red rock gravel roads and RV sites which means no dust. Lots of evergreen trees for shade; very large sites with a picnic table & plenty of room for your tow vehicle. Clean showers/toilets; laundry with 4 washers and 4 dryers costing about $3 to wash&dry a load of clothes. They must truck in their water so the pressure is OK but not great at times. Wi-Fi was fair to good. They have a resident deer population which wandered the park at will begging handouts and head rubs. Our major complaint was the park is located 20 miles from Colorado Springs so groceries and restaurants were a long drive. We would stay here again! About a 30 minute drive south of downtown Colorado Springs, but unlike many of the RV parks here, you have a bit of breathing room between the sites, whereas some of the parks right in Colorado Springs have the rigs packed in like sardines. Full hookups, and sites were level. Bathrooms snug, but clean. Quite a few deer, including 3 young bucks, roaming the campground. We camped at Mountaindale Cabins & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
