Very serene and scenic park. The park straddles the Dolores River with sites on both sides. We had a site on the back side right on the river (I am actually writing this review with the river at my feet and sitting behind my rig). They escort you to your site and the man backing me in is an expert. My wife wants to take him with us the rest of the trip. Lots of trees so plenty of shade. Several seasonal people with nice grass yards. I guess the only complaint is that there is only one bath house and you may have to walk a ways to get there depending on where your site is. The bridge to get to the back sites is pretty narrow, but doable. The park is gated. It is pretty far from civilization and is about 20 miles to Dolores and further to Cortez where the Walmart, gas stations, and grocery stores are. You only get three OTA stations - CBS, Fox News, and Movie Previews. Phone service seems to be OK. There is a nice short path in the park that follows the creek. We camped at Priest Gulch Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful park, but not our cup of tea. We were very disappointed that we didn't get a riverside site even though we reserved more than 6 months ahead of time.

Despite what previous reviewers said, we got zero AT&T reception even with a booster, and the wifi was very weak. If you like to sit and disconnect, this may be the park for you.

This is the perfect place to sit in a rocking chair and enjoy the beautiful scenery. If you are stressed out and need to disconnect, this is your place. If you need connectivity for work, look elsewhere.

It stormed every day which made it difficult to hike. Road is too dangerous for biking. We camped at Priest Gulch Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this park for a month. It is a beautiful park in a great location but could be improved upon. There is much mud and standing water in the back of the park. No phone service at all which is a serious safety issue! No cable service, and limited dish service due to the trees. We camped at Priest Gulch Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Fantastic park to stay! Very scenic, right on the Dolores River. Most river sites have grass in between. People that work here are very friendly. Quite a few folks that are staying for several weeks. Quite a few expensive rigs camped in there! Pretty nice to sit right along the river in front of your fire ring in the evenings! We'll be back! We camped at Priest Gulch Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great park for camping. Sites were large, shady with nice, grassy areas on our site and firepits. A great place to get away from it all. It was not for us, however. Wi-Fi was available for $6.95 for a 24 hour period, $19.95 for a week. Pay phone available and office phone available for $.25/local call. It had only been open for a few days, so benefit of doubt given here. Wife says her shower was hot. Mine was luke warm at best in two trys. And, even knowing it was quite a ways from any town, it was too far for us, as we enjoy going out to dinner, that sort of thing. We moved after one night and were told that the rest of our reservation would be refunded, tho I didn't expect it. We'll see. We consider ourselves travelers as opposed to campers and moved to town. We camped at Priest Gulch Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
