We stayed in Grand Junction for six nights. The park is easy to find and convenient to Grand Junction, Fruita and Highway 70. The park and the RV sites are well-groomed gravel. It is very clean and well maintained. Our space was wide. They had a nice laundry, which I used. It was very clean. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a clean RV park with basic services. Cart escort to our site. Site had a short fence and picnic table. The frontage road had very little traffic. Site was level. We enjoyed golfing and a Bluegrass festival while there. Then we headed to Country Jam music festival. Nice area. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Good check in, level sites, WIFI very Good, Cable Good. Excellent for travelers like us. 2 things only to note: Trash is located at one end of park and quite a walk from our site. Shower heads were at about 5' 6". I stand 6' 4". Thats a bit a problem. Suggest they instand handhelds. Will stay here again! We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Campground is a graveled lot in a commercial neighborhood. It is located near I-70 and Route 50 for easy access. After check in, we were guided to our site which was very clean. FHUs are available along with a picnic table. Good satellite availability for those with a satellite dish. Good cell service is available. The laundry room is the cleanest we have ever seen, the machines are cleaned daily. This is a very well run RV park. The owner is always available to take care of any concerns. The service provided by the staff is top-notch. We stayed for 10 days. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

I read some of the other reviews of this campground. I don't know where they were parked but it certainly wasn't our experience. Very friendly staff, escorted to site. We're driving a 45' motorhome, towing, and we were guided in to accommodate our rig and toad. Roads and site are large pebble as opposed to gravel. All resources worked well. The width of the roadway made parking a big rig easy! We will definitely return! We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

My wife and I have traveled 45k miles through 41 states in the past nine years and we have never encountered finer Customer Service than we received at Junction West RV Park.

Due to a family emergency, we had been forced to cancel most of our previously planned summer space reservations and were without a confirmed reservation for Labor Day.

While traveling north through Denver in route to Montana, my wife decided to called JW RV Park to see if they had anything available for the Labor Day weekend that would tie into a confirmed September reservation we had retained at the Grand Junction KOA. To our good fortune, Lisa answered the phone and informed my wife the park was booked full, but they had just had a cancellation and she told us to 'come on', they had a space for us. Upon arrival we were guided to our space and assisted with parking.

The park has a great view of the Grand Mesa to the west and we've seen many wonderful sunrises and sunsets during our stay.

JW has some of the largest (70 ' x 40') pull-throughs we have ever encountered with rail fence dividers between each space and nice picnic tables. The surface is gravel, but has very little dust issues due to the type of gravel used. The streets within the park are 33' wide, so there no issues for larger coaches towing. Utility connections are handy, but you will need a long coaxial cable if you require cable. The water pressure was a bit lower than we usually encounter, but nothing of concern. JW is located near I-70, but excessive noise is not an issue. There's a Love's on the access road if you require fuel and the park is located ~4 miles from numerous restaurants and grocery markets.

The Maintenance Staff is continually roaming the park conducting routine checks, up keep and improvements, but are prompt to deal with any issue you encounter during your stay.

The Owners & Staff are top notch. Great park.

Rate based on daily, weekly & monthly during our stay. Daily =$43 w/GS. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Motorhome.

We really enjoyed this park. The staff was super friendly and attentive (and even brought us some amazing home grown tomatoes one day), and the facilities are clean and easy to access. We had a back-spot with a great patch of green grass. Stayed two nights. No complaints. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice park and we would definitely stay here again. We had a pull-thru site that was plenty wide for our slides and awning plus room to park our truck beside the trailer. All utilities worked well, including wi-fi. Our site did not have cable but some sites did have it available. Roads and sites are well-maintained and level gravel. All grass was mowed and everything was neat and well-kept. There were two gravel dog areas plus a small grassy area nearby for those dogs who prefer grass to do their thing. The laundry area was small with only 6 washers and 8 dryers but the appliances were clean and, with one exception, in good working order. The staff was helpful and we were escorted to our site. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a GS park. It is also a PA park except the summer season is exempt. Take I-70 west from Denver to exit 26. Turn right on Hwy 6 & 50 1/4th mile to 22 Road at a signal. The park is a short distance on the left. This is a well-designed park with wide gravel roads and wide level sites with a picnic table. Your toad fits nicely beside the RV with the picnic table or at the back. Many with 40 + foot motorhomes did not unhook the toad while here. Most short term sites are very close to the office. The WiFi was very good. Verizon service was strong. There is a little road noise, but it is not bothersome. There are some activities for kids at the park. There are a few trees that might block roof mounted dome service, but they do have cable at your site with many channels. "Local" Dish service comes out of Denver. The sites have 2 dump locations depending on where you want to connect. Power was a bit weak in the afternoon when the temp went over 100-degrees. We would return to this park. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very well maintained park with friendly staff. Escort to site. There seem to be a lot of long-term residents in the park. The park is situated in an industrial area and there is a lot of noise early in the morning from nearby businesses. A good stop for a few days. We camped at Junction West RV Park in a Motorhome.
