Overall Rating:

This is easily the most luxurious RV Resort we've ever stayed at, and I would have rated it a TEN across the board except for the "service", or lack thereof. Most of the sites are along the river and are "pull in", which is wonderful.....but they're tight for such expensive sites, compared to other "owner" resorts we've stayed at. The clubhouse and restrooms/showers are LOVELY, but usually not even open until 9:00 a.m., unless the cleaning person lets you in! The other "renters", such as ourselves, are extremely friendly, but the "owners" will not even return a wave or a quick "hello". I don't see much of them during the day, but they seem to congregate around the bar in the clubhouse at night, totally excluding anyone else. Such a cold, cold atmosphere. That, along with the HUGE population of mosquitos, led to me to the lower review. We will not return. I don't believe the "owners" need any of our rent money. We camped at Everglades Isle in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are a couple local seafood "restaurants", if you can call them that, with picnic tables and open air seating. The food is fresh, right off the boat, but expensive considering the seating conditions. We had to get papertowel, wet it, and wipe down a table to sit at. Ewwww!!!

Date of Stay: December, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Only spent one night here with friends, but found it to be a hidden GEM! We found this resort in the Campanda Magazine 15 Best Luxury RV Resorts. Clubhouse and bar, beautiful sites on the water (some not) with a fantastic marina. Lots of airboats in the area (you are in the everglades) but very quiet from dusk to dawn. Three local seafood restaurants within walking distance. Great value, we will return! Class a only resort. The staff is TERRIFIC! If you're looking for an airboat tour, ask the staff. They have connections for the best tours. Great people and staff! Month of February is totally booked, but other months are still available. They close for the summer (May1-November1 I believe). Stop in, you will not be disappointed! Good Wifi too! We camped at Everglades Isle in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: February, 2005 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We spent several days here in February. It is not a fancy park but it was clean, quiet and everyone was very friendly. The sites were not huge but in southern FL not many places have mega sites. Lots of seasonals but most everyone seemed well kept giving the compact surroundings a reasonably pleasant look. Restaurant and store on the premises which was convenient. Other stores and restaurants within 1/2 mile. The marina was at far end of property and only occasionally did we hear the roar of the motors. Interior road was paved and some sites (probably seasonals) had concrete pads. About 1/2 hour drive to Marco Island/Naples area which was convenient. If I were looking to stay near the Everglades again, I would return for a few days stay. Again, not alot to do at the campground but not a bad base camp for the area. We camped at Everglades Isle in a Motorhome.
