We have been a seasonal camper for nine years and have enjoyed every year. They have an excellent staff that are always willing to assist. If I could, I would give them a 10 plus rating. Spend a weekend to enjoy the resort, and you will return. Especially if you have kids. They will love the splash pad. We camped at Odetah Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a really nice park, with old growth trees and well maintained sites and property. First time back in about seven years and we weren't disappointed. We camped for a Halloween weekend, the events, check in, and rides were all well organized. Look forward to our next visit. We camped at Odetah Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Pros; nice wooded site and the lake is beautiful, WiFi. Cons; lots of rules, wristbands, only one dump station in a bad location, no cable at the site. Power was in the middle of the site and really could have been in the back. Needed extension cord. We camped at Odetah Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Nice campground, hardly a "resort". Fairly level grass/dirt back-in sites. Full hookup 50 amp available, which we used. Nice pool and lake side swimming areas. Pretty well maintained and not too far from I-95. For the bad side: No signage from freeway, state road or city streets. Not even the entry. The total COMBINED IQ of the staff must be in low 100s. They are absolutely clueless about EVERYTHING. Can't check you in, can't get you to a site, can't give you a receipt, can't explain why there is no WiFi when promised etc., etc. We are easy to please, this is not sour grapes. Save yourself the headache and stay somewhere else. We camped at Odetah Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Campground was not crowded on the weekend we were there. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was early in the season so the campground is getting up and running. Only negative is the road noise at the site we were in. The 50 amp full service sites back up next to a busy highway. We camped at Odetah Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

What a wonderful place. Love the fact that it's the exact opposite of one of those big flat paved parking lot cg's. The winding (and hilly) roads add so much charm. The "alphabet" section we were in (site B) has tiered, level, wide, wooded FHU sites. Everybody and everything here is geared for your pleasure. For once I'm not complaining about having ANY tv. Can't wait for the opportunity to go back. We camped at Odetah Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We have stayed at Odetah twice this camping season. We enjoyed our stay both times. The sites are a good size and the bathrooms are clean. The check in process was fast and organized. The trolley car is convenient, however both times we were here we had difficulty getting a ride. It seems as though children used this as an activity. The activities for the children were appropriate but the staff running the activities didn't engage and organize things well. The live music was great.

The pool is located in a shady area of the campground which has its benefits. The pool could be larger. It was very hot our 2nd visit and the pool was extremely crowded. The splash pad construction is underway so that will help. The lake was nice. We kayaked and swam on our first trip. The 2nd trip the lake was too low but this obviously was out of the campground's control. The bugs were vicious but again out if the campground's control. Overall very nice campground. We camped at Odetah Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is one of the prettiest parks I have ever seen. The staff was great and the site was nice and large. The lake was actually warm for a nice swim. I would love to have spent more time in this park. I would stay here again. We camped at Odetah Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

This was my second time to campground. This park has a large population of seasoning campers and many cabin and tent sites. There isn't a large amount of full hookup sites available for weekly or weekend visits. The bathrooms are pretty basic and could use a full makeover. The dog park has to be the worst I have even been to. It's stuck up some dirt road off the beaten path. Also, not a very big rig friendly park. On the positives, the staff is very friendly and the activities are excellent. The grounds are well kept, and beach area is a great feature. Tennis and basketball courts are excellent. Overall nice park. We camped at Odetah Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

It is hard to tell how great this campground is since we are here very early in the season and a lot of the amenities are not open yet but I will start with saying the staff is very friendly and helpful. The sites are spacious and all are very level. We camped in the back of the campground. It is very wooded and quiet. The top area of the campground, which offers full hook ups is near a busy highway with the sounds of jake breaks and traffic . It is very loud in this area. There is a heated pool and jacuzzi with later hours of 10pm for children but open til midnight for adults. The beach is nicely kept with shade and sun. It also appears there is a water trampoline that goes in the water during the summer. Boats are available to rent and fishing is allowed. We are looking forward to returning in the warmer months. Attention Dog Owners! This is not a dog friendly campground. Dogs are not allowed to be walked outside except at the dog park. Dogs cannot be walked to the dog park from your site. They must be driven in your vehicle. Big rig back-in sites #40-50 are along a noisy highway with late night casino traffic. Optional large pull-thru sites (with 50 amp) #224-229 do not have black water sewer (grey only). These sites require navigating to the rear of the park along narrow, bumpy, dusty roads under low hanging tree branches. In this area satellite reception is non-existent. The park offers no cable service to sites. We camped at Odetah Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here many years ago in a cabin when our children were smaller and had a good time. We are now seasonal campers at a nearby campground and attempted to stop in and visit with relatives that were camping there. We stopped in Saturday night around 7PM intending to stay for about an hour, but never made it past the gate. They wanted $50 for us to come in as visitors. That's $15 per adult and $10 per child for 1 hour of using zero of their facilities. My husband almost paid by pulling out his debit card when he was then told CASH only... We had $30 on us which would have been the fee with $5 each returned upon our leaving but they still insisted we would have to go to the ATM for the full $50. We left never having stopped in to visit. That has to be the most insane visitors fee I have even encountered when entering a campground. If we were staying for the day that would be one thing, but for one hour in the evening no and no we will never go back. We camped at Odetah Camping Resort in a Campground Cabin.

We stayed for two nights midweek in the summer. We picked a site(167) far away from the highway so we had peace & quiet. Site was clean, trash is picked up daily. Lake with a trampoline in it is nice. Lots of stuff to keep families busy. Free wi-fi is a plus but it is very unreliable so don't plan on using it much. Verizon signal is poor, AT&T decent. I wouldn't say it's very resort-like but more like a nice campground. We would return although it's not one of the best values we've seen. We camped at Odetah Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here as a seasonal during the summer of 2012. I would gladly give this place a 10 + review. Their staff are extremely helpful and very courteous. The bathrooms and shower areas were very clean and attended to on a regular basis. The grass areas were cut and trimmed weekly. We stayed in site 241 (which is on a dead end, up a good sized hill). They offer lots of activities for both the adults and kids. The resort has a heated outdoor pool and hot-tub. Our only gripe with this place is the lack of supervision in the pool area; too often children would play in the hot-tub even though the posted signs stated under 16 not allowed. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Odetah Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
