Sep 2019 - $37.00
It's people who make or break any campground visit and these authentic Australian owners are amazing. Over Labor Day weekend, owners offered coffee and cookies each morning in the charming office. Guests could enjoy "Crocodile Dundee" in the afternoon and free Aussie sausages/snacks were an enjoyable cookout bonus as we sat meeting other friendly campers. Yes, it's under renovation but one can easily catch their vision. Give them time! The duck pond and landscaping is lovely and peaceful. They even have a free dog wash area! Since we evacuated during Hurricane Dorian, we forgot our pup's dog treats, so the owner generously gave us some. Can't wait to return to see them - arrived as guests - left as friends! - Travelingal
Jun 2019 - $35.00
This campground is a work in progress. The new owners are renovating clubhouse, office and adding a swimming pool. When upgrades are complete this will be a nice place to stop for a night or spend a few days. The new restrooms and showers are very nice. Biggest showers I have seen in a campground with rain shower heads. - Herb Richards
Mar 2019 - $33.00
We understand these are new owners and need time to make improvements. We had a reservation but our assigned site was already occupied. With approval of the office, we parked in the only other unoccupied site that was long enough. Park roads are very rutted and narrow. Mostly long term residences and lots of construction vehicles on the property.
No grass or cable here. Also no picnic table or fire ring but then again no space to put them in.
This is an overnight and we’ll make due. - Boomerific
Jun 2019 - $18.00
This was a nice park. The campsites were set up in a circle around the Restroom /shower area. The campground roads were gravel, site was fairly level. Grounds were fairly well maintained. Not got for biking but had a nice hiking trail that lead to the waterfall. There was a beach area for swimming (gotta watch out for alligators though and yes there was a posted sign). Water/50amp electric hookup no sewer but dump station nearby. We stayed 2 nights. We would stay here again. - Jeriann
Jun 2019 - $25.00
Very small campground with RV sites sharing driveways, and thus making it difficult for everyone to fit into their own spot. Very small turn around making it difficult for Class A vehicles to navigate. Trails not maintained and not well marked, and with no maps provided I had no idea how long or strenuous each trail might be. Dump station is practically on the side of the road, making it difficult to navigate around big RV's using it. Never saw a park employee or ranger. - Scldg
Mar 2019 - $18.00
Intimate and peaceful. Nice trails - Texaloha
Nov 2018 - $26.00
Had to find a park quickly for a medical call. Entry road and sandy park roads are rutted. Sites on grass. Site 19 blocks site 18 and provides 15 amp only. Trees make maneuvers challenging. Watch for fire anthills. Can't comment on diving since we were not there for that. - snabo
Aug 2018 - $27.00
This is the first time I would give a campground a 3 out of 5 and go back. We really enjoyed the amenities the park offered. The spring is great and we got some bottom time (SCUBA) in every day. The campground needs some love. The grass needed to be cut and the dump station was out of order. If you stay here please note that the White Camping (water and electric only) and Red Camping are close to the spring and swimming. The Blue Camping is too far out back and felt too secluded. We were given a Blue site and we asked to be moved to the front since it felt like we were too far away. - trikeflyer
Apr 2018 - $25.00
I'm from Panama, and my family was down from Atlanta. We picked this spot to meet up with each other for a weekend. To be clear, this was a fun weekend, but make no mistake, this place caters to divers, not campers. Gorgeous springs, diving rentals, a swimming hole, lots of activity going on all the time. They also have cabins and houses to rent out. The sites are not clearly marked, but are easy enough to get in and out of. Kids had a blast in the water. No lifeguards though, so be diligent. Overall, we do plan to go back because of the diving/swimming portion where we can camp, too. But if swimming/diving aren't priorities for you... you may want to look to other places as the campsite is not the priority for this area. - JJGibbs
Jul 2016 - $25.00
This is one of the best RV parks we have stayed at!! The owners were very sweet, they treated us pretty much like family. They invited us into their home and we talked for hours. They would take my 2 year old daughter riding on their golf carts (of course I rode also).
The park was very clean, and quiet!! Laundry room was clean. My husband loved the lake/fishing!! Will definitely be back if we are near Geneva, Alabama again!!
They looked after me and my daughter while my husband worked during the day. When it would start storming they would check to make sure we were okay and asked if we needed anything!! Wifi worked great.
The owners kept the park very clean, he was always outside doing yard work!!! She kept the flower beds really pretty, hope we can visit with them soon!!! - Shelby Shoemake
Jan 2016 - $35.00
This place was not clean and very noisy. We were looking for a relaxing vacation and this place was anything but. Owners were rude and unfriendly. - Ron and Amy
Jan 2011 - $18.00
The owners have done an excellent job of cleaning up after the previous owners. Both are the kindest, most helpful and gracious owners we have encountered. Everyone is very friendly. The grounds are landscaped nicely and well kept. There are a number of long timers who are also helpful. They have added a club house for get together. Two docks available for fishing. Landing is available with a recommended $2 launching fee. The lake only allows electric motors - no gasoline. The campgrounds are literally out in the country closer to Geneva, AL than Defuniak Springs, FL. - MOexpat
Aug 2019 - $25.00
Really enjoyed our stay at the park. The campground owner was wonderful and very conscientious about making sure you are taken care of. My only complaint was the noise from I-10. The park is close to the interstate and the noise from the interstate is always present. The campground is clean, has one-way to get in and one-way to get out. At the campground is an assortment of yard activities. They also have two horses that are always happy to come to the fence to be petted. The owner leaves treats out for you to give the horses. We bought apples and carrots to feed them treats daily. Also around her residence is a family of white rabbits. I really enjoyed my stay there but the traffic noise was bothersome at times. A lot of the surrounding towns has been hit hard by Hurricane Michael and has not fully recovered. About an hour away is Panama City Beach and they have fully recovered. Right at the turn-off to the campground are two truck stops. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and enjoyed the owner's hospitality. - HMathis58
Jul 2019 - $25.00
Back again, even more awesome. The owner was in the bucket of the tractor diligently cutting limbs and hanging flags, she is always working. We were there a week this time and she never slowed down, repairing fence in the dog park to digging post holes to put in the new wood fence down the entrance. She does this all by herself and always has a smile when she stops everything to personally greet and check in her guests. Thanks again for another wonderful stay at your beautiful park. God Bless you my friend. - eva parks
May 2019 - $40.00
This CG was hit hard by Hurricane Michael in Oct 2018 and they are rebuilding so no cable or baths. Strong OTA TV. The owner is a special lady who loves this place and her visitors. She has her dog and bunnies and chickens roam and she has a beautiful horse to pet and feed. Very convenient to I-10. A unique and special relaxed CG! A must return. - Nh rvers
Oct 2018 - $45.00
We were there for their Halloween weekend. Have not had that much fun in a LONG time. Costume contest, hay rides, site decorating, site crawl. It was a blast! All the fellow campers were super friendly and got a chance to talk with the owners. Great guys and you can tell they work hard to make this place great. Wil. Definitely be back!! - NolesGuy86
Feb 2018 - $50.00
Older gay campground that is a little overgrown but the new owners are working on it. I typically would have given the campground a middle rating due to the newness but the owners have the attitude that if you don't give an outstanding rating don't bother coming back. So I cannot rate them above a poor rating as the $ value is lacking. $100.00 for 2 nights is extreme. The road into the campground is disturbing, the trash was never dumped from the garbage cans, the site is majorly uneven 8" drop had to use 2 "2 X 6"s & levelers and the sewer hookup was higher than the rig. - Campin Kayak
Jul 2019 - $26.00
Great Overnight park. All site are open void of trees. All roads are paved. The staff was very courteous and in a beautiful clubhouse. The only GPS that took us there was WAZE. The others missed the mark. There is a big digital sign on the left possibly saying Magnolia Park rather than Hidden Hollow. We were told the sign message changes. You are an able to see the RV park from the highway. It is behind a big bingo pavilion. - blumarlin
Jul 2019 - $23.00
Great little known gem of a campground. 24 hour security, concrete pads, office personnel very friendly and is manned 24 hrs. Great office, provides complementary coffee, bottled water and small snacks. Sites are very clean, but not completely level.. site seemed to slope down and to the left for water runoff purposes?? Near term plan is to build a dog park..future plans are to build a clubhouse and pool for guests. Will definitely stay here again when passing though. Free and good wifi signal, but no cable. - Steve Sharon
Jun 2019 - $20.00
One year old, well designed, all pull thru, all paved, wide drives, all 30/50A/W/S. Coffee and Danish in the lodge, set up for concerts, adjacent to a big bingo hall. Good internet, no cable. Grass at each side long site and Q.U.I.E.T!!!! Would be a great place for a rally! Close to shopping in Dothan. - Journey On
Sep 2018 - $32.00
Quiet park. Friendly staff. Lots of long-term campers. Trees definitely needs to be trimmed. Utilities worked well. Good for an overnight stay. - CanDo
Jun 2018 - $17.00
We called this park a month in advance to reserve a pull-thru with full hookups. We received a confirmation but when we arrived at the park we were told that we would only have water and electricity. I explained that we had made reservations for full hookups and were told that there was nothing they could do because other campers were waiting to move into the full hookup sites from the limited hookup sites. We stayed one night instead of the 6 nights that we had booked, and moved to another RV camp the next day. I would never have booked this RV park if they had told me that I could not have full hookups. I would not stay at this park again. - kingsransom51
Oct 2017 - $29.00
Clean, quiet and very friendly folks. Lots are spacious and offer some shade. Site surface is sand and features a picnic table. - Sara webb
