This was exactly what we want in an overnight stop. Easy access and pleasant personnel (owner). Clean, wide, long and level site. We typically don't need a pool or a store. Priced right. This should be a model for campgrounds catering to the traveling RVer. We camped at Eagles Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Right off I-10, so good park for overnight stay. Long gravel sites very open for satellite dishes; we didn't have to unhook. Cash only. We camped at Eagles Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed only one night on a trip west (but decided to stay again one night on our way back). It's easy access from I-10. All sites are long pull-thru full hook-up so we could just leave our tow vehicle attached (since we were only there overnight) and because they are very level, it wasn't a problem. Sites are gravel with grass in front and back. Great water pressure and lots of OTA channels. If you want Wi-Fi, it's very cheap ($1.00 per day); we just used our own cell phone data, AT&T had decent reception. Clean restrooms, older but clean that are private, individual ones with a shower in each. These are the only bathrooms (only 2). There's also a small game room with puzzles, books. There's a laundry (didn't use). The check-in staff are very nice. If arriving after 6pm, you have to let the office know. Also, this is a CASH only establishment! You call for reserving a spot (not specific), and they just hold it for you, no deposit is needed. Regular price is $34 per night. Plenty of space between sites. There's a dog walk in the park too. Not a fancy place but good for an overnight stop. We camped at Eagles Landing RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We have just stayed at Eagles Landing RV Park in Holt Florida, just east of Pensacola. It is perfect for an overnight stay longer. The sites are accommodating of all classes RVs. The staff is very helpful, we had an awning issue that interfere with opening our slide and they recommended a company to help us and they were wonderful. We have enjoyed our stay so much that we plan to return in a few weeks. We camped at Eagles Landing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is our 4th trip cross country. We've decided to skip the KOAs & other resort type RV parks because we only stay one night, never use all the amenities & we're tired of paying $50+/night to sleep in our own RV. I always check RV Park reviews & Eagles Nest lived up to its review. This is a simple, well laid out park. Spaces are all 100' x 35' and all pull thru! Neat, clean, level gravel spaces & lanes, with grass in between spaces. Huge grass areas, well mowed with no weeds! We camped at Eagles Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is one of my favorite overnight RV parks. The pull-throughs are long and level, each site is shady on the door side where it should be. There are no obstacles to negotiate, even the trees are in the right places. There is no pool, but at this price and for overnight, who cares? Tips for other Campers:

There is a gas station in Holt down the road from the park but it is not for big rigs or trailers. I would recommend filling up before or after.

This is our 3rd time at this park. It very conveniently located off I-10 near Pensacola. There was a sign indicating "No Vacancy" when we pulled in. It seems Eglin AFB has increased their work staff and many of them are staying full time at this park. Call for reservations to get a site. The park is extremely well kept and easy to find. Interior roads are good with the exception of trees planted at the end of each site making exiting a little difficult. Check your site before entering to align your RV so that exiting is easier. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Eagles Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at the Eagles Landing RV Park for a week in a pull through site B1. Long, level gravel site with a picnic table. Everything in the park is maintained very well. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful. Quiet park, we stayed in a 45 foot motorhome with a toad. Easy in and out close to the interstate (I-10). Great for overnight stay. Easy access from I-10, bur far enough away that there is no I-10 traffic noise. Staff is friendly. They do not accept credit cards. Easy to navigate a big rig in the park. The roads and sites are gravel. We had a pull through site. Our site was level and very long. The utilities are well placed and worked well. The wifi is not free and we passed on paying because we weren't sure it would work anyway. Verizon signal was okay. There was no cable, but we got many channels on our HD antenna. At $25 a night you can hardly go wrong. I would stay again. We camped at Eagles Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed in site C11. We travel very extensively. Eagles Landing is by far one of the best parks we have visited......... anywhere across the US. The interior roads are wide and spacious. The sites are very easy to use the pull thru's. Very spacious between each site. Clean and organized. Even the storage area was very organized. Would recommend for a daily or extended stays. The staff was even courteous. Should be rated a 10. We camped at Eagles Landing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Quite a few little areas surrounding Holt that have cute restaurants and entertainment venues. Close to Pensacola with a variety of places to see and enjoy. And close proximity to beaches makes this a prime area for relaxation.
