Sep 2019 - $30.00
No sewer and it costs $23 to use the dump station. Also cost us $1 each for the dogs. Showers were 25 cents for each 2 minutes. As described in other reviews, a pleasant, but rustic campsite. Sites were big enough for our 25' trailer, not many sites were bigger. Our was not very level, but we made it work. No green grass for a dog area, water tasted like well water, but was okay. - Ken331

Got to ride my bike in million dollar neighborhood hiking trails - Chrisdkns
Jul 2019 - $35.00
Although the park is very rustic looking, price was good for the spot we got. overall I would say that a fifth wheel trailer longer than 30 feet in some areas is a no/no. Note: I cannot remember the site number but it was close to the road outside the RV Park. trying to maneuver a 32 foot fifth wheel in the area we were given was really difficult and we had to use four wheel drive to be able to pull out fifth wheel trailer up the steep drive with very loose gravel. The slant to the parking spot was more than I could compensate for so we just decided to put up with it since we only stayed one night Backing in was OK, but getting to the space was a real trial. If it wasn't for the diesel and 4 X 4, we would have been stuck. all else was not bad. - 2008jeep962
Oct 2019 - $65.00
Very expensive for the amenities. Hot tub should be working year round for price they charge. Tables on steep slopes, making them almost unusable. Internet super slow. Loud biker bar across street that blares music into the park. Steep charge for visitors, $5/car + $5/person. Close to Apex park if you want somewhere close to hike. - M_and_L
Oct 2019 - $65.00
We have stayed here before and found it hard to believe the reviews that talked about all the rules and the lack of friendliness. On arrival we realized that this was one of the least friendly parks we have stayed at. From the very beginning the employees where rude. Okay it is their park they can run it any way they want but we will not return. The park is okay for a stay in Denver the sites are just long enough, the sites are close together. The sewer was not useable because it would have taken 2 or more hoses reach. The park is built on a hill and our site was not level. The park is designed for maximum sites and in that they where successful. - sjones
Sep 2019 - $70.00
Park is easy to find; right off highway. Interior roads are a little tight for a big rig but we navigated them well. Nice sites once you got yourself into one. I read that others complained about the biker bar across the street. I do not think the campground should be blamed for their neighbors. Some of the music was actually good enough for us more mature campers. HA. - Couch9748
Jul 2015 - $30.00
The spaces in this park are very narrow & no space to park tow. My slide was almost touching my neighbor. Couldn't open awning because of closeness. Roads are very narrow & poorly maintained. Many old RV's with people living in them. Have 33 ft. rig & had difficulty getting in spot because of cars parked part way in road. Broke passenger mirror because of this issue. In addition, I did not feel safe here. I am a Thousand Trails platinum limited member & will contact them about my concerns, misleading pictures, & representation of this park. - vickie438
Jul 2015 - $35.00
Nothing fancy here, cramped sites, some paved, some gravel. A good sized laundry room that isn't cleaned very often. Nice neighbors, mostly long term residents. No trees, and the grassy areas are marked to keep dogs off. There is a dog walk area. One of several not very destination-like RV parks in the Denver area. The staff is nice. - WanderingWraith
Sep 2014 - $34.00
This was a place to park for a couple of nights. It did have full hookups, but other than that, I can't say much for this place. The sites are so closely jammed together that there isn't room to put your awning out. Dog walk is quite a hike from most RV spaces, and is just a gravel area. Signs at every grassy area warning you to keep your dogs off the grass. I saw a WiFi antenna on top of the laundry building, but could not access the WiFi without signing up and paying, which I don't do. I would not stay here again. - gfs1943

As others have said, this is a rustic campground in the middle of an urban area with not that much road noise all things considered. Plenty of room between sites but took a little time to get leveled. Lots of nice trails in the park. - mojomoho
Sep 2019 - $25.00
25.00 $ a night including electricity up to 50 amps inside an nice park and at the "entrance" of Denver means: THIS IS AN NICE CAMPGROUND, WHERE WE WOULD STAY EVER, when we are in the Denver Region!
You do have enough space for the motorhome and the tow-car! OK, you didn't have water or sewer at the site ..... but look at the price and the region! You are able to use an dump-station and (at an other place) an water-fill station (both at the circle-route round the campground-sites). This campground is well maintained inside an nice park including the lake.
On Labour Day the park was crowded, but inside the campground it was quiet. Only the traffic-noise could be heard, depending on the wind-direction.
When the main-gate is closed, they are opening an other gate only for the campground. This entrance lies hidden. But you gets an map at the check-in, which shows this late-entrance clearly. Better, you have to use this map, but not the GPS, when you are returning late in the evening. - Dietmar
Oct 2018 - $25.00
Nice sites in a wilderness area in the middle of a city. The sites were nowhere near level and the water seemed to have oil in it. A good price for well spaced sites. - Thedogsma
Aug 2019 - $40.00
Right in the heart of town, but the sites were packed in pretty tight. - INLTApilot
Aug 2019 - $65.00
Great experience, tubers were all over the place, that a good thing. - scoots46
Jun 2019 - $43.00
The staff was very friendly and they just happened to have a cancellation that morning where they could fit us in for 2 days. We love the access to bike trails right from the campground and the opportunity to walk downtown to shop and have something to eat. What we don't like is the spaces are very close and no privacy, but that's the give and take for a small city RV park. - Bosleys Mom
Dec 2018 - $40.00
Would not recommend. Nothing more than a parking lot. They turn off the water when it gets cold. They have picnic tables that they place on a hill. Water is every other site. No sewer. No trees. One shower facility. No other amenities. I have been to a number of fairgrounds and like this one the least. Their WiFi requires that you re-login frequently and blocked many sites (Netflix is a good example). Understandable with a large campground, but this one is very small. The wind comes off the mountain with no break. They have no trees or other shade. Don't show up at night unless you have support for backing in. It is pretty dim. - PeteAustin
Jul 2018 - $30.00
Location, location. Finding a spot in the Denver area is very hard. This park is near I70 and U.S. 6. Easy to get to most attractions. Tight spaces and a lot of turnover. Very nice picnic area and playground. Odd requirements to register. You must show proof of ins. and regist. for all vehicles. There are gravel pull throughs long enough for most rvs and nearby tow vehicle parking. A downside is little physical security. Park is open at night with no gate. Sheriff patrols occasionally. We had no problems but would have preferred more controls. Limited 50A sites. We would stay here again. - captaincakes
Jun 2018 - $30.00
Fairly quiet location. Sites are close together so if you have a bunch of slides on both sides and use your awning you aren't going to be happy. Level gravel site. - mrracechaser
Sep 2019 - $40.00
What was I thinking when I booked this park? Good thing we're only staying a few nights. We should have known when the first thing you see when you pull in is a converted school bus with two elderly gentlemen sitting on a milk crate, working on a generator. LOL! Multiple branches dragging along our motorhome as we drove in. All gravel....absolutely no grass. Fairly quiet, considering it's proximity to the freeway and busy roads. Almost all are permanent residents with old RV's that haven't moved in years. Don't do it......stay in Golden, CO. - SewBzzzy
Jun 2019 - $40.00
Second time here. Staff very friendly. Will stay again when in area. Some spaces tight in/out due to parked vehicles. Some hookups may be on wrong side, ask beforehand if you will need extensions. Just like anything around Denver, they are plenty booked from April to Oct--call ahead as early as possible. Park is about 7-8 miles west of central D. Easy access to I-70, but no road noise. Plenty of shopping of all kinds within easy drive. - wingnut60
Jun 2019 - $39.00
Great location for exploring Denver and foothills areas. Staff was very friendly. - BOBJ44212
Jun 2007 - $13.00
Beautiful campground with lots of hiking trails. No reservations are available. There are vault toilets, fire rings, and tables. There is no water. - New Texas Camper
Mar 2017 - $39.00
I don't have dogs or kids. The park is very well groomed, and 6 or 7 sites are nice with some grass. Creek is very nice with trout, but no fishing allowed. No tables or chairs to enjoy the creek. Most sites are on gravel and very close together. I agree with 90% of other reviews. Most owners or hosts are nice and friendly. This one is too, however only when taking your MONEY! Cash only!!!! - danalboone
Aug 2016 - $38.00
Private residence with spaces set up around their home.
The site was located by a beautiful little stream.
Very inconvenient dog walk area. - Pungogirl
Aug 2013 - $39.00
The stream campsites are in the owner's front yard. The "Rule Sheet" you get is a page long filled with more don'ts than do's. Parking and turning around are difficult. We were told they only took credit cards, but upon arrival we had to pay cash. Unfriendly staff. - arobic76
Aug 2019 - $65.00
Great park! Little tough getting there. Central City was a loser if you need want or need to gamble. - scoots46
Aug 2019 - $60.00
This was our first visit here and we enjoyed it. The sites are all concreted and level. Besides the usual picnic table there was a table with chairs which was nice. Electric was good as was the water pressure. The only issue with the site was the drop off from the concrete to gravel was excessive and the baseball size rocks around could cause a twisted ankle. Otherwise the landscaping was nice. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The store is well stocked with supplies and some gift items. The wifi was the best we have encountered in a campground. We were in the upper area which are mostly back in sites except for #1-10 which are pull in for motor homes. The new road from I70 makes access easier but it is still an uphill pull. - RV'er
Aug 2019 - $65.00
Really nice campground. Sites 1-10/12 have beautiful views down into the valley and Central City. They are pull in sites so the view from the windshield of your MHome is really awesome. Nice and level, paved pad. Good hookups. WiFi worked well. Only drawback...no grass for your dogs. Very small dog enclosure with a partial artificial turf pad.however there is an abandoned parking lot next door with some grassy areas and room to walk. Of note, owners were very friendly and helpful. Got a daily greeting and the older gentleman offered to take my trash to the dumpster if he saw me walking with it. - Motorhome girl
