Sep 2017 - $86.00
September 21- $86 for two people including a $10 dog fee. This includes use of the three hot pools and sauna as well as breakfast in the morning. Clean restrooms and showers. I was unaware of the free wifi until I saw the sign for it during breakfast. After several days of travel this was a welcome place to stop and relax. - ForestWalker
Aug 2017 - $55.00
Wonderful scenery of mountains with bonus of a HOT SPRINGS SPA. The rate includes use of the hot spring pools plus breakfast. The parking is in a field with some gravel. The hook-up is only for electric, 30 & 50 AMP. (No water or sewer dump) There is a shower house, bathroom and kitchenette area. Also a few short hiking trails. I stayed here 3 nights, met many lovely people. - Lilly Flower
Oct 2015 - $48.00
Have to agree with the other reviewer, everything was exactly as described and the wifi was fast and free. Loved this place, will return again! (We camped at a cheaper rate because the park was full and we were able to boondock in the tent section). - LiveWorkDream
Jul 2018 - $32.00
The spaces are all pull through and very large and level. They have tables, fire pits and full hookups. A building close by has restrooms, showers, a stove and refrigerator that is stocked with water and soft drinks that are for the taking on the honor system. It is off the highway far enough to be very quiet. We will definitely stay again if we are that way! - Jon M
Jun 2018 - $12.00
Antelope and mule deer walking within 100 yards of my patio. Couple of full timers. Wi Fi, AT & T signal and Dish signal work fine. 50 amp service, shade trees and good mountain water. Sitting here on a Sunday morning feels like no one is within 10 miles of me . My rate is reflective of the $350 monthly rate . - goingtoenjoy
May 2018 - $46.00
We stayed overnight on the way to CO Springs. The owners are friendly and were responsive to the issues we had (clogged sewer & water pressure). However, the price was way too high for what we got. - Idcruiserman

This is an especially nice forest service campground. It was recently renovated and all sites are very nice with a new picnic tables, crushed graveled sites, and restrooms. I especially recommend site 12 and 32 as they have more space between the other sites.
The only issues we had with this campground is the host seemed to have no control over the place. We were camped next to a group who ran there generator for 14 hours a day despite the "quiet time" rules. There was also trash in the restrooms and well over the limit of people per site. This honestly ruined the experience here for me as I enjoy a least some quite time when I head to the woods! Otherwise the campground itself was very nice. - Mesa RN
Sep 2014 - $9.00
O'Haver Lake is one of the gems of the forest service. It is an extremely popular campground, and has recently been closed for renovation. As a result, all the sites are longer, and flatter, and accommodate larger rigs. You will need a reservation (on recreation.gov) for the summer months. We arrived on Labor Day and had a choice of nice sites. Lakefront sites are available. There is a trail around the lake used by fishermen. If you want to hike more, you can open a gate and hike further up into the mountains. OHVs are not allowed in the campground. And now for the downside. The last section of road up to this campground is gravel, and steep, and twisty. The lake is surrounded by mountains of 3 sides, so not much of a cell signal. There are no hookups, but there were unthreaded water faucets. The vault toilets were cleaned daily. No showers. Trash service is provided, with bear resistant dumpsters. Elevation is 9,200 ft., so it gets chilly and night. But if you make the effort to get here, it's like camping in an RV ad! The price we paid reflects the federal senior discount. - midcenturynana
