Dec 2018 - $150.00
Very clean campground & facilities. Nice pool & hot tub, kayak launch, new boat docks - Teri44
Nov 2018 - $150.00
Wow! Beautiful park with great amenities. Nice and quiet with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again. Easy to get around, not cramped at all. We used one of the pull through sites, but next time I would get one of the sites on the water. It's beautiful. - Susan O
Oct 2018 - $65.00
This is an awesome little resort. Very clean and has to be one of the best pool/hot tub area anywhere as it is right on the water. Beautiful sunsets as well. The staff were all friendly. Our site was a pull through and the only real issue was the utility junction in the front of the site creates some challenges during our exit. The docks were being reconstructed while we were there so we received a 40% discount. We planned on staying on 2 days before moving on to the state park but needed up staying a total of 7 nights and canceling the state park reservation. we would absolutely stay here again. - OpenRoadJedi

Feb 2018 - $185.00
All sites at Key Largo Kampground are individually owned with about 30 vacant sites being available for rent. In addition, some sites with RV's are available for rent through places like VRBO and AirBnB. During the winter months most of the renters stay for several months, though some sites are available for short stays. There is even a small area for tents and pop-ups. Most of the marina sites have a Tiki hut and picnic table. There is a decent sized pool, a wifi hotspot area that is covered, laundry, and there are a variety of activities offered throughout the week (pot luck, coffee & donuts, bingo, shuffleboard, pizza night, etc). I found the residents to be friendly and during the week that we were there it was nice and quiet. There is a small sandy beach area. There is a small strip mall next door with a Publix, K-mart, pizza shop, etc, and John Pennikamp SP is a mile away. The price of $185 was for the rental of a furnished RV through AirBnB. Daily RV site rentals range from $70-$110, with weekly rates from $455 to $715. - driftdiver1
Mar 2017 - $110.00
We stayed waterfront for 6 nights during peak season. It was $110/night plus 11% tax. All-in it came out to $122/night! They have a weekly rate but we could only stay 6 nights. Due to an unexpected issue, we needed to reserve at the last minute. We were grateful to get a spot even though it's crazy expensive. This campground is a very "Florida Keys" and a little bit funky. Think 60's flower child goes to margaritaville. There is a mix of trailer homes (some quite old), rv's and tents. All sites are individually owned and only a handful are rented. Most residents stay for several months during the winter season. Everyone was nice and neighborly. There are lots of activities if you want to participate. There was no wifi at our site. All hook-ups worked perfectly. Verizon cell, Sprint Mi-Fi and DirecTV signals worked well. While it was a lot more than we would normally spend, we very much enjoyed our tiki hut, patio area and waterfront view. We would definitely stay here again. - GottaGoNow
Jan 2017 - $70.00
The sites on the water are beautiful. The waterfront site has a tiki on the canal and a dock to keep your boat at. The view across the water is beautiful. Total enjoyment. - Sunseekers RV Park

We have stayed here for 10+ years( jan-mar) small sites small beach SMALL PRICE margaret is friendly and cooperative place is kept clean. most sites are occupied by the same people for years If you want pools and all that luxury go next door for $3000/mth. We go here as a base camp - glenn56h
Jan 2017 - $75.00
This is the worst campground we have ever stayed in. The sites were extremely small and in fact our slide out ended up in our neighbors site. Also there were so many cars and trucks about that they hung into the roadway all over the place. It reminded me of a used car/RV lot. We were also told that the bathroom and showers were for tent campers only. Well there was one tent camper while we were there and I must admit I used the showers anyway. The grounds themselves gave an appearance of being neglected and in needing of sprucing up. We also found the staff a bit unfriendly. We would never camp here again. Wal-Mart offers better camping. - momdoc
Dec 2015 - $70.00
We have stayed here twice but will not stay again.
Campground is old and needs a lot of work. Sites are right on top of each other! While I do understand that RV Sites in Florida are "small", the sites here are "smaller".
Majority of "Campers" are either "Seasonal" or "Residents". - Mcpowder

Apr 2017 - $100.00
Previous descriptions gravel and hedges. Beach is nice and an easy walk to watch sunsets. Pool clean and looked inviting. Utilities worked well. They have started installing the modular "houses" on the south side of the park. But said they were still taking reservations. - rmartin
Mar 2017 - $110.00
This park is basically a gravel lot with many pull through sites, as well as some back ins on the edges. The reason this is worth mentioning is that the winds were almost 30 mph when we were here, but our back in site, #44, was very calm and well protected from the wind. There are hedges in between sites for privacy as well, but some people said they were buffeted by the high winds out by the waterfront. The beach was nothing to speak of, but was relatively clean and had a few docks to walk out on. Utilities worked fine but there was no trash pick up one day. When my trash was still there the next day, I just took it to the dumpster. Wifi didn't work at all. Showers were moderately clean but had some mold visible in places. Overall, okay if you need a place to stay, and easy to navigate with all the pull throughs, but too expensive for what you get. - Pinkflamingo71
Jan 2017 - $110.00
Excellent amenities. Big sites. Right on water's edge, bay side. We staged from her to do Miami, the Everglades, Marathon and Key West. The caveat here is the park has been purchased to redevelop into individual Vacation Homes. Development did not go as originally planned so has reopened as RV campground. Supposedly this RV resort will only be open until May 1st. This was high season, so rates were highest we have ever paid. Was able to get reservations within a week of arrival. Only 1/3 full. - Mike from Bama

Tight, Tight, Tight. Pulled in the entrance when I arrived just to find out my campsite required us to come in the exit. Friendly people helped us get into a very tight campsite. Overall the park is very clean. The the main road was recently paved. Beware of the entrance it has concrete walls that have a 10 foot opening. - Rusty S
Dec 2014 - $90.00
Stayed four nights near the water, gulf side. Small campground, great staff. Boat ramp, pier, large covered picnic/gazebo. Great spot for watching sunsets. Clean campground/beach. Saw a manatee and dolphins. Stayed in the A row between two permanent campers at the end. The one that was there woke us up at 2am banging on something with their friends, didn't leave until 3:30. Had to put the ac on to cover the noise. Several times during the day their music was so loud we had to move down to the gazebo to have a normal conversation. Should of moved after the first incident. Would go back if they weren't there, or maybe stay in the C row away from them. This could be a great place to chill. Met some really nice people there. Nice central location in Key Largo. - Kamper123
Jan 2013 - $64.00
The park is very tight, which includes both the roads and the sites. The park is old and funky with a noticeable lack of street appeal. Once inside the wall, you see that there is regular maintenance going on and there is nothing to fear. The pavilion on the water is nice; as are the residents, many whom are snowbirds. Note, because the spaces are small, you are subjected to your neighbor's habits. We were sited next to chain smokers and couldn't ever open our windows on the left side. Park management is very nice and they do a great job getting you in and out of the tight park. The internet service is surprisingly fantastic! - Maxine and Cinder

Mar 2018 - $93.00
Like others before me, I'll tell you to ignore the poor reviews. This is not a typical campground, by any means. It is an older park that has mostly park models, some permanent travel trailers and fifth wheels in it, along with new (some being built as we are here) concrete stilt homes. By my nearest count there might be 30 to 40 'camping' spots in here. Some of the units are weekend getaways for folks in the Miami area, some are seasonal and yearly rentals, and yes, there are spots for travel trailers and fifth wheels. We live in Lee County FL, and this is our second time here in a month. There is a strong Hispanic ethnic here, and we enjoy conversing with them and enjoying the music they play in the evenings. As well, there are folks here from all over the US and Canada. We just love this place! We are in spot 230 again, and are very happy with this spot. We are set in between two stilt homes that have recently been built. Our space is as wide as three campers and then some, with a concrete pad. We are on the canal that leads out to Buttonwood Sound, and the view is terrific. People here are friendly, ALL of them. The staff, other campers, residents, and weekenders alike. There is a boat ramp and boat parking, a beautiful swimming pool with a large deck, tennis, and a play area for kids. There is new management here as of late, and a great deal of upgrades to amenities and landscaping have been done, even during the month we were not here. Security here is excellent, as no one gets in without a pass card or decal on their vehicle. If you don't mind a diverse campground like this, want to be on or near the water, then this is the place. We've already booked for a spot on Buttonwood Sound for this upcoming November and can't wait to be back! - Springerdad
Feb 2018 - $57.00
Run don't walk. This is the worst RV park we've ever stayed in. First they lost our confirmed reservation. Second unless you have a 30 foot sewer hose you cannot connect. No cable TV even though they advertised it. Forth, AC trip.the breaker's that are worn out. - Johnbce
Feb 2018 - $55.00
The other reviews are somewhat true, this is mainly a colony of permanently parked trailers, plus a few permanent two and three story vacation homes. There are very few open motorhome sites. We are full-time motorhome travelers (in our sixties) and lucked into a great spot, right near the pool and Marina for three weeks in February. We ignored the reviews and took our chances, and ended up loving Calusa. There is a large population of Spanish speaking, mainly Cuban-heritage folks that come here. But there is also a large group of snowbirds from the Midwest and New England. We made good friends with both groups. The park's Valentine party was really fun -- the DJ played 50s-60s oldies for the first hour, then Latin music later. The pool is beautiful--busy on weekends, quieter during the week. Beautiful sunset viewing, and great boat access if you have kayaks or a boat. The office is well organized, the staff friendly and polite, and security is vigilant. You use a card to get in and out. Publix and Kmart are right across the Overseas Highway. Maybe we were lucky to avoid noisy neighbors at our site. Then again, we also enjoyed being invited out to Cuban culture night on the last Friday of the month in Miami, and partying at home in the park one night with American/Cuban friends. Don't let the bad reviews sway you -- for us this was a gem -- but what site you get may make a huge difference. We had Site 68 -- wonderful for our likes. - Kmsmolen

Aug 2018 - $40.00
Good state park. Sites wide enough but a little short. 35' class A backed all the way in and just enough room to park car paralle in front. Thick layer of pea gravel to park on. Drained really well during heavy rain. We were in site 14, which was directly across from bath house. Convienent if you need it, but not a good view. Campground doesn't have a separate tent area. On our last night, 4 campers with 2 tents were right next to us. - Dream Chasers
Aug 2018 - $34.00
Sites are very tight but deep. My neighbors sewer hookup was right by my door-ugh! I was unable to extend my awning. Lots to do and see at the park and shopping, good restaurants are close by. This campground is great for a base camp for all the activities but not for the "camping experience". - taplep
Jul 2018 - $36.00
We stayed for a week in early July. Sites were a little tight but clean. My only issue with the campground is the traffic in the park and the garbage pick up was accomplished at 6AM most mornings. This was LOUD and woke me most mornings. - Ajessuptrek

If you are an Elk and enjoy the Gulf, be sure to try this lodge. They have about 12 spaces with 50 amp power and water, no sewer. You park within 100' of the bay. They have a fishing pier and private beach with crystal clear water. The lodge is inviting and has continuous events. The hosts, Patty and Tim are the best. Try it. - ranchoddellago
Apr 2013 - $35.00
Open to Elk members only. Small campground in back of lodge on water - beautiful views, for sure. State there are 10 sites, but really only 8. Best place, price-wise, to stay if eligible. Would give a 10, however the hosts force us to lower the rating - they've been there too long - difficult to describe: nice enough people, but they keep photos & records of every visitor (a bit creepy), other examples not worth mentioning. Other guests great & friendly group. Good Verizon 4G coverage. We will stay here again if in the area. - campingandtravels.blogspot.com

WiFi is HORRIBLE. We have been here 5 months and the owner claims we are the only ones to complain. The regular snowbirds say they gave up years ago and have their own data packages. There are supposed to be routers sprinkled through out the park. Even standing under them, the signal drops out after a minute or two.
The pool is warm and only busy the months of January and February. Lots of activities (in Dec- Feb.) if you are a joiner.
Karaoke every Friday night, if you wish. Propane and rig washing are also available. - Theresavs

When we checked in they gave us a site but it had a truck parked on it,, called the office they said to just pick one nearby. Good location & close the Keys, Park is not that quiet with bikes going in & out, Tiki bar on site has loud music on weekends till midnight doing karoke. Old laundry room, sites are tight & hard to get in to other vehicles in the way. Lots of snowbirds. Probably won't be back. - 1972 camaro
