26 RV Parks near Georgetown, Colorado
Mar 2017 - $39.00
I don't have dogs or kids. The park is very well groomed, and 6 or 7 sites are nice with some grass. Creek is very nice with trout, but no fishing allowed. No tables or chairs to enjoy the creek. Most sites are on gravel and very close together. I agree with 90% of other reviews. Most owners or hosts are nice and friendly. This one is too, however only when taking your MONEY! Cash only!!!! - danalboone

Private residence with spaces set up around their home.
The site was located by a beautiful little stream.
Very inconvenient dog walk area. - Pungogirl

The stream campsites are in the owner's front yard. The "Rule Sheet" you get is a page long filled with more don'ts than do's. Parking and turning around are difficult. We were told they only took credit cards, but upon arrival we had to pay cash. Unfriendly staff. - arobic76

This campground has two loops, and we didn't see any sites that were level. They ranged from sites on slopes to sites with so much eroded on edges and down the middle that it would be nearly impossible to get your RV level. Our front tires were all the way up in the air but it still wasn't enough. The trees are a bit sparse, but not too bad. You can easily walk through the middle of the loops if you need to. The worst of it is the noise. This campground is very close to a popular 4x4 area, and the dirt bikes and ATVs are constant. There are signs that say they can't go through the loops, but it doesn't really help. It seems like most of them took a wrong turn and ended up in the campground instead of heading back to town. Even though the campground wasn't the best, we still had a good time. It's an easy way to get to the mountains without having to drive too far from Denver. - OffroadGirl

Great park! Little tough getting there. Central City was a loser if you need want or need to gamble. - scoots46

This was our first visit here and we enjoyed it. The sites are all concreted and level. Besides the usual picnic table there was a table with chairs which was nice. Electric was good as was the water pressure. The only issue with the site was the drop off from the concrete to gravel was excessive and the baseball size rocks around could cause a twisted ankle. Otherwise the landscaping was nice. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The store is well stocked with supplies and some gift items. The wifi was the best we have encountered in a campground. We were in the upper area which are mostly back in sites except for #1-10 which are pull in for motor homes. The new road from I70 makes access easier but it is still an uphill pull. - RV'er

Really nice campground. Sites 1-10/12 have beautiful views down into the valley and Central City. They are pull in sites so the view from the windshield of your MHome is really awesome. Nice and level, paved pad. Good hookups. WiFi worked well. Only drawback...no grass for your dogs. Very small dog enclosure with a partial artificial turf pad.however there is an abandoned parking lot next door with some grassy areas and room to walk. Of note, owners were very friendly and helpful. Got a daily greeting and the older gentleman offered to take my trash to the dumpster if he saw me walking with it. - Motorhome girl

Better USFS campground than Kelly Dahl up the road, and bonus of having cell reception. Hosts were busier than at KD, kept bathrooms very clean (there are even some new ones here). Variety of sites, many reserved for weekends. Pretty wildflowers, lots of space between most sites, and some are almost level. - Annie's Song

Very nice and quiet site to spend a restful getaway. There was a large entryway but some of the sites inside are narrow. It is a very quiet campground and we would choose it again in a heartbeat. - happycampers3a

Just BAD. The ladies shower backs up and you end up standing in backed up drain water. Another visitor there said it was worse than a jail shower. NICE. The campground is noisy. It is advertised as full hook up and once there we were told there was no dump hook up. Ridiculous. The sites are weedy and unkempt. If you have other options-use them. Do NOT stay here. - Kaykaydoo
Jul 2011 - $28.00
This RV park is very sub-par. In a beautiful part of the country, there is no view--it sits down in a valley. Park is not kept up at all. Weeds were up to our knees in the campsite, bathrooms were disgusting. It was so bad, we forfeited the two nights we had paid for when the reservation was made and moved to the nearby KOA (they wouldn't even consider giving us a refund). It's no wonder you have to pay in advance, no one in their right mind would drive in and keep a reservation there otherwise. - Thor MC

Miserable stay! Weeds taller than my child, dirty bathrooms, apathetic staff, and seedy looking clientele led to a bad experience. I did not feel safe here. This place is very run down and it is obvious there have been zero repairs or maintenance since it stopped being a KOA years ago. - Samba
