May 2019 - $15.00
Interagency 50% discount rate for two nights. Site was a large, level, paved back-in site with on-site water and 50 amp service. Each site has a covered picnic table. A dump station is available in the park. We had good satellite reception and good Verizon cell and data reception. This is a very nice COE park that is convenient to Ft Myers. It is very quiet at night. We have stayed here several times and would stay here again. - Dave51
Apr 2019 - $30.00
With the exception of one site, they are open, wide, deep & easy to maneuver into. W & E only with easy access to dump station. Friendly staff, covered picnic tables, 2 pavilions & located on the Caloosahache River. We will definitely return. - Rimdel
Jan 2019 - $15.00
This is the best rv park we have ever stayed in. The space between sites, the manicured grounds, beautiful views , concrete pads... The list goes on. The campground is a super nice size of 30 sites and all but a few are on the water. The camp hosts were not only friendly but very efficient. - KatChuck
Mar 2017 - $33.00
We stopped here overnight, its about 20 min from Ft Myers Fl. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Looks like a nice snowbird campground without all the bells and whistles of the high dollar resorts in the area. There is no shade in the campground. Full hook ups but the water has a smell. Campground is on the grounds of a nice church retreat and borders the Caloosahatchee River. - Psi500
Feb 2015 - $23.00
We swung by looking for a future campground. It was very promising with a well wooded entrance. We stopped at the office to get literature, the keeper talked to us, she was very nice, we got permission to go to the RV park and take a look. We drove through nice woods and came out to the RV park and there it was, a loop on the open plains, no trees, and the motor homes sardined in full sun with no trees or brush. I was so disappointed we just left. For those that don't mind, the inexpensive rate may be fine. - drsolo
Mar 2011 - $23.00
Riverside Retreat has a campground/RV park open to all. Also hosting a camp for churches, organizations, schools, etc. the campground/RV park is separate from that camp area. Situated on the Caloosahatchee River, Riverside Retreat's motto is, "It's the Nature of the Place." It is a quiet park in a natural setting. You may spy gopher tortoises, bobcats, or armadillos on any of the hiking paths. Canoe or kayak the Caloosahatchee. The roads and sites are not paved, but it is a full hook-up campground with a friendly staff. We highly recommend this little gem of a campground. We visit every winter. - Dawn1955
May 2019 - $100.00
RiverBend is 17 miles east of I-75 in Fort Myers in the little town of LaBelle. Roads throughout the resort are paved and wide and each site is roomy with a concrete or paver pad. There is a staging area in the front of the resort for removing the car or trailer. Pads are level and utilities are mid site of the pad. Power and water pressure good. They are in the process of installing high speed Wi-Fi at each site which will be up and fully operational late summer. Satellite reception good and OTA good. Verizon signal two to three bars in our location. We have traveled across most of the country in our motorhome and can honestly say this is the nicest location at which we have stayed. One reason is that the sites are nicely spaced with lots of private space, and the other is the residents who reside there. During peak season there are endless activities and really friendly folks all around. They have a pool and club house, a lovely clubhouse by the river, and an activity center for crafts as well as their welcome center A really spectacular spot. Will definitely return. - LvR
Apr 2019 - $100.00
This campground feels like an upscale neighborhood. Manicured landscaping and beautiful sites with many beautiful lake views. very private. If I lived up north and wanted to spend a month or two in Florida I would buy a lot there. So many activities and friendly people. The realtor and is such a nice guy. - golfnut788
Feb 2019 - $130.00
This is absolutely the best Motorcoach Resort we have stayed at!! We were so impressed by the grounds and the meticulous details (scrubing the curbs and wiping down the street lights) Once you arrive you don't want to leave! We were renters but were welcomed from the time we arrived. It is really a community of owners and renters that all pitch in to make this place very special. Their are activities that begin at 8:00 and some days go until.... Sunset on the Caloosahatchee River is breathtaking! The facilities are top notch! They have a big beautiful club house that has an activity room, library, pool room and bar. The swimming pool is very large and also has a nice clubhouse with kitchen, workout area, laundry, showers. Around the pool are two hot tubs as well as shuffleboard, putting green, picnic facility. The owners have also added a race track with miniature cars, their own miniature railroad, and on Wednesdays you can watch miniature sailboat races. Pickleball Courts are top notch as well. The resort is just 20 minutes from I75 and very easy to access. The small town of LaBelle is 10 minutes and a new Walmart is 5 minutes away. Although it seems you are out in the country everything was still very convenient. We did venture into Ft. Myers which is about 40 minutes for dinner a couple of times but after experiencing the traffic we actually couldn't wait to get back to the quiet of the resort. We stayed here for 6 weeks and loved every minute of it! Can't wait to go back next winter!!!! - Susan Davis

Dec 2015 - $50.00
We didn't do the daily rate, stayed a month for $700.
Beautiful, clean, friendly park but waaaaay overpriced.
Mostly permanent mobiles and "florida homes" with about 15% RV's.
Right on the river (from Lake O all the way to the Gulf at Ft. Meyers), with its own launch ramp and docks.
Joined some friends during our winter in "the south", just to check it out.
The entire place revolves around their "activities".....ain't my thing.
Management is stiff, formal, and unyielding, but "inmates" are very nice.
If you have the money and get excited over shuffleboard, this is the place. - MajorOz
Jan 2015 - $30.00
This was a very nice, clean, well kept park. The rate reflects weekly price. All utilities functioned properly. This is a retirement community with park homes and rv's. It is very quiet with nice area by the river. If you are looking for a lot of activities or things for the kids this may not be your place. If you are looking for a good nights sleep this is for you. I can not speak to the bath house we did not use. - goheelsone
Apr 2019 - $68.00
Contacted office prior to arrival and staff was helpful/friendly. We were given the military rate which is 2o% off an 88$ rate. We were coming from Lee Civic center which was about 1.5 miles away and they allowed us to be on site prior to 11:00 on a Sunday. Must have waited for us as office is typically closed on Sunday. They guided me to our site. I asked for a pull through and site was sufficient for my 24' M/H and tow attached. We overlooked canal channel. I went looking for dog park which was listed on map, however told by resident that park has been eliminated for parking. They also have built an additional 57 (I think) new sites in front of pool area (and have been told they are spoken for already..in open and near road). Park is close to I-75 and many attractions. If I owned a boat and wanted access to bigger waters, this is the park. Each park model on the canal has a dock. I imagine in full snowbird season this place will be full. - ownedafew
Nov 2017 - $60.00
We stayed here from Nov. To Feb. Enjoyed the great friendly environment and lots of activities. Great warm pools! Boat club lets you access rides on other campers' boats to eat at waterfront restaurants in the area. As well, there is a captain who will take you out deep sea fishing for a nominal fee. Local restaurant is very popular with everyone (you could walk there). We hope to come back next year. - George2004
Apr 2017 - $63.00
We were just passing through. Staff took us to the site. Was a good concrete pad, but not totally level. Water connection leaked a little, so I had to over tighten and remove my filter. Grounds are very nice, mostly snow birds. Very attractive campground and would easily stay there again, although a little pricey, then again, that's Florida. - BWolfAR
Mar 2019 - $45.00
Well maintain RV Resort $1298.00 month plus electricity. This is expensive, but for southern Florida, in prime season, it is not an outrageous price. The roads are paved and easy to maneuver around. The sites are level pavers with a patio. The sites are well spaced out with grass between each one. Premium sites face 2 different lakes with beautiful views. All sites are pull-in, so the lakes can be seen through the windshield. Several sites are pull thru, and many back ins away from the lakes. The sites are 80 feet long, plenty of space for tow vehicles and trailers. All the utilities worked well, are convenient, and easy to hook up. There is a heated swimming pool, pickle ball courts, horse shoes, shuffle board, pet area, and a club house. The club house has a game room, DVDs, books, kitchen, and a stage. The grounds are a work in progress, nicely landscaped but immature - the park is only 2 years old. The laundry has four washers and four dryers at $2.00 to wash and $1.75 to dry. The laundry, bath house, showers and pools are very clean and well kept. Breakfast is offered a couple days a week, pot lucks, socials, and special events are on going. There are several park model cabins on site. The other guests are very welcoming and friendly. It is too new for many cliques to be formed. The staff is courteous and helpful. They are still build. - Pacatrader
Mar 2018 - $32.00
If I could give this Resort a higher score than 10, I would. This is their 1st full year....brand new.....& they are still building & adding on. All sites are brick pavers & all include patios & beautiful landscaping. Beautiful lake surrounded by a brick paver walkway. 2nd lake being added in the new section. All RVs except for the Park Model Village off to the side. This place is beautiful & has the nicest & most fun & welcoming people we've ever met. Dan & Lorraine, the owners are super accommodating & will do everything they can to make this place even better. We can't wait for next year. It will be a grand Homecoming. Coming next year will be an on-site Restaurant, General Store, an organic gardens. Already on-site is a Beauty Shop. - GrannyJ
Aug 2017 - $58.00
Excellent New RV Resort - They are still finishing this resort. It is about 2/3 complete. The sites are all full hook-up and are very large and very nice. There is plenty of room for large RVs along with whatever other vehicle you have (Tow or Towed). All of the sites are paved with pavers and will have tables and grills for your use. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is already one bathhouse and supposedly another on the way. The laundry room has four sets of large capacity machines. The meeting/clubhouse is just about complete. Stay at one of the sites along the lake for wonderful views of sunrise/sunsets, depending on which way you face. - ben31rv
Jan 2019 - $35.00
We are full-time campers. I booked this campground six months out for three months January through March. We got there at three in the afternoon, but the office was closed and no one there to greet us. We found an open site and spent the night. The next morning the manager told us we had to move to an unkept site in the back or at the old dump station. This was not acceptable to us so I asked for my $250 refund back and they refused. I would think twice about booking at this place. - John Shilling
Feb 2016 - $25.00
This older campground seems to be slowly deteriorating. Sites can be close or very spaced. Landscaping is neglected. The best part of this campground are the wonderful residents. There was no activity in the Chiki-Hut and few other activities. The Shuffleboard court is in sad shape with cracks and weeds growing through the court. The hot tub was a nice 102 degrees, but had lots of leaves in it. The pool was never above 72 degrees and usually empty. The was a problem with the water, and we had to find out from the neighbor not to drink it. We should have been informed by management The roads in the park are deteriorating and in need of repairs. Our site had a shared access with two other sites. The monthly rate was $730. We will not return. - Summer Minnesotan
Mar 2011 - $32.00
This is an older campground that boasts mature pine and palm trees and "grass" between sites. Quite a variation in site dimensions but mostly comfortable for spacing. Grass is not watered any more so is rather brown and sparse in the winter months. Nice paved streets and concrete parking slabs with side extension for table and chairs. Picnic tables provided. Perhaps 50% Permanent sites. Very friendly residents. Morning breakfast in Chiki-Hut by volunteers. Some activities. Shuffleboard, Horseshoe pits seldom used but in nice shape. Hot tub at 102, Pool at 80. Monthly rate about $650. Walking distance to Groceries. Closest spots a block from street making for rather quiet surroundings. - easydoesit
Dec 2017 - $43.00
We stayed here last year and again this year. What a charming place! The staff is very welcoming, as is nearly everyone in the park. This is mainly a co-op with mobile homes and park models, but another area for RV's. Some sites are on the water. Some pull throughs as well as back-ins. Everything is well maintained and sites are large enough that you don't feel crowded. No issues with water, electric or sewer. They provide a bin for recycling, if you are going to be there a week or longer. Good paved interior roads and large cement patio. No picnic tables. No fires permitted. Cable not included. Considering what the winter rates are in this area, this is a very good value. Hoping to be able to stay longer next time we visit the area! - Vicki K
Nov 2016 - $63.00
The staff was very friendly and accommodating, we asked for a pull through site at the last minute and they found one without making a fuss. It was wonderful! It's a large over 55 park, mostly park models, with a section for RVs. Paved roads, and gravel parking area, with a concrete patio that ran almost the whole length of the rig. Good WiFi. No real shade, but it was fine with us, as we used the satellite for TV. There is no cable. Good electric/sewer/water hookups. We would stay here again without hesitation. - Vicki K
Apr 2016 - $17.00
We stayed here on the Passport America weekly rate of $120. This is south Florida at the end of the snowbird season. The rate is only good for a one week stay. We stayed here to be near North Trail RV in order to do an RV inspection for a client. Things got pushed back so we had to stay here two weeks. The park manager honored the PA rate for the second week! Awesome customer service!! This RV park is located at the back of the park in its own area. Dogs are allowed in the park area but not anywhere else. The rest of the place is park models. The sites are nice, rocks and shells with a big concrete patio. The rest is well-maintained grass. The park is nice. We will return if we have need to be in this area. - Howard Jaros
May 2019 - $67.00
Great resort. Beautiful back in site on a small lake. We were escorted to our site with good back assist. Management was accommodating. Pool was great, neighbors friendly creating an overall fun atmosphere. We will return. - Russ60
Apr 2019 - $60.00
We stayed at Cypress Trails for three months, Jan-March. We looked at other parks in the area and could not find anything that compared with this place. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy, or you can be as busy as you want to be. We would probably go back but when we left we were hearing that the monthly rate was going up from $1760 to $2500. That was not set in stone so it could be less than that once they decide what the final amount will be. You will not find a nicer, cleaner place to stay. Relatively close to the beaches. Close to downtown and all the restaurants, shopping and other places. - Hoosier 1
Feb 2019 - $90.00
Beautiful park. Easy access off I-75 but far enough to not hear traffic. Camping World is close by so that was a bonus. A little off the beaten path for Fort Myers and Cape Coral areas, but way less traffic to deal with. Everything is accessible from I-75. Very quiet gated RV park with a mix of mostly full-time lot owners and transients like us. We were not treated any differently than the full-timers. Our site was located on the very east side of the park in the newly constructed area. We had a full service site with 50 amp including wifi and cable. Wifi modem supplied by the park, you have to supply own router, and streamed Netflix with no issues. Power was supplied to our area by 2 huge generators as a temporary fix for electrical issues, and worked great except for 1 day when we lost all power for 3 hours. Large paver lots with easy back-in plus large green spaces. Dogs are allowed. Our RV is over 10 years old so we had to email pics of it to park management for pre-approval. Not a huge deal. Kids are allowed. Lots of rules (you get a booklet) but they weren't overbearing in enforcing them (use common sense and you'll be fine). People very friendly. 2 areas with water views and viewing docks. Typical park activities (we didn't partake) including gym. - lazylen7
