BEWARE!! Made reservations 2 months ahead. Picked out our favorite spot. Showed up and they said they moved us to another spot. The reason was the person in the spot wanted to spend 2 more nights. We were scheduled for 6 nights. They didn't care to honor our reservation! Don't expect warm and fuzzy from the receptionist. Loved the campground, not the person running it. Our next door camper was staying 1 week and wanted to stay for another week. He was told he had to move because someone was coming in for 2 nights.

OK - positive aspects of the campground - our opinion - best campground in the Pahgosa Springs area. Most sites are spacious and level. The campground is off the main road so it is quiet. At least 50 to 60% of sites are under tall pines, another plus. Bathrooms, showers and laundry very clean. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nothing special here, gravel sites are long and easy to maneuver. Wi-Fi in our site was good. #35 No cable, my complaint was the service wasn't very friendly. Not helpful at all. They have a exercise room , pool and hot tub but campers are not allowed to use. Probably won't be back, there are lots of good.rv parks in the area. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here 4 days in Site #1. Site was very sloped, needed a lot of blocks. All the other sites appeared to be much more level however. Very nice, clean park. Sites well spaced, large Ponderosa Pines scattered throughout. Quiet, even though next to the small airport. Small laundry was clean, but doesn't open until 9:30 a.m. Staff not very friendly, acted as if we were bothering them. Very convenient when visiting Pagosa Springs. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

When we first entered the park, the road was asphalt and it looked very nice. Then you turn into the RV section and everything is gravel. The sites are all back-ins but the roads and sites are wide so it is easy to maneuver. In fact, our site was wide enough to park our truck next to our RV. There is a small grass/dirt strip between each site. Our site was higher in the middle and sloped down to the sides so that when we were finished leveling, our tire were off the ground on the utility side. We got several OTA channels and 3 bars 4G with ATT. The park WiFi was unreliable. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Chimney Rock National Monument is definitely worth the trip. They have 2-hour guided trips that take you through the ruins. They even have free, shaded kennels if you need a spot for your dog. Bring water as there is no running water on site.

This park is wonderful!! Our site was long and level. Water pressure was very good. The park is clean and landscaped very well. It is also a very quiet park, which we really appreciated. Lots of space between sites, so you're not crammed up against your neighbor. The park is close to all the fun things to do in Pagosa Springs, and only an hour from Durango. We will definitely stay here again! We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The Springs (hot springs) are amazing. Durango is an hour away and worth checking out for the steam train and historic downtown. Highly recommend renting a Slingshot (also in Durango) and taking the drive to Silverton and Ouray.

We stayed 8 nights so we paid weekly plus electric, very reasonable. Park is a short distance from the highway, the GPS took us directly to the address. A small park with back-up only. Most sites are fairly level but ours (28), we had to purchase a stool to help get into the coach. No big deal. They are pet friendly with a very nice dog park. We were there in early June. The facility looked full, reservations are recommended. We will stay again if in the area. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a nice small and quiet RV park. The location is far enough out of downtown Pagosa Springs to avoid the crowds yet close enough to get into town easily. Each site is plenty wide and the one like I am in is extremely long. It is easy to navigate as there is only one loop. It is located next to a small county airport but while we were hear for 4 nights we only heard three planes flying. Utilities are good but on our site the sewer hookup is literally right below the fresh water hookup which I found a little odd. And the fresh water hookup is about 6 inches off the ground. There are some trees but not enough to block any satellite dish. For OTA TV we were able to get NBC, CBS, Comet, and This. Check-in was easy but to be honest, the manager was not very sociable. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice little park, this was our 3rd visit, and will be back next year. Reservations are highly recommended as the park is not very large, and spaces go quickly. Nice big spaces, and about as level as you can get. Very nice pavillion with tables, sink, etc. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

All gravel, mostly level, clean grounds, only quarter mile from hwy but very quiet. Price seemed reasonable ($43 plus tax). Some sites are shady, some not. Our site (#26) was full sun. Wifi seemed fast as RV parks go. Set of bathrooms/showers at front and back of park, both very clean. Back showers have no private area to dry/dress/hang clothes - all was done in a hallway. Front shower was larger with drying/dressing area, thus even though our site was near the back, we always used the front facilities. Enjoyed our stay and would come again if in area. Gravel sites, very close together. Our site 34, had no shade or tree(s). Laundry fees were outrageous- $8 to wash/dry 2 loads and no folding table. Hot tub was only available to motel guests. Good location and quiet. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were blown away by the wildlife that we could see out our back window at the Mountain Landings Suites and RV Park in Pagosa Springs Colorado. Both GPS devices brought us right to the park. The gal at checkin was friendly and had a great recommendation for food at Marconi's which we tried that night and once more for lunch. The park roads and sites are gravel. We had a backin this time and shock of all shocks we did it like champs. The hookups were convenient. The Verizon phone coverage was pretty good but the Verizon 4g was very spotty and slow most of the times with frequent shifts to 3g. We found that to be the case in town also. The park wifi was a little better than the Verizon 4g so we used that most of the week. Although there were trees we had called ahead to make sure we got a satellite friendly site and we ended up with a great line of sight for our roof mounted dish. We had a so so week weather wise but the wildlife out our back window more than made up of that. Pagosa Springs is such a great area we would probably visit again. If we did we would stay here again. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

WE really enjoyed this quite wooded RV park. The campground was immaculate, the showers, laundry, restrooms were spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful. Most site had partial shade, a few did not not. The sites were spacious and most were long, easily handling the largest rigs. Downtown Pagosa was minutes away and all stores were also minutes away. We were here in the later part of May and he weather was perfect. I would definitely return to this RV park again. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Great park and the staff was diligently working throughout our visit. They were picking up pine cones, mowing the grass, and very attentive to our needs, although we didn't have any big ones. Every night, the deer would roam through the north-side of the park. It was relatively quiet. We had 4G/LTE on AT&T, which was good since the wifi was quite poor. Tips for other Campers:

Be sure to get a spot in the 20's that backs to open space. That is where the deer are during the morning and evening. It provides a lot of privacy. Also, do the four mile creek falls hike. And, if you plan to trail run or mountain bike, Turkey Springs trail system is just a few minutes away.

Overall Rating:

I don't recall if the price included a discount, but we thought it was a bit expensive. This park closes at the end of October for the season. The park is big rig friendly, easy in/out. Check-in was efficient and friendly. Sites are nicely spaced and large, and there are spaces that would accommodate the largest rig. Interior roads and sites are hard packed gravel. There are pine trees throughout the park, but they don't interfere with parking. Our site was level. There are a couple of shelves near the storage facility that have leveling blocks available, if they're needed. There is a fenced dog area. It was nice to see deer roaming through the park. It was a slow time when we were there, but we did notice that when other RVs arrived they weren't assigned a space right next to another RV. Although the sites are nicely spaced, it was nice to have sites around us empty so that we could enjoy the view. We didn't check out the restrooms or laundry. There was a picnic table at each site, but no fire rings since the park is in the city limits and fires are not allowed. There is a car/RV wash in town. Verizon data was extremely slow. We camped at Mountain Landing Suites & RV Park in a Motorhome.
