Unbelievable tough driving into spot As this was the only park near disney with a week stay possible this was the one Close to neighbors and the road is front is narrower than my coach That means that everyone I'd stacked on top of each other They have a nice open area for large coaches but this has no sewer And can not be used for stay We camped at Tropical Palms Resort in a Motorhome.

Pulled up to a line of rvs with no one checking them in, office closed, security suppose to be checking people in, they show up after about 20 minutes, and calling toll free number, security was challenged in american language, spots were crowded in the gravel and mud.I will not stay here again. there are some nice sites here but we didnt get one. very crowded large park. We camped at Tropical Palms Resort in a Motorhome.

This place is overpriced and staff is awful. Laundry has mostly broken machines and WiFi is useless. Don't ask front desk staff a question because they don't want to be interrupted from their conversation. Don't stay here there are better options. We camped at Tropical Palms Resort in a Motorhome.

This campground is ok, but we won't stay again. We were there for a motorhome club rally. We were promised 10 sites together and didn't get them. Some members were in other sections - very inconvenient. One member was given a short site for a 40ft coach. Our site was next to a long-term camper. Had clothesline and large trailer with trash and leaves all over it. That was our view from our dining table. Parked on grass with cement pad for patio, kept dirt and mud (it rained) out of our motorhome. Roads inside the park are extremely tight. The location is good - great Publix across the street. Didn't use the pool but they had lots of lounge chairs around the pool deck. Sites were roomy. So, positives were roomy sites, cement patio, pool area, and location. Negatives - not accommodating to rally group and allowing unsightly long-term campers. We camped at Tropical Palms Resort in a Motorhome.

First saw this park while staying elsewhere the year before and was impressed so much we made reservations on the spot for the next year. Hard to put my finger on it, but my expectations were not met. Sites were close - some of them too close (and we're originally from the Northeast where all parks are tight!) Paid for a premium site (paved with concrete patio) and guaranteed a site within that section. Also told that priority went to monthly/seasonal campers. No problem - understand the policy. We arrived and were told park was totally full but a site was saved for us. Escorted to the site and it was occupied! Only other site available with W/E/S/Cable was much shorter than others - but managed to just fit (Toad had to be parked away from the site). We were on a busy corner and the site really shouldn't have been there for anyone! The management never explained why the original site was occupied, but the RV there stayed the whole week we were there. There were several others in the office when we were there to deal with the mistake and they also had been given sites that were occupied! Not a good start. Park is large and the streets were very confusing. Arrows painted on the narrow streets all seemed to go the same way!!! WE had to go against the arrows to leave the park. The laundry area closest to us was far too small for the number of sites it was supposed to support (3 washers and 3 dryers - $4 to wash and dry). The food at the pool area café was barely adequate (although not expensive). There seemed to be numerous activities available and the pool area/recreation seemed to be family friendly. This park has so much potential to be awesome, but somehow it just seemed ordinary - and not very organized in the office for sure! They seemed surprised but not at all really concerned when the site "saved" for us had another RV on it!!! We camped at Tropical Palms Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Great location for visiting the theme parks. Only about 5 minutes from Disney, right next to run down old-fashioned area called "Old Town".

Just OK. Staff disinterested unless you wish to purchase a park model which seems to be the main focus of this park . Bathrooms just OK, wifi useless , pool tiny for a park this size , concrete pads overgrown . Close to Disney and local bars etc , at a reasonable price for the area . We camped at Tropical Palms Resort in a Motorhome.

Rate reflected is with a four night buy-one-get-one offer. Would not stay here if we had to pay full price. The best thing this park has going for it, is its location, close to Disney and many restaurants. Has one pool that is too small for a campground of this size. Never went in the pool due to it being overcrowded. Bathhouse/restroom could use a good scrubbing. Thick dust on top of toilet paper holders, mildew buildup in shower stalls. No bench to place items in shower area, just a couple of hooks. Tour helicopters are constantly flying overhead during the day. Most sites do not offer any type of shade and the sites are close together. Old Town is trinket stores, bars and carnival rides. The resort employees were very friendly. We camped at Tropical Palms Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This campground was recommended by a friend and highly rated by the Trailer Life directory. Both over rated it. The office staff were wonderful: helpful and pleasant. The park looks great, but it ends there. The roads are narrow and with unmanageable turns for anything but the smallest RV. The campground put large motorhomes towing long trailers on sites too small for them. It was crowded to the point of being claustrophobic. It is over priced for what it is. The WiFi didn't work. Even after an "upgrade" it was useless. The cable TV was poor. It is located close to attractions, but the negatives far outweighed the closeness. We will not be back !! We camped at Tropical Palms Resort in a Motorhome.

Trailer Life shows this park as "Big Rig Friendly" but it is not. Roads are narrow, and the sites are too close together. Trees and utility pole placements make maneuvering very difficult. Cable TV reception is poor. Basically this park is long on price and short on amenities. We camped at Tropical Palms Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The resort is split into several camping areas, the “Premium” sites are close to the office and pool, are pull-through, with concrete pads, cable TV (not very good) and 50-amp service. The “Non-Premium” sites are grass with 30-amp service and are located toward the back of the resort. Free Wi-Fi is available sporadically throughout the park. All sites where fairly level and in good condition. Sites are narrow in my opinion and not very deep; access streets are a little narrow as well. If you have a large rig with a tow vehicle you may have a hard time getting it all on the site (neighbors stuff spills over just about everywhere). If you’re looking for a resort close to the Orlando attractions with a lot of activities and party atmosphere you’ll probably enjoy your stay. The pool area plays music (loudly) most of the day and into the early evening. If your looking for a quiet, restful stay this probably isn’t the place for you or at least not in the premium sites. We camped at Tropical Palms Resort in a Motorhome.

This used to be a first rate park before Encore bought it a few years ago. We used to stay here every year 5 years running. Had not stayed since 2004. Came back this year to find the park models taking over. This is really Encore's business - selling park models and you get that feeling. We stayed a few days and moved to the KOA nearby. At the rate Encore is buying RV parks and converting them to park model parks, RV friendly parks will be harder to find in Florida. We camped at Tropical Palms Resort in a Motorhome.

Starting to look run down. Cracked slabs, holes around the slabs. Don't enforce quite hour. Getting too expensive for most campers. When checking in I found the staff very uncaring and not friendly at all. Not a good first impression. We camped at Tropical Palms Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The park is in a good location and has a nice pool and snack bar. The cable is very limited (as in only a few channels). The wifi is only available at the pool and office from an outside vendor for an additional fee. The bathrooms are really dated (think old campground not resort). The laundry room is big and clean but the dryers were quarter eaters that took forever to dry a load. This is a large park yet only offers one real swimming pool and one laundry. The sites in the front near the pool are paved while the others are on grass (with lots of ants). We camped at Tropical Palms Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This campsite is in a good location, and is near the theme parks and Oldtown center in Kissimmee. The sites are very small and it appears to be more of a residence for elderly campers. We may visit again if planning to visit the Kissimmee area. We camped at Tropical Palms Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The place has gone downhill since new owners took over. It is still a nice enough place to stay but not like it was. Staff not as friendly or accommodating. But, it is right new to Old Town and just a short drive to the Theme Parks. We camped at Tropical Palms Resort in a Motorhome.
