Nov 2019 - $4.00
Considering we're real rookies at this RV thing...we had a wonderful experience at Sunshine. Started out a little shaky backing in a 41' FW into one of the interior street sites, but got it settled in with some help from good neighbors. Nice, level concrete pad that accommodated our home and long-bed tug easily. Lots of permanent sites here, but all well maintained and manicured. We were impressed with the facilities, pool, clubhouse, putt putt golf and the large and spotless laundry room. We had a sizable pad with a picnic table and room for lounge chairs and puppy pen. Very pet friendly place that wore out our little mutt on her walks. You couldn't ask for a better location for entertainment options. Just minutes away from Vero Beach and our new favorite place Sebastian. Close to all kinds of eateries, shopping and waterfront strolls. We were right off of the I-95 exit so it was a quick trip down to St Lucie County and pretty much anywhere. All in all we enjoyed our stay and plan to return. A wonderful experience for us from check-in to check-out. - MikeyJ54
Nov 2019 - $1.00
Great rv park - sites were large and lots of extra room. Dog park was the largest so far with plenty of running and play room for 2 large dogs. Everyone, staff and permanent residents were extremely friendly and helpful. Loved it so much - staying there again next month. - Santa
Jun 2018 - $60.00
Overall the park was clean and very conveniently located to interstate 95. Also close to restaurants and food. The roads were not in very good shape however it is obviously working on them. The site was clean and level. - Deckwalker

Mar 2014 - $19.00
Very friendly, laid back older campground. Manager goes out of his way to foster interaction between long term and short term guests. We barely parked and were urged to come for potluck. Also we enjoyed a free cooking lesson and wine tasting, and invitation to play bridge, etc. Grassy pull thru was levelnand wide with concrete patio and drained well during heavy rainstorm. Heading northbound on Route 1 in or out of the park is tricky with the divided highway. Also trains run close by. - nonadonna
Nov 2012 - $20.00
The manager tried to make us happy, but barking dogs in front and back of us tend to make us unhappy. The cable didn't work. The facilities were not clean. Trains, planes, and automobiles but we got use to that. Could not get use to barking dogs. The fishing pier across from park and a boat ramp 1 1/2 miles away were the only good things about this park. - kgkaroonie
Jan 2012 - $30.00
If you like hearing airplanes, automobiles, and trains, this place is for you. 24/7 the noise never stops. The park is right on US 1, a four lane highway with 24 hours traffic. The railroad track is right behind the park, I mean right outside the park fence, and runs 24/7. We literally were shaken awake in the night by these trains. There is an airport approximately a mile away and these planes fly all day long right over the park. They are people learning to fly. The water is terrible and not drinkable, we had to buy all of our water in spite of the fact we had 2 water filters on our unit. The laundry and club house are dirty. The park is dirty, trash, not mowed, etc. The manager even came around one day and wanted us to pay $45.00 to have our site sprayed for bugs. Can you imagine? But true. The Wi-Fi service is not free, don't be fooled. We would never stay here again or recommend that anyone else does either. - bsnmobs

May 2019 - $27.00
The staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were clean and the buildings nicely painted. The restrooms were clean and appealing. The pool area was closed but looked okay. This is a 55+ community of mostly manufactured homes - most people gone for the season. Ours was a pull-thru site that was extremely narrow, but we were able to get into it in spite of units on both sides of us. No room on our site for our tow dolly, but they let us put it in an open site behind us. The sites face a 4 lane highway with only some low bushes and a couple of trees for a buffer. However, I preferred this to staring at the back of another RV and did not mind the noise. The train noise from the rear of the park did not bother us either (no whistles). My main concern was that even though the site has a patio almost as long as the RV what should be grass is all weeds and sand - very hard to keep the sand and tiny stones out of our RV. And the sewer hook-up for the site next door is just feet from our door (they left after the 1st of 3 days - so only had to be greeted by their bright orange sewer hose for one day). Garbage and recycling was convenient. We would stay here again if we had to be in the area, but only if we got the PA discount. - Deb and Chris
Apr 2018 - $50.00
Checked in on a Friday, paid for three nights, was told no one would be in office on Sunday. Left on Sunday left a note and asked for a refund on my card. Got a call Monday saying that they don't do refunds. Park was nearly empty, mostly seasonal at this time of year mid April. Site water handle was missing. Traveled from Vermont to Florida and would have to say I would never go back to this place. - Uncle Mike
Feb 2018 - $45.00
If you like in your face road noise augmented by train noise with narrow hard to access sites, this is the place for you. Basics: roads are paved and easy to drive until you have to make a turn. The sites are narrow and pretty much right on top of one another. The turn into our site was a major trick to shoehorn between the water hook up on the right side and the sewer on the left. Verizon phone and mifi worked well, apparently they have wifi but we saw no signal from our site so maybe it works up at the office. The pool is salt water and clean, showers were hot with ok pressure and the bathrooms were clean. Our stay here was a last minute thing and this was the only place in the area that had any space. We had to move to another site for our 2nd night. I'm pretty sure we're not going to stay here again just for the difficulty of site access. The staff was great and everything was clean. - pumper9x9

Apr 2018 - $37.00
We reserved a month at a cost of $612. When we arrived we were disappointed to see that this was a park where people were living in RVs and there were only about 3 lots that were not occupied by permanent residents. This is always a disappointment because part of the fun of traveling is the meeting of other friendly travelers who are looking for the same experiences as us. When ever you pull into a 'trailerhood' you are an outsider. You have nothing in common with those people. There will be no camaraderie and you will be alone. When we were preparing to back in to lot #11, a man living on lot #13 came out of his trailer and started flying the birds (middle fingers) either at us, or at the people who we would be next to on lot #10. The sign language was a little disturbing. We got a site next to a couple who had their lot loaded with everything imaginable including about a dozen noise makers blowing in the wind. Since they were on our left side, they were on our headboard slide side. Every night we awoke with the clanging, banging, chiming, rattling and clinking of too many 'pleasing' sounds. The breeze was strong most of our stay. We cut our time there in half due to the noise and the fact that the location was just too far away from the beaches and other attractions. We were not given a refund in any amount as we had 'paid for a month'. It was worth leaving to go to a better place, and we did. We do not recommend this place. - campground survey

Nov 2019 - $28.00
Quiet and a little remote. Quick access to nearby parks and beaches. Less than 10 miles to groceries and restaurants. Sites are mix of grass and dirt. Some back in and some pull in. Most are close to level but may require a block or two under one side. Very few sites with sewer and you basically have to park over them and run your hose under your rig. Water and electric are in the normal spots. Sites are a bit close. There’s a nice little island you can access over a foot bridge. Staff is friendly. - John Parris
Aug 2019 - $30.00
Park almost empty during the week. A very nice location and we stay often. Water front site with nice views. Wifi worked well and rangers keep up with maintenance. - Libby
Apr 2019 - $28.00
This campground was a very pleasant surprise. Surrounded by water and inlets, wildlife. Great place if you have a kayak, canoe, etc.. Easy to explore islands, fish, paddle with the dolphins. There was a private slot behind our rig to launch our kayak. Gave us easy access to a lot of exploring. I fished while my wife took pictures of the birds, dolphins, etc. The dolphins came right up to us and were not bothered by me fishing. If you enjoy the outdoors and water, this is a very nice place. - DDMO

Mar 2019 - $44.00
We were initially assigned a pull through site which was so tight that our bedroom slide out would have touched the neighbor's awning and we definitely would not have been able to extend our awning at all without hitting our other neighbor. The pull through sites seem to be assigned to short term rigs. We saw an open adjacent site and asked if we could switch which was much better though a back-in site (no problem with that). 50 amp, FHU site. Cable is analog and very grainy so we used our antenna for about 60 digital channels from Orlando. WIFI very good. If you don't like noise though I wouldn't come here since US-1 is the east park boundary and on weekends particularly the continuous roar of un-muffled motorcycles gets really annoying. The park's west boundary is a RR track and you will hear train horns @ 4 AM. The rec center is spotless and inviting. Our site had a great view of the Indian River. I doubt we would return. - Bob & Stephanie
Oct 2018 - $45.00
This park is a great place to stay if you want peace and quiet. Between 1/3 and 1/2 of the park (in October) is occupied (in the nice sense of the word) by our friends from the Northeast US and by our Canadian neighbors. They appear to be a close-knit 'community' and do not mingle too much with we transients, but they are also pleasant when you have the odd chance encounter. My wife and I stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the relaxation. The park itself is lovely, and clean, and well maintained. Amenities are as advertised, so you will not feel short-changed for paying the price of admission. The campsites are wide enough for you to extend your slide-outs and still have room to move around your site without encroaching on the site next to you. All services and utilities were also available. You are just 15 minutes away from the beach, and the Indian River is right across the 4-lane road. Access to the park entrance is easy. We will stay there again, I'm sure of it. - Habu77
Jul 2017 - $39.00
Requested site facing north so we had the breeze from the Indian River. Sites seemed to have been designed for older rigs with no slides. Our site was narrow but the site next to us was vacant so that helped. There was no room for a picnic table which we didn't have anyway. There were larger sites but we were in a pull through. The people were friendly. There was a 4th of July pot luck there we attended. The view of the Indian River was terrific. Twenty minute drive to the most beautiful un crowded beaches with parking that easily accommodated our truck. For overnight this would be fine. - TailsAwagging

It is an older park with not very many amenities. The overall value for what you have it's okay. I enjoy talking with the management and the snow birds that are there seem to have a lot of fun. - Bob Pittman
Aug 2016 - $35.00
This park has many full time residents. The grounds are poorly kept and there is no effort at pest control. The clubhouse is dark and moldy, as are the bathrooms, in addition to the many cobwebs and spiders crawling around them. The manager is pleasant enough, but his wife is terribly rude and difficult to deal with. The roads are in disrepair as well. The picnic table at my site was falling apart. Overall, this park is seriously run down and needs new management or a new owner to clean it up. - CoachCouple

Jun 2016 - $40.00
The water is often cut off. So if you don't fill your fresh water tank, your out of luck. When they do a water treatment, they often use too much chlorine. One day they did it and I had a full blown asthma attack while taking a shower. Luckily there's a hospital nearby. I confronted the manager and she apologized, but did nothing about it. I ended up using my fresh water tank for showers until the chlorine smell went away (which was about a day or so). The maintenance crew consists of two men well into their 70's. The lawns looks terrible, it has big brown blotchy spots everywhere. Plus tons of ants. The rules that we were given were not enforced. There are a few blind corners, in which I've almost had accidents at. They have dangerous picnic tables (rotted and falling apart).
The residents are pretty nice and helpful, they've mentioned that this park owner isn't very attentive to the park (They've had a few owners). They have said since the new owners have had it, that they've raised the rent, but don't upgrade the park.
The spots are close together, so if you and your neighbor have your windows open, you're going to hear each other's conversations. It's a very quiet place though.
They use to have WiFi for $20/mo, but the person taking care of it said that the park owner no longer wanted to deal with it. So it was removed. The pool is not heated. Their bathrooms aren't very clean. Also there is a gentleman who is always at the public bathroom area. Whenever my wife went to use the bathroom, a man would constantly hit on her. I told the manager about this and she said she would talk to him, but that didn't stop him. The park easily floods. If you don't own a car that is high off the ground, you run a serious chance of your car flooding. I've heard (from the residents) that when the owner comes to visit, she's very short with them and has been known to insult some of them. - Mike Thomas

This is not a 55+ RV park, though the mobile home section of the park is. [Admin Note: Called the park and was told that those under 55 were welcome "for a night or two".] The park grounds are beautiful, but the electric, cable connections, bathrooms and laundry are not maintained and are in need of updating. The water here is HORRIBLE. My trailer's sinks, shower, and dishes are heavily coated with limescale deposits. My sewer pipe was full of iron deposit. The electric breakers constantly blew, the water was shut off often without notice due to leaks on the property and sewer back-ups and leaks were common. The residents are very cliquish, and management does nothing to foster good neighboring. Park rules are discriminately applied and most people ignore them all together, unless their neighbor is breaking a rule, which gets promptly reported to management. Most of the trailers here are older models and the sites are close together. There are no pull-through sites and the newer, bigger rigs have trouble backing into sites. There is no park-wide Wi-Fi; it's only available at the clubhouse, which is closed in summer. No picnic table at the site. The park was quite noisy, dirty, and run-down. - CoachCouple

This is a mobile home park that got hid hard by a hurricane a few years ago. Some permanent residents didn't move back so there are slabs where the homes used to be. It is right on US 1 convenient to everything. The residents here are very friendly and they keep their places up. There are no rest rooms yet. I am staying here during off season so, I did get the off season rate. The streets in the park are nice and wide. I will stay here again on my next trip through. - PattyRVer

If you like fishing, Sebastian Inlet CG is great. If you don't, it's OK. Great views of the Indian River lagoon, especially from sites 1-14 and 52-55. Unfortunately that brings with it BUGS. No-see-ums are really bad, and when they give you a break the mosquitoes come out. Makes it hard to enjoy the views. The sites themselves are a little smaller and less private than other FL state parks, but not too bad. There is a road that goes right by the campsites with a lot of fisherman / boat traffic. We did quite enjoy swimming in the tidal pool, though it's really too shallow and murky for good snorkeling. We did not have any problems with the electricity. - Spiffe
Jan 2019 - $16.00
A heads up if you will be here between Feb-June 2019, they have started a beach re-nourishment project and are dredging 24 hours/day. The noise is quite obnoxious especially if you are close to the water. We enjoyed the first 5 days of our stay and then the noise started. The park is open 24 hours/day unlike most state parks and the restroom/shower facilities are looking a little run down. The site was great and we parked across the road from our trailer. The site was small gravel with a picnic table and fire ring. The road between the campsites and the water goes to a boat ramp and pavilions and is used frequently. Several OTA TV channels available and decent Verizon service at our site. We would return when the dredging is over. They hold events quite often at the beach area across the inlet. We got to watch a surfing tournament. - jtl2

If you can get a site on the water it's diffidently worth it! We had site 53. Great views of the water. Saw lots of dolphin while just sitting outside. 50 amp power was good and water had good pressure. Dump station was clean. - zjxgator
