We camp here several times a year and always have a great time. Beware that if quiet is important, the sites close to the bus stops are noisy until late at night. We always request to be far away from them. Birds and bunnies aplenty. The restrooms are spotless. Our 3 year old likes the pony rides and playgrounds. They have great hiking trails (paved and dirt) and fireworks at the waterfront. The main pool is a little disappointing when compared to what is offered at the Disney hotels. Maybe one day they will update it. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Everything was exceptional except for the site. We had to back in. It was quite difficult. The maintenance staff had to move a garbage container so that we could maneuver into the site better. Wish that pull-thru sites were available! We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Sites are a little small. They messed up my reservation and did not give us a preferred site. But after speaking with the manager we were moved and all was good. This place is nice. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

If you like going to Disney's Theme Parks this is great. We enjoy the parks and the activities available are especially nice for families. The rates are on the high side, and if you don't want cable TV, that is good, because you can save about $9.00 a day. But non-cable sites are hard to acquire. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

The park was very nice, we had a great location in the 1400 loop. This is the only loop in the park that has an inner and outer loop. We were in the inner, but the outer was closer to the Comfort Station and the Campfire/sing a long. The sites were large and clean with lots of trees and plants. The individual sites were closer to each other than expected and very little separated them. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Great campground - pool, trails, play equipment, restaurant, two trading posts. Great transportion to Disney. Resort card allows access to extra Magic Hours at amusement parks. We used bikes and found no need for electric cart. We were here in December and again in January. Our sites were both back-in. 1400 loop was tight in terms of trees and length but very convenient to campfire and movie location. Our site in 500 loop was very nice, close to clean laundry facilities. (They have the best laundry I have seen.) We could not get satellite either place. At registration, because of the large size of the campground, they really do not want to give you much input into your site selection. But by getting in early, and during the week, we were able to have some choice. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Word to the wise - stay away from the dog walk - canal area. A month later our dogs are home and miserable; we have never had ticks and we are INFESTED! We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

We’ve stated at this park twice. Once at thanksgiving in 05 and last year the week before Christmas. I can not say enough good things about this park.. Great sites and the world of Disney to explore. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

We have camped many times over a 20 year span in Fort Wilderness. Yes, it is a nice campground. Sites are very small, especially for a large motorhome towing a car hauler. As a staffer recently told us, they were designed for 26-28 foot camping trailers. Roads are tight, difficult to back into sites. Pets are charged $5 per night -- what does this money cover? Since we religiously clean up after our Mini Schnauzer, she isn't costing the campground anything. We last stayed in the 1900 loop. Every time we took her for a walk it took us 20 minutes to clean the droppings from the cypress trees out of her long hair. That being said, it truly is a magical place and we will happily continue to camp in FW. We just would like to see Disney expand the campground with a "big rig friendly" area. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Many sites are very tight for big rigs. Well run resort with typical Disney planning. Excellent transportation system within campground and to other Disney theme parks. Very clean and well maintained. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Just returned from a 5 night stay Halloween week. Without question this is the nicest RV park we have ever been too. The cleanliness is immaculate. The activities are enormous. For example - just being able to see all the Disney horses and watch a Percheron being shoed by the farrier was a wonderful experience for our children. The campfire program is priceless. The pools are large, clean and well managed. The bathhouses and showers are without question the nicest I have ever seen. It just doesn't get any better. Yes, I agree the sites are a little small and the roads tight - you have to remember this campground was built when pop-ups were the norm and not 45' coaches with 4 slides. I have a 40' DP with 3 slides and 2 awnings. The office helped me locate a site that was manageable. It is a wonderful place. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

This was our second visit here. The paved bike trails are nice. The campground is huge. A person can use the inter-campground busses to get from location to another, but we have found bicycles work best for us. Because of it's size, the campground rents golf carts. They can be a kind of a bother in such large quantities. The area near the beach is practically overflowing with parked golf carts. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fort Wilderness. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is truly a top notch campground. Everything is so beautiful and well maintained. We were in the 600 loop, which was convenient to the campfire and movie. There is so much to keep you entertained all around the campground. This is an excellent place to take the family, even if you are not planning on going to any of the Disney parks! We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The only reason I rated it a 9 is the check in process. It took me longer that signing my mortgage. Also, the site we were in was excellent, just a little difficult to get into. As usual, customer service was impressive. This was our 4th trip in 6 years and we will keep coming back. Stay in the 300 loop if you have pet, the other pet loop is not as nice.
