RiverBend is 17 miles east of I-75 in Fort Myers in the little town of LaBelle. Roads throughout the resort are paved and wide and each site is roomy with a concrete or paver pad. There is a staging area in the front of the resort for removing the car or trailer. Pads are level and utilities are mid site of the pad. Power and water pressure good. They are in the process of installing high speed Wi-Fi at each site which will be up and fully operational late summer. Satellite reception good and OTA good. Verizon signal two to three bars in our location. We have traveled across most of the country in our motorhome and can honestly say this is the nicest location at which we have stayed. One reason is that the sites are nicely spaced with lots of private space, and the other is the residents who reside there. During peak season there are endless activities and really friendly folks all around. They have a pool and club house, a lovely clubhouse by the river, and an activity center for crafts as well as their welcome center A really spectacular spot. Will definitely return. We camped at Riverbend Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

This campground feels like an upscale neighborhood. Manicured landscaping and beautiful sites with many beautiful lake views. very private. If I lived up north and wanted to spend a month or two in Florida I would buy a lot there. So many activities and friendly people. The realtor and is such a nice guy. This is absolutely the best Motorcoach Resort we have stayed at!! We were so impressed by the grounds and the meticulous details (scrubing the curbs and wiping down the street lights) Once you arrive you don't want to leave! We were renters but were welcomed from the time we arrived. It is really a community of owners and renters that all pitch in to make this place very special. Their are activities that begin at 8:00 and some days go until.... Sunset on the Caloosahatchee River is breathtaking! The facilities are top notch! They have a big beautiful club house that has an activity room, library, pool room and bar. The swimming pool is very large and also has a nice clubhouse with kitchen, workout area, laundry, showers. Around the pool are two hot tubs as well as shuffleboard, putting green, picnic facility. The owners have also added a race track with miniature cars, their own miniature railroad, and on Wednesdays you can watch miniature sailboat races. Pickleball Courts are top notch as well. The resort is just 20 minutes from I75 and very easy to access. The small town of LaBelle is 10 minutes and a new Walmart is 5 minutes away. Although it seems you are out in the country everything was still very convenient. We did venture into Ft. Myers which is about 40 minutes for dinner a couple of times but after experiencing the traffic we actually couldn't wait to get back to the quiet of the resort. We stayed here for 6 weeks and loved every minute of it! Can't wait to go back next winter!!!! We camped at Riverbend Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

One of the best class A resorts we've visited, in terms of design and maintenance. Lots to do, friendly fellow guests ... a great stay. Our pull-in lot faced a lake and the landscaping each side provided excellent privacy. It is physically remote, grocery stores at least 5 miles away. LaBelle is OK for a casual lunch, for finer dining you need make the trek to Fork Myers, about a 45 minute drive. Services were OK, but there is no site-wide wi-fi, a big disappointment. Longer term guests (30+ days) can get DSL service set up and there is wi-fi in the various buildings, but if your coach needs a wi-fi connection the only option is your data plan using the weak cellular signal. Seems like a throw-back to the 1980s! We camped at Riverbend Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

On the lake and a great place to own and stay for the winter. We live in Oregon, so that does not work. Park has remote car racing track, small train track park, boating marina, and lots of activities. 100 to 120 wide spaces and covered with vegetation so it's hard to see your neighbors. One of two parks where I would own if I lived closer to Florida. Pulling in and out of space is tough as the roads are not wife enough for a 45 foot to turn around in and back out of. This is a class A ONLY motorcoach RESORT, it has a 5 star rating with much to do in season, December to April. reservations are hard to get in season so book early. The landscaping of the park and the indivual lots are perfect, an oasis in the middle of the orange groves and cattle fields. LaBelle has everything you need and very friendly helpful people. it is located on the intercostal river and and has its own Marina. two club houses, restaurant, large heated 90+ degree pool and 2 hot tubs. Putting green, shuffle board, bocci ball, RC race track, Pickle Ball courts (8). remote control sailing club, Miniature RailRoad layout, Biking around the wide paved resort is a breeze or you can rent golf carts. Gym and pay laundry. The Lake lots are pull ins with a view of the water and fountains, very peaceful. We camped at Riverbend Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Ft Myers is a 30 minute drive to the downtown area with too many places to eat drink. Every Friday night they close the main street and have some type of Party with live music and entertainment. Quart House has great food and cold beer. SalCal Pizza is the best, eat in or take out will deliver to RB.

One of the classiest class A motorhome parks in Florida. 315 sites with a variety for rent or for sale. The "over the top" character is the friendliness of the people and their volunteer participation to bring added camaraderie. This is a place you visit one time and buy immediately. Large lots, excellent landscaping. The pool is huge, immaculately clean and sanitized with bromide which is so much better than chlorine. Activities abound and your arm gets tired waving at all the folks. Another important feature is that all of the drinking water is filtered with Reverse Osmosis, so it is extremely tasty and pure. Give it a try! We camped at Riverbend Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Sites are owned so your experience will largely depend on how lucky or unlucky you are with your site and your rate. We paid for a lake view and realized how lucky we were, because "lake view" could mean "see a tiny corner of the lake" or "see the fountain in all its splendor". We had the latter. In fact, we feel we had one of the best sites in the park - while there were neighbors they were never there (TONS of privacy), right across from a walking path/bridge, view of the fountain, far enough in that there wasn't any traffic noise, far apart from the other side of the lake, pavers, wide patio. This park literally has everything. Wide roads? Check. Paved roads? Check. Fenced in dog park? There are TWO. Pool? Yup. Friendly staff? Absolutely. Store? Yup. In addition, you'll see they have clubs for everything here. If you happen to have a model stock car, they have a track. If you sail small remote boats, they have a club for that. It is very large so you can run/walk/bike and not go around and around in circles. It met most of our "everything we'd want to see in a park" with one huge exception: the location. It is way out there. People may tout how there are local restaurants in Labelle but not many and not exactly ones of culinary greatness. The nearest grocery store is Walmart about 10 minutes away, but to get to others its about 20 minutes. Fort Myers proper is a good 30-40 minutes away. That said, we'll most likely be back because of how beautiful the park is. We camped at Riverbend Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

You are about 10 minutes from Walmart. If you have pets, drive a bit longer for a veterinarian than right around the immediate area. Fishing is allowed (believe it's catch and release).

What a beautiful place with very friendly people. It's kind of far out, but a Walmart, restaurants 5-8 miles away. Look forward to visiting again during "in" season when they have non-stop activities and restaurant and bar open. We stayed on a beautifully landscaped, shady lot on the lake just across from the pool and two spas. We camped at Riverbend Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We liked Forrey Grill for Italian food in town (8 mi). The Walmart is just 5 miles. Doesn't take long to get into Fort Myers Historic Riverfront district via 4-lane highway, approx 25 min, where there are good restaurants, shopping, art shows etc. Enjoyed the sunset from The Skybar atop the Firestone Grill. And of course, the Fort Myers Beaches are a must.

Riverbend is an upscale RV resort situated in a beautifully landscaped setting with large, paved, private sites. Many of the sites are privately owned, mostly by retirees who come to Florida for the winter. Ours was a pull-in, facing a lake with a fountain. We were there for three nights with a group of 15 other coaches that were scattered all over the park. (Probably due to the way the rental pool works.) Even though our group received a discount and it was off-peak season, we paid over $50 per night. (The restaurant was already closed for the season.) In peak season river sites are $140 per night. The fee does not include free WiFi, and our cable TV connection was poor. Landscapers woke us up at 7 AM, trimming trees and bushes. I would not stay here again because the park is not convenient to Fort Myers. Sanibel is over one hour away, and Fort Myers beach is close to an hour away as well. However, I imagine this would be a fun place to stay in peak season when the restaurant is open, especially if you're interested in getting involved in the activities and don't plan to drive into Fort Myers. We camped at Riverbend Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed at RiverBend from December through April. We arrived as renters and bought a lot before we left. The resort is away from the Fort Myers traffic and congestion but close enough to enjoy restaurants and the theater. We drive a 45F MH and access to the resort is east as is navigating around the resort and into the sites as the roads and sites are wide. As others have noted, the landscaping and grounds are lovely and the club houses are first rate. Utilities are good and the resort pays close attention to the quality of drinking water and waste water collection and processing. There is lots to do and if one is bored, it's their own fault. We found the people within the resort to be extremely friendly which prompted us to join the owner community. Renters and owners alike join in activities and most volunteer for one of the many "jobs" within the resort. Makes for a good sense of community. We decided we wanted a more permanent place within the resort. We will be returning here hopefully, for many more fun winters. We camped at Riverbend Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

This is where all the rich people go. Very friendly resort. First day we were made to feel very welcome and old friends. These people have all the toys. Remote control race cars and a scale race track with grandstand. Scale model remote control trains that cover about an acre. Remote control sail boat races. Remote control race boats. Drones. Tricked out golf carts. Bentleys, Vipers, SSRs, etc. Casitas. Impeccable landscaping. Pool is 90+ degrees in February. Socials almost every day of the week. You are in the middle of nowhere. But you can occupy yourself with all that is going on there. Great pickleball facility with very active participants. They hosted a tournament while we were there. Fun to watch. If you have bikes, the ride to Labelle is nice but there is nothing there to see. Lots of homes for sale on the river on the way to Labelle.

We stayed at Riverbend for six weeks from late December to early February. We were is site 204 which is considered a wood-site lot with slightly lower rate. This is really nice resort with a very friendly atmosphere and lots of activities. While we were there we made use of the pickle-ball courts, pool and hot tub, watched some remote car races, participated in the twice weekly exercise class and took advantage of the breakfast and lunch offerings. The park is spacious with wide paved roads and large concrete sites. We drive a 44 ft motorhome and tow a car. East to navigate and park. Resort staff is friendly and helpful. Our site had lawn table and chairs for our use but some rental sites do not. Lovely landscaping between most sites which are spacious and lots of grass in the resort. Cable is ok. We did not use the resort Wifi as they require you install a modem which they supply, so we went with our hotspot which worked well. Good satellite reception. There is a dog run next to the pickle-ball courts but we did not often go there. From our experience, this is the nicest resort we have visited and hope to return next year for a couple of months. We stayed at RiverBend Luxury Motorcoach Resort for a week over the New Year. Each lot is about 50 x 100-feet and has full hookups with cable TV, and telephone and DCL connections. Although WiFi doesn't reach the individual lots, it is available in all the facilities or you can sign up for the DSL service. Our Verizon MiFi worked great. RiverBend is an ownership resort with many lots available to rent. Nearly all have extensive landscaping. The resort facilities are simply outstanding. They have a beautiful clubhouse with bar and restaurant right on the Caloosahatchee River, boat docks, a nature center, store, large heated pool, good sized laundry, and many organized community activities. There is an extensive model railroad layout, dirt racetrack for electric or gas-powered cars, and four lakes. Every person we encountered at RiverBend were friendly and happy to be there. We definitely will return next year. We camped at Riverbend Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.
