Stayed here in a deluxe pull through site. This campground has a lot of full time campers here so it felt rather uncomfortable. In the evening they were outside arguing loudly. There was some confusion with our reservation which they blamed on the website reservation service however they did accommodate us. They switched us to a different site and when I requested the good sam discount they said they couldn't do it since I had reserved on line and not clicked that. They were not willing to help with that although the website only says "member", nothing about Good Sam. We went to our site which was wide, however it was short but it worked. There was a storage shed on our space which seemed odd. We were in the middle of people living in their campers. Entire park is gravel. Poor park lighting after dark to walk to restroom. The restrooms were very clean. We only were staying one night on our way elsewhere. Would not stay here again. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

The low rating was for the high cost for an overflow site. Because I can parallel park a 42 foot fifth wheel, we were out of other campers way. Park location was ok but not the easiest to get to. Fuel was close by, but groceries a little farther. Walmart was about 8 miles away. Would stay again as an overnight location if no other park was available. Picnic table was located on electrical/water side of the camper, assuming it was ours. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rocks, rocks everywhere. Site was large "gravel." No grass. Level. Best WiFi we have experienced at any RV park - we could stream YouTube. Bathrooms were immaculate. The women's bathroom had bouquets of fake but bright, colorful flowers-a welcome site. Our site was double wide, so on our door side there was lots of space from neighbor. But site was short-required to disconnect. There was supposed to be cable but when my husband went to office about there seeming to be no place to hook up, they acted surprised. They said they would check, but never did. I believe they know darn well there is no cable at that site. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Premium site with CTV. Pull thru with plenty of room to park the tow vehicle. Gravel with a fence and picnic table. Not far from the freeway but noise not a problem. Staff friendly and helpful. Amenities are not far away, propane at the truck stop was least expensive. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There are lots of places to eat, shop and browse in Grand Junction. The "Elite" site we had was not really worth the extra expense. Many of the other sites do have CTV as well.

This is a very nice park and we would definitely stay here again. We had a pull-thru site that was plenty wide for our slides and awning plus room to park our truck beside the trailer. All utilities worked well, including wi-fi. Our site did not have cable but some sites did have it available. Roads and sites are well-maintained and level gravel. All grass was mowed and everything was neat and well-kept. There were two gravel dog areas plus a small grassy area nearby for those dogs who prefer grass to do their thing. The laundry area was small with only 6 washers and 8 dryers but the appliances were clean and, with one exception, in good working order. The staff was helpful and we were escorted to our site. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park was beautifully maintained. The grassy areas were mowed and watered, all areas were trimmed. The wooden fences that separate each site were freshly painted. No junky RVs in the campground.

Also the electric supply was more than adequate. We had a steady 50 amp even when the a/c was running. The only utility that was less than stellar was the water. Water pressure was very low but that isn't surprising, it's the same in most parks. The office staff was amazing so helpful and friendly and the maintenance fellow was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely come back here again if in the area. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here overnight with the TentsForTroops program. Hosts were very polite and professional. Wide enough pull-through site for me to park the truck next to the trailer after we disconnected. They do have laundry facilities on site but we did not use them. Off-leash pet area was small but well maintained. Close to I-70 but no road noise. No dining or shopping nearby. We WOULD stay here again. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park does live up to the Good Sam rating. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The entire park, including restrooms, is very clean. The entire park is gravel which you would expect for this area. The majority of sites are wide and long, plenty of room to park both trailer and tow vehicle. Wi-Fi connection was good. Park is close to the Interstate but far enough away that you don't hear the noise. Having said all that, this park is set in a light industrial area. There is a LOT of truck traffic. We stayed on a Friday night and the FedEx terminal (about 150 yds away) started up about 5:30 a.m. moving trailers around and incessant backup beepers. The road next to the park is very busy. Things settled down about midnight. I would definitely ask for a site well away from the road. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped here for 4 nights in hot weather. The park has no shade and is a gravel parking lot. It was in the 90's while we were here and when our row (spaces 11-20) filled up, there was a very serious power drop. We measured voltage as low as 106 volts late in the afternoon. This is NOT GOOD!! Many electronics and A/C units will not withstand this low a voltage for very long before sustaining some damage. One of pour "neighbors" was forced to run his generator in order to have enough power for his A/C units to run. I have rated this park a 5 because of their other redeeming factors. The personnel are friendly and helpful, the sites are wide and long enough for big rigs, it is close to I-70, but far enough away so you don't hear traffic at night, they have limited free cable, and a poor to fair WiFi system. The voltage problem is a big deal and I would stay away from the row we were in. We would stay here again when in the area. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Be sure to visit the Colorado National Monument while in Grand Junction. Not suitable for trailer or big rigs, but extremely scenic. Go in your toad on on your motorcycle as the twisty roads are really nice.

We stayed here for a couple nights while we checked out the city of Grand Junction. The staff were very friendly and registration was very easy. The campsites were gravel and very level with lots of space between campsites. Each campsite has its own picnic table. Our nightly rate was the PA rate. The cable hook up did not include the local stations so we ended up using our antenna and that worked great. The WiFi in the park worked very well. We would definitely stay here again. All gravel grounds. Site large enough and set up for side-by-side hookups. Lots of seasonal campers and very large storage area. Park in an industrial/commercial area and not very scenic. Handy to US 6-50, and I 70 although lots of construction in area. I think park is vastly over priced. Raised prices to cover cost of Wi-Fi and cable TV. Cable did not include local channels so we used antenna and had very nice HD. Would not stay here again. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Just a stop for the night. Lots of road construction taking place when we were there so it wasn't the easiest off highway, but still decent. Place is packed with workers for the oil fields. Gravel roads and sites. Fences between pull thru sites that go to each end making it tight to pull out. Dog park was just a fenced off area - they call it "big" but for my dog it wasn't more than a postage stamp. Price was Good Sam with tax. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
