I would add another excellent for this RV campground. It is a slice of old Florida with many Oak trees and very wooded. River access for fishing is great and there is a canoe available for park guests to use. The campground is close to Floral City and the Withlacoochee State Trail, which is excellent for a leisurely bike ride on a level paved route. The new owner is a very pleasant person and is working hard to rehabilitate this old fish camp. We enjoyed a weeks stay at this park very much and look forward to returning. We camped at Trails End RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nestled in cypress forest on banks of a lazy Florida river is a quiet place to unwind. The covered dock at the river is a lovely place to birdwatch: limpkins eating snails, little blue herons catching fish, great blue herons, tricolor herons, yellow crowned night heron, moor hens. Bathrooms clean with spacious shower stalls. The park is being rehabilitated in a quality manner, many spaces are being leveled, new picnic tables assembled. The local feral cats were responsibly fixed and released and have done a nice job keeping the rodents away. We camped at Trails End RV Park in a Motorhome.

We are spending the winter here in a 28' TT. It's perfect if you want a peaceful place to stay! The park is surrounded by beautiful oaks and has wild turkeys roaming the property. The shower house is clean and spacious. I can't say enough about the staff! The owner goes above and beyond to ensure his guests are satisfied and everyone working here is super friendly and helpful! The communal fire pit on the river is a great place to gather for a fire on cool evenings and the covered area on the dock is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the river. If you're wanting organized activities and amenities galore, this isn't the place, but if you want relaxation, peacefulness and to enjoy the sounds of nature, you'll love it! The park is in a rural area, but within a reasonable drive to restaurants and grocery shopping. Large cities (ie: Tampa, Orlando) are an easy drive of an hour or so. Trails End Rd. is 3-4 miles, most of which is very curvy, but when you pull onto the wooded lane coming into the park, I think you'll agree it was worth it! We camped at Trails End RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
