Multiple contacts with office staff found disappointing and unprofessional. Owner's husband very helpful and genuine. Over filled trash bins located at front overflowing with rodents. Outdated bathrooms with poor water pressure. Poor drainage, worn out picnic table overgrown foliage and long term residents. - WaldoW

The folks at the front desk were AWESOME! They accommodated our every need. The store is well stocked with RV items, beer or wine, and just everyday staples you may have forgotten to pack. There is a tiki bar by the pool and it is open as long as the store is open. The pool was nice as well. They have a pet exercise area that is very roomy and has obstacles for the pets to "play" on. There were plenty of washers and dryers to use. The nights were quiet. - Wusaah

1) They have a limited amount of 50 amp hookups. This is an issue in June in Florida. Made a reservation for 50 amp to find they did not have any. I had to find my own 50 amp site in the resident section and had to pull in backwards/opposite of the way it was designed to make it work. So as a result I did not have sewage connection. If I had pulled in the "correct" way there would have been a drainage ditch outside the door to step into, so that did not make sense either.
2) They were willing to cancel our reservation and give a full refund when we checked in because of no 50 Amp site would fit us but because it was late in the day we made it work and stayed for 3 nights, but then we decided to move on once my tanks filled and I had to pack up anyway. It took more complaining and calling management than it should have to get us out of the reservation early. We just wanted to leave but they did not want to cancel the reservation (we had 3 more nights) but I felt that we had put in a good effort to make it work and wanted to vacation and not work!
3) I think they are putting out a good effort overall with a heated pool and activities on site. However it is a park in which many people live full/part time with a lot of rigs stored for the summer and you have that element to deal with. The shower said no hot water until "Thursday" and it was Friday (?) but I had hot water for the shower. - Portable Paradise

We love this park! Wonderful owners and nice shady area we have. Very friendly to bikers and very beautiful and rustic! No pool but who needs it so close to the beach maybe 3 miles. Lots of bike trails in the area and the best thing is city water not that smelly water! Very close to shopping less than a mile and close to downtown NSB! Quiet at night, pet friendly and wonderful people here! LOVE IT! - Beverly Hughes
Feb 2017 - $39.00
Park is ok for a overnight stay. Our campsite has a slope on one side so it took a bit to get level. Lots of noise from traffic and trains blowing their horns all night which kept us awake. Staff was friendly, but I don't think we will stay there again. - Dale T
Aug 2016 - $25.00
This is a great park as home base for exploring NSB. There are 2 other campgrounds a mile away from here as well. Very friendly management here. Laid back and quiet atmosphere, the entrance section is all mobile homes, there are also several residents around the perimeter of the park. No frills but decent sites with power, water, sewer, cable, and wifi. Our first visit last month we took the available pull through spot, this time it was occupied and we grabbed a back-in. Both sites were partially shaded, there are others that are full sun. - avbrendan

I totally messed up on reservations and were stuck with 1 night with no reservation. Called here, very friendly, had a spot. Clean, manicured campground. Quiet. Seemed like maybe some seasonals who weren't there. Pool looked nice though I didn't have time to go in. Would stay again. - PeggyChip
Jan 2018 - $41.00
Very nice park in a good location. The wifi was slow but sufficient. The sites were pull in and very close. There were 2 activities the 2 days we were there. The only bad thing is all the traffic and people talking loud. - Red dog mom
Jun 2017 - $45.00
We ended up at this campground after checking out a neighboring campground where we had reservations, but after inspecting it decided to leave. The office staff was accommodating when I called to check availability. With our plans changing upon arrival, we were not sure if we were going to stay two days or longer. The manager said you stay two days and then decide and come back and pay me. Who says that? The sites are mostly pull-thru and were long enough for our fifth wheel and tow vehicle, sand driveways with a concrete patio. The sites are wide enough for pull-outs and extra space between neighbors. There are palms between sites but not in the way when maneuvering. The campground itself is large with a number of long term residents and a few permanent residences tucked here and there. Overall neat and not "junky" as with some other locations with permanent residences. There are cute log cottages on the edge of the campground for rent. The campground roads are also sand but nice and wide. There are two laundry's on site at $1.50 per use. The swimming pool is very nice and clean. There is a playground, but it was roped off from use (not sure why, perhaps because the area was very muddy from recent heavy rains). Grocery store, shopping, restaurants, and beach are a short drive. Our only complaint was an evening of loud partying past quiet hours in one of the rental cabins near our site. The revelers left the next morning, so all was good. - Golfgirl

It's a small campground and everything is a back-in. The sites are grassy but level. They are a bit close to your neighbors but everyone I met was super friendly. It is very quiet and not setup for children at all. It's primary purpose is for camping fisherman. Right on the river. It is a great value in a clean, neat, secure (gated) campground. The staff was terrific. We were visiting family in the area. I would definitely stay here again. - DMcKitt

Mar 2017 - $35.00
Very small campground for fishing and boating. If you don't have a boat there's nothing to do although the view of the water is great. It's on the Indian River and Intracoastal Waterway, so isn't ocean but is saltwater and much wider and rougher than a regular river. It's extremely shallow until you get out to the channel so suitable only for very shallow-draft boats.
All sites are occupied by permanents or seasonals. We got the only space that wasn't locked up. It was a pull-thru in deep dirt and sand which was a real pain to get into and out of, requiring use of 4WD to get us unstuck while pulling in.
Wifi was terrific. OTA TV worked well. BYOB happy hour at the tiki bar every day at 4:00 to get to know the neighbors. Owners and staff were very laid back and extremely nice. We won't return because we have the wrong type of watercraft for this situation plus the site was just too difficult to deal with. - all4pets
Feb 2013 - $30.00
This place is about the water. The views are very nice. There are places to park boats, fishing and kayaking right out your door. Very laid back groove here. WI-FI is very good (but you won't be streaming anything) . - little Kahuna

Lots of perms in very old, old trailers. Sites are tight. - cmw
Feb 2018 - $1.00
The spots were good sized. Lots of Bikers and people who are there long term. We were right against a creek and it stank. Lots of No-See-ums and mosquitoes. The laundry wasn't expensive but a pain to work. The office lady was NEVER in the office. We had a late check in and every time we went up there to check in she wasn't there. There was NOWHERE for the kids to play. We saw a snake in the creek behind us and so that was a huge no go. There was a pool but we didnt use it. It looked nice. The grounds were well kept. The people who lived/stayed there were nice. There were lots of dogs and no dog park/run. We didn't go to the bathhouse so I have no idea what that was like. - TravelinFam
Feb 2017 - $42.00
More than half of the park is occupied by permanent residences. Many of those are well maintained. We were unfortunately placed between 2 permanent trailer homes. Our site was all grass, no slab. 1 small picnic table which had a dirty, oily cloth covering stapled to it. We had to pick up trash from around our site. Neighbor allowed their dog to poop around the back area of both our site & their site. As a result there was dog poop every couple feet around that area. We requested to have our site changed & let the office staff know about the dog poop. Office staff was friendly but unable to accommodate request & as far as I could tell did not address dog poop situation. We will not return to this RV park. - RVtripper

This was a nice place to stay while we geocached in the Daytona Beach area. The site was large enough and the neighbors were close, but not on top of each other. It was quiet at night and everyone observed the rules. There were some rigs that needed a good cleaning, but otherwise we had no issues or problems while here. - Love To Travel 2
Jan 2019 - $39.00
Very nice little park close to where I need to be in Daytona Beach. Less expensive than the place I stayed last year, which is a plus. Shady, old trees. Lots are a bit on the smaller side, and the roads narrow, which makes it tricky for larger rigs. Friendly office staff. Some long-term campers need a good washing. Overall great value. - Sneakers145
Jan 2019 - $39.00
We stayed six nights and got the seventh free. That's why I show no discount. They are GoodSam but I would have paid more using that. Nice staff. Very tight getting in some back-ends. After three nights we were able to relocate to a pull thru. Lots of snowbirds there now. Free cable and wifi. Plenty to do there. Orlando not far. Plenty of restaurants close by. - archbarb

We pulled in late and they greeted us nicely. Filled out the paperwork only to find out after they don't accept "AGGRESSIVE BREEDS" Not aggressive dogs. Aggressive breeds, which is at the managements discretion. They did allow us to stay but only because we came late and it was for one night and that was after 20 questions and statement and offer of proof that my mastiff is a service dog. We were escorted to our site and were helped with backing our camper in. The sites were level and on grass but definitely tight if the sites next to us were full. You do have to specify that you want a full hook up, as not all sites are. There are not many trees. Not all sites have picnic tables. There are a lot of long termers in the rear of the park. Some sites are concrete surrounded by grass. Grass was nice and kept well trimmed. - Natacha83
Mar 2017 - $37.00
Stayed one nite in water/electric only site close to park office/pool etc. Site was level and large back in with good water/electric and excellent cable and internet service. Restrooms were spotless and he site was nicely shaded UNLIKE most of the part which is in full sun. Near all amenities & attractions in the area. Walk to pizza/italian and brew pub. Excellent value in a well kept park. - Camaraderie
Feb 2017 - $45.00
Only rated average due to layout of the park, sites stacked up like cord wood. Our neighbors both smoked heavily, sitting at their patio which was directly below our windows, had to close windows in upper 70's heat. Clean toilets/showers, clean pool (unheated), nice laundry room. Happy their rates were not north of $60+, as are a lot of KOA's. - rvrrat520

Not sure why this CG has such high marks. This is a VERY crowded and super tight park. You are packed in here like sardines. It does have a beautiful open space entrance that is well landscaped but that's where the beauty ends. Even though the interior roads are paved and one way, they are narrow and lined with parked vehicles edging into the road. Most sites are grass but ours was considered premium and we had gravel with a nice patio, fire ring and picnic table. Most sites are back-in with only a couple pull-thrus. Barely enough room in front to park tow. Had to angle it & encroach a bit on neighboring site. Very friendly and accommodating front staff gal who was helpful. I will say though for how crowded it is, it was very quiet at night. Just too crowded for us to return. - Beachside Baby
