Apr 2016 - $35.00
This place is a dump. Most of the lots were taken by full timers. Junk everywhere. The biggest complaint was the night club just beyond the hedge row played music so loud from 10pm - 2am that we could feel the vibration from the drums. Don't stay here. - Saved farmer
Apr 2016 - $13.00
Small RV park. Spaces close together. Road is paved, gravel sites with wooden patio. Mostly full time people living there. All sites are well kept. Owner very friendly and will steal your dog if you aren't careful! Just kidding, she will fatten them up with all her treats. The RV park is close to everything in Pensacola, a little further from the beach but not a terrible drive. Small bathrooms but clean. Small laundry room. No pool, playground or any other type of extras. A whole lot of cats roaming around but they caused no problems for us. The way I saw it was they kept all the vermin away! Everyone there is very friendly. We occasionally heard the train that passed nearby. And some Saturday nights we could hear the "thumping" from the music at a nearby night club. Neither of those things bothered us at all. We would certainly stay there again. - LaneyC RN
Nov 2013 - $30.00
Drifters is a small, compacted park. You may be able to get in and out with a big dog but not designed to be big rig friendly. Many full timers but clean and neat sites. We only saw 2 sites for overnighters. Bath house was clean but shower hot water was just warm. You get a full page of rules when you check in and that is followed up with demeaning “Don’t” signs where ever there is a spot on the wall. No pool, no fire ring, no table, no grill. No pull-throughs, but there are plenty of yippy dogs. Wi-Fi and cable are good. $30 for the stay is a $27 Good Sam rate + tax. - rossby

Oct 2018 - $38.00
Five Flags is a very clean well maintained park with a friendly inviting staff. I don't think I saw one piece of trash on the ground anywhere in the park. This place is uniquely decorated with old vehicles, flowers everywhere and mowed grass. That tells me they take pride in maintaining the park, especially since the place was FULL. Not one empty space. The sites are somewhat tightly spaced but not uncomfortably so. Many appear to have long term campers but they too were neat and decorated. Not one was junkie or cluttered. Interior roads are wide gravel but the sites have concrete pads and patios. WiFi is robust, even with a full park the speed was very good. Cable is analog but has most all the standard local and national channels. There is no pool, club house or other amenities. - bamawig
Aug 2018 - $38.00
We really enjoyed out stay at Five Flags. At one time it was a government operated site for FEMA trailers. The layout is very spacious--not what you'd expect from an operation that wants to maximize their space for getting in as many people as possible. If making a right turn on to Wilde Lake road, be aware of the crumbling curb. Once in the park, all roads are wide and easy to navigate. The staff and tenants were friendly. They have special events planned that foster community. There are all sorts of fun details that make it interesting, like two laundry rooms in street cars, an old pickup filled with fresh flowers, and a tree stump turned into a free library. The wifi at this park is fantastic. There were antennae everywhere you looked and the speed was great. There is strong support for the military. Restaurants are within walking distance. This was a very convenient place for a Pensacola visit. - Ward1980
Jul 2018 - $40.00
Stayed at Five Flags RV Park in route so did not unhook. This park has immaculately clean grounds with nice flowers everywhere and some different conveniences. Concrete sites with patios, picnic tables with umbrellas, good place for dog walking, nicely landscaped, a back door to a convenience store, even a fire truck!! Our stay was restful, quiet and we would definitely return. The owner was super helpful and a nice man. - Ray Hebert

Feb 2019 - $40.00
Great location off I-10 then take a short county road to CG entrance. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are many pull-through sites and are all level and long for transient travelers. There are several back-in's and they are for the monthly snowbirds. The park is clean, orderly and well maintained. The analog cable TV was acceptable, WiFi was good and had good Verizon and T-Mobile cell. The laundry facilities worked great. Needed a propane bottle filled, set it in front of RV by the interior road in the morning returned filled by lunch. We like the CG because of it' easy access to touring the area and also the warm feeling the staff provides to it's guest. The park stays full so you must reserve well in advance. We would definitely stay here again. - Land Wanderer
Feb 2019 - $45.00
We have stayed at the park before and it is a nice spot. This time we were in a new area and the spaces are spaced good but we could not get level due to the slope of the site. This was the only down side to the park overall is a good stay. The roads are easy to get around, easy off the freeway. - JDR
Feb 2019 - $40.00
We came in for one night and when we checked in, I told them our jacks were broken and asked for a level site. They put us in one of the pull-thrus, #64, and someone guided us to the site. At the site, our guide stopped us when we got to the area of the site that was the most level. The park is close to I-10, with easy on and off access. No problems with the connections. Cable, satellite, and OTA TV worked well. We didn't use the wi-fi. - Bbtj

Jun 2015 - $32.00
Nice location on lake. Not well kept. With attention to grounds, and rv services, could be a very nice park. All gravel parking, sites not well defined. Access OK, but not well marked, entrance easy to pass by. Laundry needed updating, machines not well maintained. - T and A
Jan 2015 - $55.00
Smaller park, about half the sites back onto a lake that you can walk around. Peaceful setting. Lots are FHU, narrow lots, gravel/sand/clay mix. Mots have picnic tables and grills, fire pits are allowed. Small playground, gazebo with swing, able to walk dogs around the lake. You are near a helicopter school, so see and hear them training often. Convenient to I-10, as well as town for shopping and restaurants. - S A K
Jan 2012 - $38.00
We stayed for a few days and what a place! Not maintained and lots of FEMA trailers. 99.9% are full time shady people with lots of dog crap everywhere. The two people running the park are not very good and the lady had a really fowl mouth. The lake had no fish and I mean NO FISH. The web site is so deceiving. This is a trailer Park not a camp ground. PS watch where you walk , You will step in dog crap. Oh! Helicopters fly over head all day long. - 3rd rv

Sep 2016 - $15.00
Peaceful park with nice view. That's all. Interior road washed out. There's very few fish in the lake but two alligators. Look out for small pets. Bath houses stay locked. Playground equipment broken. We ended up leaving because the owners husband screamed and cursed at my girlfriend (while I was at work) because her aunt broke the 10mph speed limit. :( - Jason Stanford
Jun 2016 - $10.00
This is a beautiful park, the new owners keep it nice. 3 lakes, children's playground, good fishing lots of walking space. They are going to put restrooms and showers and laundry mat back in and still fixing roads but there are some good roads. A beautiful swimming hole and a place for children roped off to swim and picnic tables and fireplace pit on site. If you like quietness and country living this is perfect for you. We got here on june lst 2016 and intend on staying. We are seniors. Lpve it. - carolyn
Mar 2010 - $12.00
This rate is Passport America. Apparently this is a new owner for a year and we can see there have been improvements. Owner is very accommodating. The hook ups are new and great. The washroom and showers are disgusting and should be torn down. Big bump turning into grounds and bumpy rough hill. Garbage bin is parked in front and tractors are parked in front too. - Snooker2

Feb 2019 - $47.00
Great place! We had a pull-in site. We faced their canal and fishing pier. The host was very helpful. He led us to our site, making sure we were satisfied. The place is very clean. The daily price is a bit steep. - Gma Linda
Feb 2019 - $46.00
We had our coach in the shop and let them know we would be in after office hours, so they said they would text us the info and directions to our site. When we got there, someone was in the office, so they opened it up and let us check in, giving us the weekly rate discount, one night free. They then had someone guide us to our site, even though it was after hours. This a nice, clean park just off of I-10, so it is easy to get in and out of. We had a pull-in that faced the canal, so we could look out the windshield and see the pelicans. The park is very clean and just about every day, we saw park personnel out and about doing maintenance. Cable and satellite TV worked well, as did their wi-fi. They do allow you to wash your rig for a $5 fee. We would stay here again. - Bbtj
Dec 2018 - $44.00
Very clean, small, quiet campground just off I-10. Long cement patio w/picnic table. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent Wifi & good cable. We were right on the canal so rate was a tad higher than non-water sites but all are in great location. Tow vehicle parking was in front of the rig with plenty of space. We spent a week here but weekly rate (with NO discounts) was about the same as daily rate. - Mainiac

Sep 2014 - $30.00
We went to stop by and stay for a few days but they were not open and only got an answering machine. We had to drive thru the park and thought we could stay and pay the next morning. We saw only mobile homes and a lot of tall grass. One of the people that showed us where RVs park said the office was closed for next few days. We were tired and drove to the RV sites and they all had such tall grass it made us miserable we couldn't even enjoy sitting outside. So after trying to hook up the ants are so bad we said no way and started to leave. This is not a clean park for RVs at all! I can see why there are only a couple RVs there. I wouldn't suggest any one to stay there. Stay at Walmart or drive over to Lillian at least Its clean and has facilities and someone will be there the next morning so you can pay. - PnM
Nov 2012 - $18.00
Ashton Run is an older 90-space mobile home park that has 10 RV spaces. The park is being redeveloped, so many - maybe two-thirds - of the mobile home spaces are empty. Some brand new mobile homes and some older mobile homes. A few small children. Office has posted hours; suggest calling ahead. The RV spaces are all together in a row in the center of the park. Paved streets, speed humps, with very flat grass sites. No trees. Received the standard broadcast digital TV stations via RV antenna. No rec hall, laundry or bathhouse, so must be self-contained. Park was quiet and clean. US-98 between Fairfield & Blue Angel has many services: gas, fast food, retail, laundromat. Wal-Mart & Target are at the corner of Blue Angel & Sorrento, just north of NASP west gate. If you are outside your RV at 8am, most days you can hear the national anthem at NASP. We stayed here while visiting family members stationed nearby. We have been to P’cola with our RV at least 10 times; have stayed at Big Lagoon, Oak Grove, even in Lillian, AL; this was our longest stay; first time at this place; would stay here again. Rate shown is based on monthly rent. We stayed here two months, tried it for one and then added a second. - Since1994

Campround is no owned by a church. Only 22 sites available. They closed off all the others. Quite well maintained by church. They are VERY . strict. Nothing is allowed out. - forty4san
Mar 2013 - $26.00
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately our phone navigator led us to the wrong place. If you use the road address, you will have better luck. We anticipated there being laundry facilities here, but there are NONE. This is a church camp of sorts, but it appears to be the off season, so only a few longtimers here and two of us overnighters. A nice country setting in a large grassy clearing surrounded by woods. Nice! - Red Wolf Deux
Jan 2008 - $16.00
There is no office or camp host to check in with; all contact via phone; only a self check-in at the club house (with kitchen/tables) with a rate sheet posted and sign-in sheet provided, which was not advised when called. An RV group had sites with full hook-ups so other campers had to use other sites that have w/e only; those are along the road and in a field. The one perk was that a sliding scale is used for each additional night stayed. The Opry House was open on Fri/Sat. for dinner with a band but was closed by 9 p.m. Park has gravel roads and sites. Sites along the road have trees and can be tricky getting into except for end site. Note: If parking along the road near Opry House, your rig could be blocked by Opry guest vehicles. While the campground is quiet it was still a distance from town. If ever in the area again, we would not stay here but this is a good campground for RV groups. - Donna Butler
