First of all, this not a bad place, just a bit noisy and crowded. We are full time RVers and Elite members of Thousand Trails Trails Collection. My wife actually likes it here because of it's proximity to the shopping. However, I do not like helicopters roaring over head all hours of the day and even the middle of the night. Emergency service sirens, roaring car engines on Route 192 (Irlo Bronson Highway) Nah, I like to relax and I will drive the 20 minutes or so to go shopping. The interior roads are in good condition. The pool area is also in great shape. I never went to the gym or clubhouse so I have no opinion on those. Resident annual renters are the usual arrogant "could care less" about us nomadic travelers attitudes is becoming an expected norm. My next door neighbor in a dilapidated trailer/bungalow #253 let her semi wild cats run wild, sleeping on our chairs and picnic table and pooing all around our RV at night and it stunk to high heavens during the hot days. Our Site was #254 so avoid it if possible. The showers were, very small. I am a large guy but far from the largest. I had difficulty changing in this tiny shower stall area. The bathrooms appear to be cleaned on a normal basis. The laundry uses tokens and have machines to dispense them. The washers were in good shape as well as the dryers. This place is not the top of my priorities for visiting again however, if it is the only place available, I do not find it that horrible that I would not return again. The staff here was wonderful and friendly. I would have easily given this an 8 if the bathrooms were more accommodating. - naknak
Nov 2018 - $88.00
The best thing about this park is proximity to Disney and other entertainment venues. We paid for what is called an "elite" site and assume that is what we were assigned. The site was too short for our 40' motorhome and towed vehicle, no picnic table (there were large groups perhaps table moved), neighbors too close and overflow parking on already too narrow streets. WiFi was free in poolhouse other there was a fee through Spectrum. This place would qualify as a mediocre rv park but not a resort. - Never Lost-New Adventure
Oct 2018 - $80.00
We were told the only way to guarantee to get a pull thu was to reserve an Elite space, which we did A couple months ahead of our arrival. It was a very tight space making it tough to pull through I had to back up several times to get my RV straight. Let alone the concrete was very unlevel. They had done some construction on both sides of our concrete slab leaving the dirt un-raked and very uneven. In fact my wife and I both twisted our ankles a couple of times walking on it to get to our truck. Our site also had a 4 foot dead tree trunk on it no picnic table and no even area to put our steps down. I went to the office to complain about our location and was just told that they were sorry and they would let the management know. I was offered no discount from the Elite price we paid $345 for four nights. This is an Encore property and they should do better than that. We could’ve stated many RV parks in this was by far the worst property for the money we paid. Maybe because they sent me an email a week ago wanting me to pay in full for a week ahead of time is why they gave me this lousy site. Fortunately we spent many hours at the Disney parks so we didn’t have to sit here and look at this dump. Will never stay here again. - Licari

Unbelievable tough driving into spot As this was the only park near disney with a week stay possible this was the one Close to neighbors and the road is front is narrower than my coach That means that everyone I'd stacked on top of each other They have a nice open area for large coaches but this has no sewer And can not be used for stay - vern bauch
Mar 2018 - $60.00
Nice park, pool and accommodations. A little tight for our 45' coach but navigable. - 450 LXi
Feb 2018 - $85.00
Stayed here for 3 days during the winter season in Fl. Bad mistake. When making reservations told them we needed a pull through: When we arrived, it was a back-in. We are a 40ft RV with tow car. Without a lot of "jockeying" room, sites are very difficult to get into even with the dolly unhitched. From the entry, the facility looks really nice: That is only in the front couple of rows. Our spot was in the larger back area which was unkempt, and full of what appeared to be yearly or seasonal workers area. Across from us was what appeared to be a souvenir store for Disney; one in the back had the sparkle type lights going all night and the other lit up with Disney lights. Not the ambience we want for camping in a tent, 5th, tag-along or RV. It was a large site width-wise but not enough to keep dolly attached. We had to move our tow vehicle one morning so a neighbor across the street could get out of his spot. . There was no guide for reaching the site and erroneous directions given by the camp personnel. With small winding, poorly maintained roads, it was difficult to maneuver through. Sites in back were grass and poorly leveled. Wi-Fi was fine as was 50 amp service. No garbage pick-up but we were within a short walk to the community dump. Due to the cost of this campground, I give it a terrible rating! I'm a native Floridan and know what the Orlando season is like, but I considered this price-gouging. For possibly $40/night, maybe. - docsheila

Fairly large park. Close to area attractions. Reserved online. There were a lot of pull-throughs and some back in sites that weren't occupied. Sites were full hookup. A few sites were held by long term occupants and looked a little rough but in general it was a nice looking park. Very few shade trees. Small modular houses were just outside the park fence on several sides. Our site had a concrete pad but concrete was broken and badly cracked. Hookups showed their age but functioned well. - Underlog

We went to the pool here. Restrooms needed updating. The showers were small and need to be cleaned badly. Spots were good sized. There was a small playground the kids and I went too. - TravelinFam

Very large Campground w/845 sites. Here for 14 days as Thousand Trails member (membership works for us as we camp 6-7 months a year, but doubt for weekend campers). Some pull-thru, most back-in. Our site had cement slab for MH, grass w/picnic table. No fire ring, but many campers bring their own. Full hook-ups and basic tent sites. Boat launch on Lake Hancock (area D) and fishing from dock area. Nightly crowd there to watch fire-works from Disney. No swimming there as gators may be there also. During busy season, newcomers (with/without reservations) line up at noon at entrance. Before then, new campers are turned away, to come back at noon. We arrived at 3PM, went right to parking lot where you are met with golf cart person, and guided to a site. We were told by friends inside to ask for one of three sites that were open. We took one that was close to them. We use a Verizon MiFi. Reception was slooooow. Used phone hotspot and was somewhat better. Did not use the bath or w/d which was close. Usual camp store with food and camping gear. Fresh vegetable stand daily. Located on Route 27. Just south is Route 193 that takes you to Disney (World, Springs, Celebration and all else.) If you look for a restaurant or a gift store, they are along the route. Not sure if these gift stores are less costly than if in Disney. Retired military (DOD/VA disability, and a few more) go to "Shades of Green", ARMY owned hotel. There you can buy discounted tickets to any of the attractions. You can also stay there. Believe they charge by rank!! - Long Island Mac
Jan 2019 - $1.00
The staff were very accommodating. Thousand Trails is a first come first served camping club. We were fortunate to get a site on the edge by woods. The park was very crowded. It is close to Disney, but everything was still a half-hour drive or more due to traffic. Laundry facilities are good but pricey $3 for wash and $3 for dry. It is a huge facility and kept nice and neat. I saw lots of birds including Sand Hill cranes. It was easy to navigate and the roads were wide enough to comfortably get around. - WeGo2See
Dec 2018 - $1.00
We are full time RVers. We are Elite Thousand Trails members and stay within the TT system 90% of the time. Our opinion my differ from most because we look at these resorts as "home" and not a vacation location. We look for cleanliness, efficiency and location. Orlando has it all! Nice sites everywhere. Paved roads, clean toilets and showers, wonderful staff, friendly neighbors, resident turtles and flamingos, great recreation area, easy delivery of packages, steady 50 amp power, good sewer system and Disney World fireworks! Our only item we wished they had more of is a playground suitable for younger children. Other than that, we love this place. - naknak

Apr 2015 - $18.00
This was my first experience in any RV park so I don't have a point of reference, but what stood out was the helpfulness of Ray, the park owner. He took us to our spot to examine it prior to escorting us down and even helping us set up.
The spot itself had some exposed tree roots but that didn't pose a problem. The spots are pretty small for a large class A such as our Outlaw, but we managed to get in and out without any trouble.
Neighbors are very friendly. We enjoyed our 3 night stay. Tremendous value with our Passport America 50% off. - Outlaw Pilots

Older park built before today's big rigs. Very tight backing into my spot. Many older trailers and permanent residents. - MikeMayNaama
Feb 2015 - $20.00
We used this park as a base to go to Disney World and Universal studios. It is an older park with most guests being permanent, but all were very friendly. The spaces are very tight but the owner did an excellent job of guiding us in. The bathhouse only has one shower in each of the men's and women's, so timing is everything. - Oldbillm

Jan 2019 - $35.00
The only good thing about this park is the restrooms/showers. They were clean but dated. The park itself is old, needs maintenance and has serious problems. The power pedestals have inadequate 30 amp power because when I ran my microwave, lights and TV, the breaker tripped. I talked with my neighbors and they experienced similar issues. The sites are a combination of sand, mud and minimal gravel. The sites are unlevel and even my leveler system could not make up for the unevenness because they sunk into the soft ground. The sites are packed in like herring in a tin. There is no cable TV, cell phone reception is minimal and the wireless internet is weak and slow. I would have given ZERO stars if that was an option. The place should not even be listed. - Submansd
Mar 2018 - $50.00
Park is old and the roads are very narrow and difficult to navigate, especially in our 39 foot bus. We disconnected our tow vehicle at entrance and still had trouble. The pool is very nice and there are activities that seasonal campers enjoy. Only there 5 nights and wasn't interested. We had visited last year and new management was not as helpful as previous was, no escort to site and were directed via a route that our bus couldn't make the turn. That said, less than 10 miles to Disney on 192 filled with shopping, restaurants, Old Town, Fun Spot and Celebration at great rate. - DebbyandBob
Feb 2018 - $50.00
Would give zero stars if I can. I made a reservation over 3 months in advance via their website with a deposit and given a site number. I show up and they have no record of the reservation and the site is booked to someone else! Furious. Not easy to find another place to stay during snowbird season. They say it was due to a new system. Apologies, but I still haven't received my refund 3 days later. - Lnskaye

Sep 2017 - $16.00
I would not recommend staying here. We checked in August 29th and left October 2nd. There is no wifi at the park except a weak signal in the cabins. The pool was closed the entire stay because the pool pump was broke. The tennis court had no net. The basic cable they advertise does not work on all spots including my site. The roads are covered in potholes and patches. The restaurant has a smell of old grease and decay, just look at the floors. The boat ramp is unusable due to the lake level, but it is not posted. They are under a boil water notice, posted at the office and laundry room, but they did not send out a notice to all the spots. I don't know how long it was posted before I found out. Don't expect to use the bath houses there either. They were all boarded up before Irma and remained closed after. I suppose management feels you should only use your RV for bathroom and shower. We left for Hurricane Irma and came back to our lot and had to clean it ourselves. Tree branches and leaves everywhere. Trees throughout the park have limbs and dead wood that can fall and hurt or kill someone. Some trees are threatening RVs parked on the lots. There are several sites that appear to have abandoned RVs on them. Sheriff's deputies were called out 3 times for criminal activity. Once had a woman running around half naked. - Chris Green
Mar 2017 - $40.00
Low voltage. Water off and on. Poor management. - Dengbds
Feb 2017 - $65.00
Management is nonexistent. Assigned a site by staff member who had never walked the park. First site assigned was occupied. Second site inaccessible without driving over a 10 inch concrete curb. Not rv friendly streets , very narrow and boardered with concrete curbing. This is a fish camp not an rv park. The fishing is however top notch. The restaurant is simple but the food and service are great. Directly under OIA flight path very noisy well into the night. Friendly campers helped greatly in locating our site and helping situating our travel trailer. The owners of this park have a lot to learn. I will not return. - Phil perreaulr

Close to office spot yet wifi terrible all week. They say it's a hotspot when you ask, yet the advertisement says wifi. They shouldn't say they have it if they don't. Its part of the planning of where you want to stay. (Admin note: park website amenities show "wifi access") - Sondkr
Jul 2017 - $21.00
Showers/bathrooms that we were near had only one stall. So one shower at a time. They are not air conditioned and there was no airflow so, you sweat in the shower. The men's restroom had their one toilet overflowing with paper and completely stopped up, so we had to call a number for service, which was taken care of after a while. The women's side was right next to the door of the clubhouse, so we had a man sitting on a bench, smoking right next to the door of the bathroom, blowing smoke in with us the entire time we were in there. We felt a bit unsecure about it all, so one of us stood guard while the other showered. Our site was by itself, but other sites appeared to be extremely close together. There appear to be many permanent residents housed in small trailer houses or rv's here. We took the kids to use the pool and residents were smoking and drinking by the pool and playing some atrocious country rap music that was laced with foul language, and DID NOT care that my little girls were present to hear it. We arrived around 3 or 4 on a Saturday, no one was ever present in the office. It was closed on the next day, and as we couldn't remember if we'd given them a credit card number to pay with or not, we tried to contact them via the number on the office door but only got an answering service. We did make contact the next day via phone (after we checked out.) The price is good here, but I feel it's much more inclined towards permanent or long term residents. I doubt we will stay here again. - girlfriday007

This campground is very old with a lot of deferred maintenance. The front area is literally a junk yard with machinery, parts and a variety of old rusted out equipment. The north part has some wide open sites large enough for a big rig, the others are very small. Initially we had planned on staying a few weeks, but quickly changed our plans due to the conditions. Do not let their website fool you. And their rates are pretty high for a park with nothing. - The DnD Adventure
Jun 2010 - $35.00
Fair warning: if you want your RV to be infested with ants, including fire ants, this is the place. We paid up front for a week but could not stay the entire time because this place is infested with ants. The owners do not take proper care to keep this problem under control. We had to spend $50 in pesticides to get rid of the 3 species of ants that overran our RV and it took an extra couple of days AFTER we left to finish killing off the ants that invaded our home because of this park. Place looked ok on the surface when we arrived. Further looks showed that the bathrooms floors were not cleaned the entire time we were here. There is no AC in the bathrooms, which has two tiny windows that were no adequate to cool the area. There are bugs in the bathrooms. The laundry room doors are left open 24 hours a day with no AC, so it's hot, muggy and full of flying, biting bugs. Laundry room, bathrooms and the "Fellowship Hall" all part of the same building but only the "Fellowship" area had air conditioning. We were not invited to use this area at all. I was lied to by the staff. When we complained about the ant problem, I was told by a staff member that, "Everyone in the park has this problem every time it rains." When we left the park early, I was told by the owner that no-one else had this problem and the owner suggested that perhaps we brought the ants with us? (Not the case and I was offended at the suggestion and by the owner's uncaring attitude.) We were refunded the amount of time we did not stay with them (1 night). Overpriced compared to other parks in the area and our cost in pesticides to fix Merry D's ant problem made this place even more expensive. I cannot recommend this place at all. If I could give a negative star rating I would. - conniecc
Feb 2010 - $32.00
This is a very old campsite with many permanent and older residents/units. There is little if any apparent control over clutter - many old units have junk under/around. Nevertheless, it is quiet (seniors sleep!) and the sites are large. If you are looking for a cheap place to hang your hat while you visit Disney then consider this place - less then 30 minutes away and no Orlando traffic. Do not expect good Wi-Fi service if you cannot see the laundry area - like many RV sites the owners advertise Wi-Fi on site but that is nonsense. A $75 router is not Wi-Fi on-site! Our cable TV did not work and the owners could have cared less. We don't watch much so that was not a problem but if you do, then take care because you too might get stung. Would we return? No - I think we would try to find an other place that is equally inexpensive - this cannot be the only one. - Aftica

Very nice campground. Very quiet except for an emergency siren now and then. There is a town home community right next door alongside the campground, but we never noticed any disrupting behavior or loud noise. A very pleasant stay. - Coiner45
Jan 2019 - $82.00
The place is nice enough and clean enough. A little tight for larger vehicles but you can get around. The problem here is the wireless service. I have never seen a place do a better job of putting out antennas and repeaters. There are multiple strong access points. Then they throttle the throughput to NOTHING. I could not get 1 MB of speed regardless of what I tried. The Verizon cellular service is so bad that a mobile hot spot is equally useless. If you need to conduct any business - stay away from this place. Find a way to live without decent internet for the duration of your stay. Don't come here if you need to conduct business while in the park. - Ras2
Jan 2019 - $70.00
Great park. Huge, level pull-thru sites. Nice spacing between campers. Lovely plantings throughout. Very clean. So, why just a "good" rating. Simple - the wi-fi is AWFUL - they have multiple routers and it still is AWFUL. Literally does not work. I mean, come on. It's 2019, you've only got 98 sites, you are charging premium buck, you are in a very populated area (not the boondocks), everything else about this place is first class and yet you can't figure out how to deliver at least average internet service??? Fix this and get a 10. For this type of price, I expect the absolute best. - BigGuy82
