22 RV Parks near Crestview, Florida
Apr 2009 - $15.00
Owned by the Alabama/West Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church. Located near MM 8.5 north of the AL/FL line on SR 137, just north of Wing. Pros: Extremely quiet (although during camp events, that might change). Restrooms and showers very clean. Bicycling along camp roads easy, fun. Beautiful swimming pool, bathhouse. Lake canoeing and paddle boats. Sand beach across lake in Conecuh National Forest. Internet available in lobby. Staff extremely friendly. Food service during camp events (fee). Sites grassy to leafy. Cons: Sites nearest the gymnasium have sewer, those opposite do not. Sewer holes, dump station in need of major upgrade. Pine cones everywhere. Some sites would be difficult to negotiate with trailer or big rig due to narrows and trees. Cell phone coverage spotty at best, better out near the highway. We would camp here again. - The Happy Traveler

Do you like your neighbors? We knew what we were signing up for tho'. "Cozy.". Everyone was pretty stand-offish - no "hey, how ya' doin'?". Plenty of non-military "guests" in the pool. Park is nice and very well maintained; complements to the staff. Not particularly comfortable with the campers - we're older, and these whipper-snappers are pretty arrogant. Not certain we'll stay again. - jtids

This is an older RV park and the sites were fairly tight. Cable and all other utilities worked great. Site had nice concrete with picnic table and grill. Finding space for tow was tough due to lot closeness. We were unable to use satellite because of trees. We were on 2103. Lots of dogs! And rude owners that did not pick up even tho bags and trash can were provided. We stayed 3 weeks to see family in area. Doubt we would use this camp again - hug448844

This is a beautiful facility located right on the bay and near downtown Dest in. So many nice amenities and a gorgeous pool, pier, harbor. This was our second visit to the campground and would love to go again sometime. Just one negative thing. The sand burs are a pain. Maybe some spray treatment to get rid of them. - hoganc
